Sliders is the place to be if you're a hungry tiger and want a huge delicious burger to satisfy that uncontrollable craving.  They offer a variety of meat - beef, bison and ostrich.

I personally have tried the beef and bison burgers here and I would have to say I prefer the bison more than the beef because it's more tender and juicier.  I have yet to try the ostrich burger and I am putting it on my list of things to do.

The staff is friendly and service is very personal and homey and they have a condiment bar so you can have your big piece of meat with whatever else you'd like in between some buns.

I am not a burger-every-meal kind of girl but on the occasion that I am craving for a burger, I will go out of my way to come here.

Tucked away in a strip mall on San Carlos, Slider's may not be a place you go out of your way to eat at, but if you're in the area, it's definitely worth a visit.

The interior is fairly spartan, Counter and grill near the front door, seating towards the back. The choices are interesting (beef, bison and ostrich), plus various extras for the burgers (mushrooms, bacon, cheese, etc). The bison burger was pretty good, but didn't really taste all that much different than a beef burger. The sweet potato fries were pretty, except for the a few limp ones at the bottom. For unexplainable reasons, I liked the plastic trays/dishes and I thought the grill was pretty unique.  The condiments were ok - nothing out of the ordinary.

Overall, it's a decent burger joint, not as upscale as, say, the Counter but that's not necessarily a bad thing.

I was craving some burgers for lunch but had no idea where to go.  I was tired of Burger King, McDonalds, etc. and wanted to try something different.  What did I do?  I turned to yelp and found this place.

On their menu, there was a Combo menu but only had 5 items.  I ordered the Chili Cheese Burger and asked if I could make it a combo, which consists of fries and soda.  It came out to be $9.55 and I'd say it was worth it because I was full when I finished.  It wasn't as messy as I thought it would like most Chili Cheese Burgers out there.  My brother ordered the Mushroom Burger and made it a combo too (also same price as mine).  I tried half of his burger and it was good.  Free refills for soda.

There was a self-serve condiment bar with the usual condiments like ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise, tomatoes, lettuce, pickles, etc...  These were maintained because I noticed one of the employees cleaning up the condiment bar.  He threw away something in the trash and refilled anything that was low.

I noticed a lot of pictures hung on the wall and majority of those pictures were comparisons of how San Francisco looked in the early 1900s with how San Francisco looked now.  I thought it was interesting to see how much had changed over the years.

Overall, the burgers were good and it was worth the money.  I'll post up pictures after I finish this review which is now.

Don't let the surroundings fool you!  I was very surprised at how nice the interior looked compared to the other stores around the area.  Although it's in a pretty run-down neighborhood, Slider's Burgers is very clean and well maintained.  Burgers and fries are cooked right in front of you so you can see that there's no shady shit going on.

Let me first tell you that I am not a big advocate of burgers at all.  Don't get me wrong, I've tried a lot of burgers and I still eat them from time to time, but I've never craved it at all... until I found Slider's Burgers.

In my first visit, I tried the mushroom burger with a shake and both were delicious.  The burger was cooked to medium-rare perfection and they even cooked a pineapple on top of it for me too (by my request).  Surprisingly, the milkshake was an ACTUAL milkshake, where they used real Dreyer's ice cream and real fresh milk (very rare to find nowadays).

I came back many more times after this and tried numerous items on their menu, all of which were excellent.  I highly recommend trying the bison burger or ostrich burger with some sweet potato fries.  If you're a pineapple fan like me, you can request for them to cook the pineapple with your burger and it makes everything taste so much better.

The service here is great.  The workers and even the manager remembered my name after the 3rd time I came there.  They always talk to me while I'm waiting and cook my burgers perfectly.  I always leave a pretty big tip in the tip jar because they really deserve it.

I still eat burgers here and there but I have not found any place even remotely close to the quality of burgers served at Slider's for the price.

Honestly, this place was not that impressive. It wasn't bad and the people who worked here were really nice, but it was just a burger even with the condiments/ fixings bar. Although that does deserve a start itself.

I got the avocado burger which was $6 with no fries and no drink. It was good, but nothing to rave about. It took a little longer to cook than expected also.

It's cool that they offer unique burgers and maybe i'll come back to be more adventurous with the ostrich or bison burger.

Some of the others I was with said they'd prefer In-N-Out and I'd have to agree.  But overall this place is A-Ok.

