It's convenient for me because i can head over on my lunch break and be back to work on time.... I got my eyebrows/lip/chin done, which ends up being the whole face package, so you get a bit of a bargain... Jessica did it and it was spendid. She took her time, let me check out my eyebrows when she was done to ensure i was happy with the shape she gave me. Very friendly and professional. Already have a return appointment.
I've had two Brazilian waxes here so, one with Melanie and one with Jessica, and both were great! I will continue to go here as long as I live in the area. It's easy to get an appointment, the prices are reasonable, they do a great job and both Melanie and Jessica are awesome!
Hooray for Smooth Operations! I just went there today for my first brow and french bikini wax. Melanie was terrific and I greatly appreciated the "frosting" wax, which made my bikini wax much less painful than other places I've been. She was meticulous with my brow wax and I appreciated that she asked me if I was totally satisfied with them.
It's a little more expensive than my place in the city, but given the convenience and Melanie's great personality, I will definitely become a regular!

i loved smooth operations the moment i walked in... and then i met melanie and fell head over heels. i was so apprehensive to get regular bikini waxes because i have had some horrible experiences! melanie is professional, funny and does an amazing job. this is THE place to get waxed. i tell everyone that i can about smooth operations!
I went here for the first time for a little trip to Brazil last week. Melanie is so amazing, and does a phenomenal job. Way less painful than a few other places I've been.
Great level of service, great decour. I will be back very soon!
UPDATE: I got the lash extensions. AMAZING!!!! No mascara needed. no raccoon eyes! I feel like bambi. Its amazing and worth the hour and a half. And Melanie entertained me the whole time so it didn't feel that long. They are awesome!!!!
I have been trying to find a clean, friendly salon for waxing for a long time. Who knew that a traffic light would lead me to Melanie and Smooth Operations!
Melanie is professional, gentle, and best of all accommodating. I usually dread the process but with Melanie it's wax on, wax off. I'm amazed how pain free each visit has become.

Melanie has transformed my scrawny lashes with eyelash extensions. I look amazing! (yes, I really do!) My husband tells me how beautiful my eyes are all the time now. He likes the Brazilian bikini wax, too. She also introduced me to underarm waxing. I thought it would be painful but it didn't hurt a bit and they stay smooth for close to forever(like a month with no shaving!). Great location with lot's of street parking.
I was SO impressed and pleased with this place. Great, professional, speedy service. Melanie was very friendly and knowledgeable. Great location - private and very clean. One of the best brazillan wax experiences I've had - less painful and more comfortable than ones I've experienced elsewhere. Most places sprinkle you with powder afterwards and call it done. Melanie provided a solution to get rid of the excess wax and a gel to apply that soothed and cooled the area. I will definitely be going back here. If any of you out there get brazillans or want to try it for the first time.....this place, hands down is the best place to go.

I happen to of found Smooth Operations by accident. What made me want to go there was because the salon specialized in waxing only.... so being the smart gal that I am I figured she must be good.... Well, again I prove myself right, I am smart!!!
Melanie the owner is wonderful. I have very sensitive skin and I have never had an eyebrow wax that didn't result in my skin turning red and burning..... ,well that was until Melanie. I was and am very happy. She did a great job of shaping my brows and also giving me a natural nice tint to my brows as well.
I feel her prices are fair, service is above average, and she is very nice!!!! Give it a try.

Finally a place that just does waxing! I called in the AM and was able to get an appointment the same day. Waxing is well, never a pleasant experience. But she made it light hearted and funny. But ya, its going to hurt no matter what. So suck it up. She did a great job! Thanks!

This is the best place for that trip to BRAZIL (if you know what I mean). Not a pleasant experience for anyone but this is a truly great place to get it done! I was pampered in NYC by the J Sisters and tried to find something comparable to them and after some trial and error I found Smooth Operations and the lovely Melanie. She also can master the shape of your eyebrows and I even take my husband there to have his bushy brows maintained. GO, you won't be sorry!
Great place for waxing. It is by appointment so it is very private. Melanie is very pleasant and does an excellent job. It is not painless but Melanie does it fast so you don't feel too much. Highly recommended.
Omigod! I love, love, love this place. What a wonderful undiscovered new gem. I scheduled an appointment and to my delight Melanie offers lash extensions as well. No longer will I have to travel to LA to have them applied. For anyone who's never tried them...indulge yourself and never wear mascara again. natural, long, and thick-well worth the investment. Smooth Operations is charming, intimate, and pleasant with yummy little sweets to nibble on, on the way in and out. Great products and convenient parking. Secretly, I sent my beau there as well...and though a bit squeamish at first he's since returned. He too fell for Melanie (she's lovely) and her depilatory services rather than the alternative options-a spa or local nail salon. Yo check it.
Smooth Operations (and Melanie Kessler) is fantastic. I usually dread the entire waxing experience, but Melanie is so good! Very thorough and almost painless-truly the best waxing experience I have had. I will go back to Smooth Operations for sure and I urge everyone who waxes to give her a try.
Finally a nice, clean and fabulous waxing salon! Melanie is fantastic and the entire experience was great. I didn't feel a thing and left looking great. This will be my place to go from now on. Definitely recommend it!
