I love the pre-made sandwiches and salads when I'm in a hurry.

As the one year anniversary of my self-imposed Restriction (the Big R) on the SOLA CAFE approaches, It reminds me of how businesses could and should use YELP to monitor and better serve their customers. Two local businesses in particular, the Naked Noodle and Frank's, use YELP to respond directly with their customers, which is both admirable and professional. My hope is that other businesses will take the opportunity to be more responsive to the experiences and feedback from customers to improve their opportunities for success. With so many options available to customers and the continued expansion and use of social media, businesses have no credible excuse not to connect with their customers.

Loft style atmosphere.
Phood: bacon, spinach, and gorgonzola salad. Yumzies. Big portion and loaded with the gorgs. Warm bread on the side was a treat.
Java: iced mocha, strong but a bit watered down.
Overall: do it. -

Desserts, cookies, and treats are great. Wide variety of beverages and outdoor seating are nice. They have a drive-thru and parking is never a problem.
This places looses it for me in their odd layout...the line to order blocks the entrance/exit, and spills into the area where patrons are waiting for their coffee drinks. When it's busy, it becomes quite crowded.
Lunch and dinner options are just okay but seem slightly overpriced for what you get. Three of the four times I've sat inside for dinner, the waitstaff was not very pleasant.
It's worth it for coffee and sweets, but I'd get lunch and dinner elsewhere. -
Review from Dale Z.
Good, but not great. My Greek breakfast wrap had a strange flavor profile. Similarly, my iced latte seemed to have an unwelcome flavor. I tried the huevos rancheros of my dining companion, and they were quite tasty. I enjoyed the overall concept, but not the execution.

The housemade Sloppy Joe made for a simple, fresh, delicious lunch. The chocolate croissant I had was so-so--I would try the other baked goods first (quiches, pies, etc.). The espresso was very good.
The farm-to-table oriented food tastes fresh and honest, a welcome experience after eating overprocessed Sysco food in Yellowstone Park for two days. -

Great space to do work. Fantastic pastries. There's something wrong with the drip coffee. It's bitter. Most espresso drinks are made with milk instead of coffee in mind and the staff would do well to reconsider priorities. Lunch is usually great if not a bit overpriced. The music is atrocious. All in all one of the better places in Bozeman.

Great business, great place, good food. But it is SO busy sometimes (I guess because it is really good!) which is annoying. Great dish for anybody, and the pastries are to die for.

Took a group of business associates to Sola for dinner. They were able to satisfy the tastes of a diverse group of people with entrees ranging from traditional meat and potato style fare to fish, vegetarian, an individual pizza, pasta, salads, and burgers. We all left full and happy with our choices. Desserts, which we were invited to choose right from the showcase in the front of the restaurant, were all first rate. We picked a couple of different slices of cake (black and white and classic, but not too sweet carrot) and a couple of tarts (fresh fruit and vanilla raspberry). Fantastic. We did dessert family style so we all got a few bites of everything we chose. Again all rave reviews from the group.
Coffee was also great. Strong European style coffee. Not bitter or over roasted tasting like the "national coffee chain" tends to serve, just strong and flavorful.
Love the farm to table concept. Everything was really fresh. Many entrees were even topped by edible flower blossoms.
I travel across the country for work, so I eat out A LOT, and dinner at Sola was a pleasure. Great prices, too I don't think there was anything on the menu over $25.
When in Bozeman, I will definitely be back. Can't wait to try breakfast. Maybe next trip... -

Found Sola Cafe on Yelp. Food was local and really good. Good variety on the menu as well. I had salmon tacos with a fresh fruit salsa that had apricots and strawberries, the taste combo was very good. It's always a good sign when everyone at the table has an empty plate at the end of the meal. Other items at our table: Mac & Cheese - it was good, but not quite hot enough or cheesy/melty as I would have liked; side of green beans - fresh and very good, made in a creative way with hazelnuts and beets; burger - looked great, grass fed, didn't get to taste it; and, lasagna bolognese - also looked good but didn't get to taste this either.
This is a cafe and a dinner service restaurant, we ate in the restaurant. It was well decorated in a modern but nice way. I would go back if in Bozeman again. -

Carpinteria, CA
Strongly recommend! Great menu. Full of grass fed beef and vegetarian options.
We've been twice. The burger with red wine braised mushrooms, melted brie, roasted mushroom-thyme mayonnaise, caramelized onions, fresh sliced tomato is so unbelievably good.
(The other time we went I had the Moroccan curry bowl, which is ok). -

$11.00 for a bowl of salad that a five year old could make? This place is over priced for the portion size and quality of the dishes. Complained about the meal to the waitress and was only offered more of the same.
I would suggest you go elsewhere for a better meal and better service. -

Came here with friends to do some family style dessert eating. Had a few items and all were very good. The best however was the carrot cake....great icing, huge portion (great of sharing), and lots of good carrot chunks.
Service was excellent and the place looked rad with two levels of seating, etc. I will update again after I have bfast there.
*also saw they had a GF menu which is great! -

I've been to Sola about a half a dozen times since they opened. They have some interesting dishes but I've been pretty underwhelmed recently. The best things there are the soups and salads. Everything else has been good but less than spectacular. They took away the olive tapenade plate too. At least you can still draw as you wait for your food!

We stopped here on our way out of town after a visit to the Museum of the Rockies. Love the Fresh Market Fare to go concept. Great menu with a focus on local, organic products. Great options for breakfast and lunch; fresh bakery treats and yummy salads and sandwiches on super fresh break. Very friendly folks, great service, and awesome flavors. Cool community vibe, with live music on the weekend.

Good food with fresh ingredients. The greens w/balsamic that came with my sandwhich was a nice starter. The panini with ham and caramelized onions was really tasty. The turkey and havarti panini was a little lacking. The ginger cookie I had for dessert was amongst the best I've had at a bakery.

Sola Cafe is a fresh, new spot that serves quality food in a tasteful environment. However, like most good restaurants in MT, it is slightly overpriced. That being said, the ambiance is welcoming and I would highly recommend eating there because the food is quite good.