Sliders, a pretty average burger place with an ironic name.  Note: Slider's does not sell sliders.

Had a Bison burger with fries.  Pretty standard lean patty.  Slightly overcooked in a mediocre sort of way.  Toppings at the topping bar were pretty mediocre; freshness would probably be similar to toppings at a Subway or Quizno's.

Overall as average of a burger place as you can get.  Some people love it, but I felt uninspired after I was done.  It's not bad, it's just also not incredible either.

I was encouraged to indulge my burger craving by going to The Counter before trying Slider's a few months back and was disappointed in myself for listening to this person (names will go unmentioned but he knows who he is;).

A couple weeks ago it was a neighbor's birthday and he wanted to karaoke so a few of us headed to the Red Stag to get our karaoke on. To make a long story very short about that evening, I accidentally left my wallet there. Fortunately someone found it and turned it into the bartender for me. I thought to myself that this would be the perfect opportunity to try Slider's, after retrieving my wallet.

As I was waiting for the lunch hour to roll around I  decided to cruise their menu. I was skimming through their reasonably priced menu when this Italian Chicken Sandwich caught my eye. A chicken sandwich on a roll, with marinara sauce and topped with mozzarella, sauteed onions, and loads of mushrooms. My stomach was starting to growl just reading off the ingredients.

Lunch couldn't come fast enough that day so I called El Novio and had him pick me up for some lunch just a tiny bit early. We managed to get there right before the crowd to set in. I ordered what I had planned on ordering and he ordered a bacon, mushroom hamburger and we also shared a small fry. His burger looked hearty and larger than The Counter's 1/3 burger he usually orders.

My sandwich on the other hand could have easily been shared between the two of us. With most things in life size can be everything but when it comes to food ,flavor counts too. My sandwich had both in it's favor. There were flavors busting out from all angles in my mouth after taking that first bite. I could taste the sauce, chicken, sauteed onions and oregeno-ie (yes that is a made up word) marinara sauce all at once in my mouth. El Novio almost ate half of it so I know I was not the only who enjoyed my sandwich as much as I did.

Needless to say I was not thrilled that I almost lost my wallet but am glad Slider's was able to turn that situation around for me by their incredible sandwich.

Thanks;)

Biggest sliders I've ever had in my life!

Menu:
I heard about this place from my co-workers and my first question was, why call it sliders when you don't server sliders?!? Every time I hear the name of this place, I think of tiny little bite size morsels they call sliders. Instead, you get what looks like 1/3 pound burgers. My take is if you call the name of the place sliders, server some sliders!

Besides the fact that they don't server sliders, the burgers are decent. They also serve bison and ostrich burgers here. I like the bison since is lean and not too dry. A great thing about this joint is that they have a big condiment bar from your typical tomatoes to sprouts.

Drinks:
Soda and they also have milkshakes.

Price:
I'd say its a bit expensive for a lunch. Onion rings and a bison burger with cheese ran me a little over $10.

Service:
Very friendly service with a big smile.

Ambiance:
Very casual counter service place. I like how the kitchen area is completely open so you can see how things are being cooked. the entrance can a be a bit crowded since the sitting area is at the back and you walk right up to the counter when you first walk in.

Location:
Located a couple doors down from See's candy in a plaza.

4 1/2 Stars (rounded up...obviously)

I finally got to find out what all the hype was about!!!
I've been hearing about this place so much on yelp, and about how this is the best burger spot in San Jose.
I think it might be......
Stopped by for an early dinner w/ my gf before I had to go to class and I ordered a mushroom burger w/ cheese and fried onions (w/ fries n a bottle of water) and my girl ordered a cheeseburger w/ chili cheese fries.
I was in a rush, so the 15+ minutes that it took for the burger seemed really long, but 1. it was worth it and 2. I got to watch some Ultimate Fight Night (i didn't even know it was on today!!!).
The guy that ran the place (maybe he was the owner) was pretty nice.
I thought the burger was better than Jeffrey's in San Mateo, but my girl thought Jeffrey's was a little better. We both agreed that the Chili here is waaaayyyyy better than Jeffrey's!
I'd have to eat both at the same time to be a fair judge, but so far I have Sliders and "Wrap This" tied for the best burger in SJ.
I'm sure I'll be back again......
Glad this place lived up to the hype!

