Jamie is so talented with hair color and styling. She also does makeup and was featured in Allure magazine. In addition to making my hair look fabulous, she's extremely professional and pleasant to be around.

I had been going to Jamie for four years now. She ventured out on her own and I am happy I followed her. Not that I didn't love the previous salon she worked at-- but I just couldn't afford it anymore.
Jamie is very reasonable price wise and the quality is first-rate. She is extremely talented in hair color, styling/cut, and make-up. She is very sweet and easy-going. I highly recommend her.

Dear Tim G,
I am sorry this review has had such a negative affect on you. I am not sure if "the stylist" is a down to earth wonderful person, she was my gave me an awful haircut just before I went to my cousin's wedding. This is a site for reviews, and not everything is going to be positive. I am beginning to think that you work for or own this salon because I have no idea why you chose to attack me over having an unpleasant experience.
Once again, this is a site for reviews.
Do you attack everyone on here who does not have the same experiences as you???
Here is my review, however I did erase the stylist name:
Not impressed at all! This place has a great location, corner of Grand and Ogden. From the exterior I thought it would be a cute, trendy salon.
-However...dirty on the inside.
-The stylist said they don't take credit cards. So I had to go over to the bank to get cash.
-Stylist was extremely aggressive with washing and blow drying my hair. She worked very fast and for a second I thought I may be on a hidden camera show. The hot flat iron was so close to my eyeballs! I couldn't believe this was really happening.
-The blow drying went on and on forever. I was concerned she was going to start a fire. Her blow drier also gave out, so that should tell you something lady!
-I don't expect a stylist to be super phony or even sweet, but this one had a lot of unnecessary attitude about the world. She may have been hungover so I am not sure she was in any condition to be working.
-I am not sure she even had a good understanding of different hair types. She flat ironed my bangs so straight that they would not lay onto my forehead. She said that it was because it was a "fresh cut" - I guess she thought this was my first time going to a salon.
I had to water them down when I got home.
Please! Pass on this one.

I've been going to Jamie (who use to work at another great hair salon Red 7 Salon) for about 2 years now. She recently switched shops (SNAP Hair near Ogden/Hubbard) to give her clients some much needed flexibility in hours of operation Jamie is really great, her prices are reasonable, and the quality of the cut is even better! Plus she's smokin' hot and funny at the same time; a tough combination to beat. Give her a call.

After trying in vain to get an appointment with Jamie (I remember her from her Red 7 days, and she is beyond good), I decided to go ahead and, despite what a previous poster said, make an appointment with Angela. Well, I had a completely different experience, and was pleasantly surprised. Turns out Angela is a Greek girl (like me), and I remember seeing her at Mac Daddy (I do like to bounce around with my salons, I admit). I now am loving my color... I have a lot of old blonde highlights growing out of dark brown hair, and did not want any further damage. Angela put a permanent on my roots and semi-permanent on the rest, which added dark, rich tones, tons of shine, and my old highlights still show through, but do not have that over-processed, brassy look. My blow-out was a little more "flippy" on the ends than I like (I prefer a super-straight, flat-ironed look). But, overall, five stars for Snap.
