such amazingly cute, beautiful one-of-a-kind things in this lil shop. you'll find carefully & thoughtfully chosen wearable works of art here.
this is exactly the kind if store i seek out & love -- i only wish i could afford to shop here more!
The cuteness.
I love Sodafine. They have cute original styles. The prices are a little high for those of us who are ballin' on a budget. I love it. Fashionista heaven.
Sodafine is one of the few reputable shops making "Melissa" footwear available for purchase online, and I scoured the internet for hours before happening upon this particular online storefront. (Melissa is the Brazilian footwear brand made famous for their collaborations with with the likes of Vivienne Westwood, Karim Rashid, and (!) Zaha Hadid.) I splurged for two pairs of shoes, and within three days they were at my door over on the West Coast. It was super fast processing and shipping for which I am very pleased, but as a result of Melissa's crazy shoe sizing discrepancies, I'm going to have to test out Sodafine's return policy as well! (Thank god this shop is also one of the few that will accept online returns! )
Although I came here for Melissa, browsing through the online selection has piqued my interest in a few other brands that I'd never heard of as well. The online shop selection carries some very interesting and offbeat picks for which I would have to give kudos to the store owner's taste.
I'll report back on later on the results of the return process... but for now, five stars. I would definitely shop again. (As I'm trying to hold back from eating up some other items on sale here as well) One day I hope to be able to visit the shop in Brooklyn in person!
edit - 6/16 This is a totally late edit but I'm reporting in that my return process was totally smooth and painless... I sent my box back and got my refund processed in just about one week. Five stars! Thank you~

Sodafine is a class act. It's the kind of adorable boutique that should be on the top of a girl's list. If you're a guy you should love it because it's one of those places that makes it easy to shop for the women in your life.
The owner (Erin) knows what she's doing has done all the work for you. Whether you're looking for a vintage boy scout kerchief or a dress hand-made in NY, Erin makes it easy. It's fun just to hang out there and see what's going on with local designers. Maybe pick up a glass lapel pin or three. Yay.
ps.
Don't miss the trunk show there on Saturday April 19th (1 - 7 pm)!

I am a long time member of the Williamsburg haters band wagon but there are a few places that keep me coming back. Sodafine is one of them.
They offer very cute shoes and clothing from independent designers that have eco-friendly agendas which everyone can appreciate.
While most of the items sold are a bit on the pricey range, a lot of them are one of a kind.
They also sell health products and different types of stationary.

One of my favorite stores in all the burg. I always find the coolest clothing here - Feral Childe dresses, Loomstate organic jeans which fit like a dream, and adorable jewelry. This is my go-to spot when I need something special to wear. The owner is a total sweetheart as well.
Discovered it after visiting a friend's ad agency next door, Sodafine is one of the reasons Grand Street is becoming the new Bedford Ave. The owner Erin really knows her stuff and carries things leaning towards the whimsical including my favorite shoe designer Chie Mahara. I bought the perfect birthday card for a 1 year old there too.

I LOVE Sodafine. I would go to their shop when they first started off on DeKalb. I make the long trek here from Queens to buy Miss Jessie's curly pudding (which I know I can buy online, but going to Sodafine is so much more fun). I believe the shop owner's name is Erin, she is such a sweetheart. She was so helpful when I went on Sunday. They also have clothing and jewelry that you won't find anywhere else. Some of their pieces are even handmade. Go here. Just take a peek. You'll love it.
