SonicLiving made me an R. Kelly convert. What more can I say? "Trapped in the Closet" saved my life. Did someone say Oscar? I use SonicLiving's concert calendar and promoter tools like R-Kizzle uses golden showers to get ladies in the sack. It works!

The first thing you should do when walking into the SL office is to check out the lifesize Jimi and Clapton cardboard figures. You get the feeling like you've entered into the HQ of musical Gods. The staff is always friendly and the kitchen is always full with your favorite Cosco delights.
If you want to impress your friends or dates, swing by this place and get a few high fives from your favorite local music lovers.

How many times have I been flipping through the Weekly or the Guardian and seen "[favorite band here] playing YESTERDAY". DAMMIT!!!
Ticketmaster and other ticket/entertainment agencies have similar notification systems, but they all involve you entering in ALL your favorite bands manually. Who has time for that? Sonic Living looks at all the stolen music in your itunes folder and sends you info when Baltimora is comin' to town.
I seriously get excited when I see an email from Sonic Living. I wish I knew about this when I was making money!!!

The only thing more exciting than getting a personalized email telling me that Def Leppard, Styx, and Foreigner are coming to the bay is a personalized email telling me that Poison and Ratt are coming to the bay, too.

Sonicliving is the best thing ever. Seriously.
It uploads all the artists from your iTunes and then tells you when any of the artists are playing in your area. It's simply perfect.
I love seeing live music. I think there is pretty much nothing better to do with your time or money. Sonicliving has changed my life in the following ways:
1) It's totally upped my cool factor because I always know what awesome shows are going on every night of the week.
2) I am broke because I am going to awesome shows every night of the week.

SonicLiving is everything that Going wants to be, but it's much better. Why? Its creators had the wisdom to focus on one thing and do it well, instead of trying to be all things to all people. The interface is clear and easy to learn, the updates are timely and uncluttered, and most importantly, the site doesn't try to be a Tribe or Facebook wannabe. No unnecessary social networking baggage, just good music and others who feel the same way.
It is powerful. masterful even. and it will FULFILL ALL YOUR MUSICAL DESIRES.

this hot, smart new site (the latest creation from Gabe Beneviste) is the best way to track the concerts coming to your neighborhood, while seeing what events the other cool kids are going to. from the awesome "wishlist" feature, to the "hellaphresh" application to download which adds your favourite artists from itunes, sonicliving.com is the work of sheer genius.

A: YES.

i have to say, i havent liked a start-up this much since yelp launched a year ago.. on top of its immense usefulness (after 3 consecutive years of missing the dates for the digital film festival, i finally made it this year thanks to Sonicliving!) it has the characteristic flare and wit that we have come to expect from a Gabe Beneviste creation.
naturally, its invitation-only, but you all know who to come to for a site-pass hook-up...

Forget about stuff sometimes? Want more casual nerdy acquaintances? Like music? And seeing it live? Are you a fan of calendars and youtube clips? sonicliving!!! It rocks!!! All the cool kids are doing it. Made by Gabe but nobody care's about him....it's all about the music, man. And the other stuff. Cause I think you can also find about plays and shit? Comedy shows? Whatever. Just get your ass out of the house.

Because of it, I know about tons more shows that I would have found otherwise, and it's great to know who's going so I can tell if it's a popular show or not!
The best part about it is that you don't have to participate if you don't want to. Just give it a list of the bands you'd want to see, and it does the rest!