Came here for dinner on Friday night.  There was a constant flow of people coming in getting burgers.  Burgers were cooked to order and burgers were cooked well.  The area is a desolate in the evening time, but I can see this place as a good lunch spot.

Oh man, I heart the bison burgers from this place - they're delicious (and not to mention leaner) and totally crave-able.

There's a condiment bar that has all the usual fixings (lettuce, tomato, onions) and then some fun ones like pickled jalapeno and sprouts. I REALLY like sprouts in my burger. Sauce wise - they've got the mustard, mayo, ketchup, bbq, and sriracha handy.

I load up my bison burger with lettuce, spinach, red onions, mayo, ketchup and of course - SPROUTS. For a little extra you can get avocado too.

Really - this place does very little wrong. If you're ordering fries, it's better to eat them there (or immediately in the car) because they get soggy in the bag if you're home is greater than 5 min. away. They have sweet potato fries too - can we say awesome!!!!

I love hamburgers.

Ever since I was little they've delighted my taste buds till my teen years when my mom put her foot down on their nutritional value and urged me away from them. It was a sad day. Needless to say, several years later plus a case of iron deficiency (thanks mom) I'm back on the burger train and, oh how I have missed it so.

The other weekend I Yelped to find a new burger in the area and boy was I pleased. The juiciness that trickled down my fingers along with the swirl of mustard and ketchup was a sure sign of a well-made burger. (The juicy trickle that spread from my hands to my face I am sure was also a pleasing site to my dinner companion.)

I enjoyed the 6oz. burger with cheese, layered with my choice of toppings (lettuce, tomato, and onion) from the handy choose-your-own condiments bar.

Conveniently with my boyfriend along, we were able to split a basket of the sweet potato fries and mint chocolate chip milkshake without feeling too guilty or overly stuffed.

Again, amazing.

Great service, great treats - I will definitely be back to get my burger/iron fix again soon!

i revisited my neighborhood burger shop, and had a much better burger.  With burgers, just a little too much or not enough grill time can make a huge impact.  All the burgers this time came out much better and tasted excellent.  The onion rings are way better than the fries as a heads up.

Upgrading my review to 4 out of 5!

Maybe I should have had the chili cheese dog here. Because this is the worst burger I have ever had in my life. I am wish I had my money back. I asked for medium rare, well it was burnt way overcooked and dry. It was like a dog chewy toy. The fries were soggy and undercooked, unedible. The condiments were iceburg,  raw mushrooms(?), and unripe tomato. Very horrible!

They should have a sign up that says:

"you can order what you want, but you will get what I give you"

After reading mostly positive reviews here, I decided to take a shot and go to this place.  The moment that I stepped into the place, I was immediately overwhelmed with so many choices on the menu board.  Then I noticed that there was a little note that said bison burger.  Hmmm...I think that I'll have one, which is what I did.  Pretty good burger.

The good thing about this place was that they don't starting cooking your food until after you have ordered, which is unlike the fast food joints.

It is a place to come, if you want something healthier.  And a place to come, if you are craving a burger.

I like how you get to put all your own toppings on the burger :-) I ordered the avocado burger, and it arrived well-done and neatly arranged with four carefully placed slices of avocado on top. I then took it to the burger accoutrements station, where I proceeded to assemble a neat, totally personalized avocado burger of my dreams.

These burgers really taste homemade, and that's what I love about them! If my family were to have a summer BBQ in the backyard, our burgers might taste something like this.

My date expressed discontent at how neat and bland these burgers were. I agreed with him that they lacked any special, unique flavor (it was no Fuddrucker's...), but they definitely had that smoky taste that signifies home grilling. He ordered the bacon burger, and was irritated by the weak, small pieces of bacon that came on it :( I, on the other hand, prefer the smaller and neater burger toppings because I can fit it in my mouth more easily and it doesn't spill all over.

To sum it all up: if you want a big crazy huge greasy burger with a buttery toasty bun (and sometimes you really just need to have one of those) you should go to Fuddrucker's or Carl's Jr. :-) BUT, if you're in the area and feeling like a good, basic homestyle burger, Slider's is a great lunch spot! You can get it to-go in a cute little burger box!

What's the first thing that comes to mind when I say bison?  Psycho Crusher (a.k.a. Flaming Torpedo).

And the second?  Fuddruckers, home of bison burgers and free jalapeño cheese.  Slider's is different from Fudds but solid in its own right.

