For a BBQ joint, Smokey Bones was ok. I ordered their pulled pork sandwich, which was good. They served it naked (i.e., without slathering it with sauce), which gets points in my book. But the service was slow and we had to flag down another waitress to take our order. Perhaps it was just a busy day - I've only been there once. Comparing it to another BBQ franchise, Famous Dave's, I'd have to go with Dave's for sheer menu variety and vibe.
