This place is a hidden gem. Lay out on the white sand or head out kayaking into the mangroves!
A perfect spot for a wedding at sunset!
There is even an educational park for kids this talks all about sea turtles! -

white sandy beaches! We went here after we did a snorkeling trip, it's very quiet and very relaxing. The Palm trees are beautiful and the water is warm.
It's a nice beach, but I wouldn't pay admission just to go to it, in my opinion. If you do the snorkeling tour or kayaking, stop by and relax at the beach! -

Like Laguna Beach in California in combination of beauty and cramped space. A very small, beautiful beach, but it is not so easy to avoid brushing past fat, hairy bellies every step.

Not sure what the big deal was. Good beach but not a-mazing.
Pros- There werent too many people there so that was nice. Free parking is always a plus! There's a small island you can swim too. It takes awhile to do so - I believe my boyfriend was gone an hour trying to swim to it and back. Not recommended as there are no lifeguards.
Cons- The first thought when I walked onto it was "Yay palm trees. Oooh, this is small." The part we were at had a nonexistant shoreline - you could lay out probably three people wide. I thought that was odd. The water wasn't clear blue like I thought it would be. Very murky. A lot of locals. Hard to find. My GPS said it was directly behind the high school but we drove awhile after that trying to find out where to park. It's next to a neighborhood - wouldnt it be nice to walk to the beach!
I got a tan so Im happy! -

This is what a beach should be like... white sand.... palm trees.... clean water.. i was in up to my chest and i could still see my toes... lol this is the best beach in the Florida Keys its actually in Marathon which is right in the middle i took me 30 min to get there and we were staying in Key largo.. the beach was grills all over, a playground for the kids, volleyball nets... and best part for me was that you can have alcohol on the beach.. awesome... i think this was the beach used for the corona beer commercials...

Gorgeous sand, lots of coral to gaze at, water was sublime ... calm and tranquil. It's a small beach, but perfect on a quiet day.

Nice little beach on Marathon Key. It's a bit small and gets crowded at times but it's quite beautiful.

Great beach. Showers, changing room/restroom, per friendly, picnic areas, playground for the kids and very clean. Large enough that you're not on top if anyone but not a huge beach that you end up walking for days to pick out your perfect piece of sand. I would definitely visit again.

A great beach; just be sure to check the health advisory before you go in the water!

i'd have to say, hands down this is one of the best beaches that i have ever been to. clean. dog friendly, childrens playground, volleyball sand court, grassy bbq pits and a beautiful beach with white sand and blue green water. i thought i was in heaven. by far this is better than the state beaches right down the road. not only are the facilities and the beach better, but its FREE.