I ordered a bison combo (burger, fries, fountain drink) with cheese.  It was plenty filling, though I'll admit I was super impatient and downed three cups of soda before the food came out.  Given a do-over, I'd save a couple bucks and just get the beef.  Pretty good value (see the menu photos others have posted).

The condiment bar is pretty loaded, with pineapple slices (not free at most places!), barbecue sauce, honey dijon, thousand island, and bleu cheese.  The one glaring shortcoming is a lack of hot nacho/jalapeño cheese.  (It may be unfair to expect that, but the Fudds comparison was as inevitable as the stomachache that comes with onion rings and jalapeño cheese.)

Service is friendly but limited.  There's no receipts given or names taken; the staff just does its best to remember who ordered what, I guess.  This dynamic could use some improvement.

There's a TV for watching sports... Sharks pocket schedules on the counter... plentiful parking... it's good times.  Psycho Crusher.

So I seen the Yelp loves us sticker in the window and after eating here I love it too.

I came at the recommendation of a friend and was not disappointed at all.

I ordered the Avocado burger with onion rings and a small drink and it came out to about 12 bucks. Then I went and waited for the food. It was cooked up pretty quick or maybe I didn't notice time pass since I was reading the paper. But it was quick as far as I am concerned and it was BIG. I adore the condiment bar where you can literally build your own burger. I fulled it with mayo srirachia lettuce tomatoes and onions.  then I got the honey mustard sauce for my onion rings.

NOW it was time to eat and that I did, it was so good. medium well cooked meat, juicy and flavorful and the avocado was soft and fresh, I do not have a single complaint. Oh and the onion rings were to die for the sauce I got for them was unnecessary, weekends are when I get to eat whatever I want and that is exactly what I did here and it was definitely worth it.

I will definitely be back and if I were you I'd go grab lunch there ASAP.

After my terrible Pho experience the other day, I do not want any soupy noodles for a lonnggg time. I was craving burgers yesterday and wanted a non fast-food spot like In-N-Out. So I searched all over yelp and drove 15 miles to try this place out.

I liked it! The burger is a solid three and I am adding an extra star for the super nice owner and the superb condiments bar. Unique stuff in the condiment bar includes, chopped pineapples, mushrooms, hamburger relish, sprouts, and more. Everything looks fresh too.

My avocado burger was $6. I added on the combo for soda and onion rings. My dining partner got the bison burger and thought it wasn't as juicy as mine, but keep in mind the bison also is more lean and has less fat than chicken! Insane. Dinner for two combos was about $20.

The onion rings were pretty good and fat fries were too. Both were just super greasy. Since I'm no longer a college kid who can eat loads of grease without feeling it, I think next time, I'll just stick to a burger and water, without the greasy/sugary extras.

I like how they toast the buns so it's nice and toasty on the sides. This place isn't amazing, but good for a solid burger. My was cooked medium, so the owner was fine with cooking it a bit longer for me since I wanted medium well.

Okay, so I've been oddly craving for Sweet Potato Fries.. and I turned to yelp because I needed to find places besides The Elephant Bar and The Counter..

My boyfriend and I decided to go on an adventure to Slider's Burgers (I wanted just the sweet potato fries) for dinner. Usually... I can never finish a burger unless I'm deathly hungry. We walked into Slider's and were immediately greeted by the cashier (he was really nice and welcoming). I ordered the #1 Combo which was a cheeseburger, drink, and fries for $6-7ish which wasn't too shabby.

I finally received my order and the sweet potato fries were cooked perfectly and I'm not just saying that because I was starving either.. I managed to eat everything (yay for calories).. then again I was watching the Lakers game on their t.v. soo, that might have played a part to me finishing up my food.

It's an amazing place and friendly people too!

It has been awhile since I have been here, but my experience with the food and service has generally been good.  First off, the burger and fries portion are pretty generous.  They are grilled (almost with a char flavor to them), not fried like your average fast food joint.  The fries seem to be cooked just right for me (although my wife doesn't care for them as much) - crispy enough and not too greasy.  The condiment bar is a plus so that you can customize your burger, but I usually like to keep mine simple.  And even though my family and I went there mainly for the burgers, their fried chicken was surprisingly good.  It didn't taste like KFC or Popeyes.  It was kind of unique (for this area atleast) that it had a buttermilk flavor/marinade to it.  The only minus was that the pieces were kind of small.

