I hold SNIP near and dear to my heart, for obvious reasons.  

The salon is the type of place you can walk into and feel at home. There is no pretense or attitude; it's just the kind of place that welcomes you to come in and enjoy getting your hair done.  

Everyone who works at SNIP has been doing hair for many years and is solid at what they do!  The staff is friendly and always seems like they're enjoying the client who sits in their chair.  There is a lot of laughter, yet everyone goes out of the salon looking great!  The combination of professional work in a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere makes SNIP a cozy salon that offers quality work at very reasonable prices.  

I also enjoy that the staff is self-employed so I know I'm not only supporting a local business, but I'm supporting entrepreneurs.  This also allows them to be very flexible in scheduling so I can get in later than most salons choose to book appointments.  Whenever I'm back in the Toledo area, SNIP is a place I feel compelled to drop in and get my hair cut.  

The decor  and layout seems to change often, which makes it more interesting to see from year to year.  And, it tells me that they're spending money back in to Toledo's economy, which is important in today's economic climate.  

As the sign outside reads, SNIP truly is a very cool salon!
