Am I the only one that is not really into this place? Ok so yeah, it's cute, it's next to the Charles and crepes still get a bit of a novelty factor thing in this context but I just don't like their crepes all that much. Ok so maybe I've had my chef sister make it for me and teach me the intricacies of a fine, fine crepe and in turn has made me insanely picky ( and yes, A BIG ELITIST CREPE JERK) about the 'crepe' part itself where Sofi's totally fails at. Its gummy texture just destroys the whole experience for me and I've had it a few times with that same unappealing texture.

They get a star because the fillings aren't bad and they put a lot in for your money (especially the Nutella crepe--at least I can mask the bad crepe with a MOUTHFUL of nutella). Another just because it is good business strategizing in their part to have a cheaper, quicker food alternative for the pre-theater crowd and lunch crowd.  Other than that, parking sucks at peak hours in the area--as to be expected and yeah, I can't say I ever wanted to go out of my way to go here (and I live pretty close by).

Yum!  These crepes are damn good, beating out others I have had in San Francisco, Vancouver, and yes, even Paris.  There's just something great about eating your meal directly from your hands, where it feels nice and warm, and never really putting it down, like you would a sandwich.

The menu options for both sweet and savory crepes are tempting, and patrons are welcome to build their own crepes with the available ingredients if they want to be more creative.  Depending on how hungry I am, sometimes I can manage to have two, one as a main course and the next for dessert, but that's a rare day.  My favorite is the florentine, sans the parmesan sauce.

The space is small, but because they are able to make the crepes so quickly, the turnover makes it easy to almost always find a seat.  In warmer weather, it's nice to sit at a cafe table outside.  Be sure to check out the bronze key wall, which can be easy to miss if you are carrying out.

The prices are a wee bit on the high side, but when you consider how much popcorn costs at The Charles next door, it's really not so bad.  The drinks are cute and unique (like tiny cans of Coke), but more expensive than they could or should be.  The Charles does allow you to bring the crepes into the theater, but be careful, it can be messy to eat a crepe in the dark.  I speak from experience!

We love crepes, and Sofi's makes 'em right.  A nice list of savory and sweet variations, made and wrapped properly and served up nice and hot.  The prices are a bit high, but the place just serves crepes, so I guess they have to make a buck somehow.

Sofi's Crepes fills a need you never knew existed, the need for a fresh crepe before or after an artsy film next door at The Charles Theatre.

Part of what I like about Sofi's Crepes is the fact that its right next to the Charles Theater. But the other part is definitely the food. I love crepes, and these are great. What I like about Sofi's is that they have more than the standard crepe fillings, including bbq pork and cheddar cheese, bacon avocado tomato and sour cream, and all sorts of awesomely delicious sweet crepes (my favorites being either the nutella banana or the plain lemon and sugar).  They also have good coffee.  It gets crowded, but you have to take the location into account, but its the best thing after an afternoon movie!

Sofi's crepes had the good fortune of being located right next to a movie theatre in need of a quick bite to eat before catching a flick. As they became popular and grew to accommodate more patrons, the quality has remained excellent.

I've had many a savory crepe here and have never ever been disappointed. One of my true favorites is the turkey cranberry spinach crepe that is loaded with cheese. Their fillings are always fresh and delicious. I love that the crepes are never soggy and come hot off the special crepe skillet.

While I'm usually too full to get my all-time favorite, nutella and banana, you've got to make room or at least share a sweet dessert crepe for dessert. While you watch them make the pancake-like crepe, stare at those large tubs of Nutella and try not to order one!

I love that these crepes are authentically French tasting. Sometimes they may go a little crazy on cheese or nutella but I'd much rather it go that way that skimp on my condiments!

My one issue with Sofi's is that they are not open early enough. Sometimes I want to pop in for a lunch time crepe or a late night snack and they're never open! I don't think they're open Monday or Tuesday, the schedule is a little strange, but hey, what else do you expect out of a French eatery?

Great spot, right next to the Charles Theater. I always get their avocado bacon crepe, it's really good. They also have vegetarian crepes, sweet crepes etc. I like the cozy atmosphere in there. In the summer, it's also great to sit outside and watch the Charles Theater crowd. All in all, I think it's one of the best spots in Baltimore.

I love Sofi's Crepes. It's only a block from my house so I usually end up there about once a week.  I have sampled most of their menu and I haven't been disappointed yet. The crepes are soft and warm, the fillings tasty, and the service friendly. The only bad thing about it is that it can be really crowded on Saturday afternoons when people are either leaving or going in to the movies. Try the dijon, ham, and gruyere savory crepe--it's really good. If I am craving something sweet I usually go for the nutella or the crepe suzette.
