This place is so so cute! I like how it's not just Hello Kitty merchandise. They also sell really cute stuff from Loungefly! They have a bunch of cute metal lunchboxes, key covers, candy, purses, wallets, stationary! This is now my go to place for cute stuff because sometimes I'm not in a Sanrio mood.
I love their current loungefly mustache merchandise! :{ -

cute little shop has less stuff now but i love me some hello kitty i wish they had more unique stuff maybe hand made or paintings or something its like a sanrio with less stuff also some pink haired lady gave me a dirty look when i was in there I go to uptown alot and well i expected better i guess the owner seems nice like i said cute little shop needs more stuff but cute

Everyone recommended me to this place..that they have tons of hello kitty stuff and that they do from what i saw....Im a gal of first impressions and i went into that store while i was walking uptown with my family and i had 5 minutes till they closed and i walked in real quick knowing i wasnt gonna walk out empty handed and my lil girl was excited to be in such a store and was already ready to take her pick and the lady told me they were closed!! i kinda looked at my watch and was like okayyyy i see 5 till but whatever maybe my watch was slow, but as we walked to the car down the street it barely said 7!! it must be nice to be able to afford to turn people away. I definitly will not go back to that store..

I had written a review before and was very dissatisfied with this store. Great selection of merchandise. Poor customer service. After some thought, I've decided to draft another review. Let me sum up the first review: basically Mary Anne(owner) was inattentive and preoccupied with her daughter and a friend who walked in to her store. I stood at register a while before she decided to ring me up. She rushed through sale, didnt apologize for keeping me waiting or standing there, didn't say thank you, & I had to ask about frequent buyer card. Now on to second visit in store. I figured I'd give it a second shot, the store did have great merchandise. I proceeded to purchase a $50+ medium sized HK bag, when Mary Anne looked at my credit card, she noticed that I was the same person who rated her store poorly. She immediately said," I can NOT sell this to you!" I was willing to give it a second go, opinions and Yelp reviews can be changed, but Mary Anne proved me right!!!! Apparently this small business owner doesn't care about word of mouth. One star for merchandise.

The name is exactly what the store is... SO SO CUTE! I literally spent my entire break from work browsing the cute Hello Kitty stuff and talking with the owner MaryAnn, who is SO SO SWEET! The prices are also very reasonable. I like the selection and will definitely come back! I am a FAN and any Hello Kitty fan, young or old, needs to visit So So Cute boutique.

I've been to my fair share of Hello Kitty and Sanrio stores in my time, but I think So So Cute Boutique is now my new favorite! There is such a great selection of items that appeal to the gals like me, who just cant seem to grow out of Hello Kitty. The owner was very nice and helpful, and she gave me great information regarding the types of items she stocks. I fell in love with the store on my first visit and cannot wait to return to see what new items have arrived.
As others have mentioned, there is a frequent buyers reward card. You get points for each dollar you spend and when you rack up enough you get a bonus certificate to use as you please. The owner even gives double points on Mondays and the week of your birthday. -

Great Sanrio store or shall I say Hello Kitty! So I was invited to a sweet 16 & lord knows I haven't been to one since I was 16 ! So as you probably guess my dilemma was finding this newly minted mid teenage girl a wonderful birthday gift besides a car ?! So I yelled and what did I find around my casa de Herrera ! A cute lil so so cute boutique called so so cute! Well the service was nothing bit kind! Im usually a customer who needs very little help,lit alone any at all....but since I was lost I asked for some. Wow she persuade me to get this cute lil bracelet when I was Going to buy a purse ! It was in the right budget and it looked so so cute! Cashier was polite we chatted it up and asked if there was anything else ! To say the least I'm so so Pleased with my service ! I will recommend this store for your hello kitty needs or you so so cute random things it's just a cute shop to shop in on almost any occasion !

Yeah that's right I love Hello Kitty...What? Not really but I have five sisters to shop for around the holidays, and this place set me up in one stop which I love, because I hate shopping. I went in and said "I have five sisters and I need knick knacks and gifts for their Christmas stockings, and Wam-Bam-Maryanne set me right up! This is why I believe in independent local merchants, you don't get that kind of help at Macys. I had gift for all five of the sisters and all for under $70, The owner Maryanne is a local, she is really cool, and has a lot of attention to detail. If you are into girlie stuff or need to buy some for somebody that is, you can't go wrong with So So Cute.

This place is a must for die hard Hello Kitty fans..the variety of this boutique is absolutely great! MaryAnn is geniuely nice and full of information, if you need the perfect gift for your daughter, sister, even Mom check this place out you won't be disappointed.

I LOVE this store! The Owner MaryAnn is awesome and helpful and will help you find the perfect gift or come up with perfect ideas for any occasion. There is tons of stuff to choose from and its all very reasonably priced. She also carries other lines as well and its all packaged into the cutest store. Its a treat for your eyes. Make sure when you go in that you buy yourself some of the tasty Hello Kitty gum but be forewarned that the flavor doesnt last long so you'll need to buy alot of it.

So So Cute Boutique is totally NOT so-so. My boyfriend and I, along with out two Bichon Frise puppies adore this neighborhood-cozy boutique. They sell wonderful items from hello kitty, harajuku lovers, angry little girls, and fluff! What I really love about their merchandise is that it's not only for little girls, but for customers around my age (21) and older! We had a nice conversation with the owner for about 30 minutes! she is totally sweet and I will be seeing her and her wonderfully decorated boutique again :)

I love all things Hello Kitty and so does my daughter therefore how could we not love this store! From the beachcruisers for mom and daughter to the apron and bowl set ! Last Christmas I got all of the cousins cute little purses from Fluff and myself a wristlet. One of a kind Hello Kitty jewlery made from one of my favorite designers pinkmermaid. I never leave empty handed. Maryanne the owner is a total sweetheart too, an added plus when visiting any store!

Can't say enough great things about this place! I've been a Hello Kitty fan since the beginning and am so happy to share Hello Kitty with my 4 year old daughter. The store is very cutely decorated and it's so handy, being in the heart of Uptown Whittier. I run in several times a month just to see what new cute things they have or to pick up a little gift for my daughter! I feel good about spending my money in a store that is owned by a PERSON, not the Sanrio corporation! I find their items to be really unique and they make excellent gifts.
As a side note, I have read other reviews of this store and have to take issue with the poster who had an issue with the owner's daughter being in the store on a Sunday. As a parent who takes her infant to work EVERYDAY I support the owner's right to take her daughter with her to work...that's why she's the O-W-N-E-R. There are lots of minuses to owning a business, but that is one of the perks! I would assume from the issue that it was a Sunday that perhaps an employee had called in sick and the owner had to cover and bring her daughter...I don't know what the issue was, but I wouldn't mention that in a review of someone's store. Stuff happens and that's how life is...it doesn't take away from how much I love this store..and let's be honest...is it really fair to publicly discuss someone's child ? I mean, isn't that like defamation? It's certainly not fair to the owner or especially her child... -

This store has really cute stuff. From hello kitty, tokidoki, angry little girls and more. It's a cozy little store with lots of of cute things. The owner is really nice. Very helpful. Answers all of my questions.
I went to this store three times in a span of 9 days. Wow.
i recommend this store. The 5-star that I gave says a lot!