I have been looking for some good chilli cheese fries, so maybe I will give it a try here next time.  The best I have had is in L.A. at a place called Johnny's Pastrami on Sepulveda Blvd.  Anyone have anything close to it around here?

Anyway, the owner and son were very friendly and helpful.

A nice enough burger joint on San Carlos. They offer charbroiled patties, which are delicious. I had the beef and was more than satisfied. However, those who want try Bison or Ostrich (lean and full of protein) are welcome to here as well. But they are very pricey though. An ostrich burger is almost $10 (without fries or drink).

The prices are reasonable for just a good ol' beef patty. Well, reasonable enough until you start adding some of their more premium toppings like grilled mushrooms, bacon, fried egg, or maybe even avocado. So yeah, a $6 meal turns into a $10 meal pretty quickly.

You can always avoid this and take advantage of their full condiment bar where you can find pineapple rings, sliced mushrooms, relish, and other burger accessories.

The staff is friendly and helpful. The joint seemed clean enough. I'd recommend it as a lunch spot.

I can see myself coming here again. And when I do, I'll update.

I consider myself the worst vegetarian in the world because I make ridiculous exceptions for a lot of meat based foods. Slider's Burgers is now one of them. Honestly, what sane human being would pass up a BISON burger? Succulent, juicy, and tasty--with about half the calories and fat of beef! It's wonder meat!

So last weekend I strolled into Slider's for the first time with full intention of downing a whole bison burger with a side of fries and artificial lemonade. When browsing the menu, I spotted another patty that caught my eye. No, not veggie or salmon, but ostrich! Conflicted on what to eat, I had my friend order the ostrich and I ordered the bison. When the burgers were cooked, we split them down the middle and had half of each.

First of all, this place gets mad props for their condiment bar. I love a well stocked condiment bar as much as I love giving into my carnivorous instincts for burgers. Extra onions, thousand island, ketchup, mushrooms, pickles, no mustard, and a squirt of mayo... that's the way, uh huh, uh uhuh, I like it.

The bison burger was everything I hoped it would be. As if eating bison weren't glorious enough, it was grilled and seasoned to absolute perfection. I've only had one other burger in my life that was this perfect, and that was in Hawaii. What I liked best about the burgers is that it wasn't overly greasy and fattening feeling.

The ostrich burger was a-ok. I find ostrich--uh, meat--to be a little tough and dense. Figures. Ostriches don't look all that glorious to eat. My friend complained that it had a funky smell. I don't eat meat very often (note, I'm a flexible vegetarian) so I didn't really know what it was supposed to smell like.

Overall the place was good eatin'. My only complaint is that the burgers were not big at all! I could have easily eaten 2, if not for the combo with fries, and I'm a wee little girl.

"Sliders" is a misnomer, conjuring up images of White Castle mini-burgers. Instead, its a solid local hamburger serving-up diner.

I had a hankering for a hamburger for lunch. I wanted something straight forward and real. From what I had heard around Yelp, The Counter sounded too fru-fru. In 'n Out would have been too same old same old. I checked in with Yelp Mobile and it came up with Slider's.

Hamburger was nicely cooked with some juiciness still left in it. Fries were cooked to order with just the right amount of crispness on the outside. Toppings bar had everything I could have hoped for to make my burger just the way I wanted it.

Basic diner decor. seating area seemed a bit on the cold side compared to the weather outside. Otherwise, it was just the right ambiance for a decent burger joint.

Its worth adding to my regular lunch rotation. Unfortunately, Falafel's Drive In is also on the list. I'm not sure how often I'll be able to make it past Falafel's on the way to Slider's. Stay tuned...

I've heard from friends that Slider's have great burgers. We were in the neighborhood and I wanted to stop in to see what the fuss was about. My husband was in the mood for Korean but obliged to make me happy :)

Going by the name "Sliders" I was also expecting mini-burgers but after walking in and looking at the menu... there weren't any mini burgers on the menu. We did however see Bison and Ostrich.

We ordered Bison cheese burger combo substituting the fries with onion rings, fish & chips, hamburger combo and Tabasco chicken wings. Our food game out pretty quick. Slider's have a good selection of condiments. I chose mayo, mustard, ketchup, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles and mushroom for my burger and it tastes pretty good. The onion rings were a bit greasy for me. The fish & chips was decent. The fries was nice and crispy. Tabasco chicken wings packed a good kick.

The service was good. The cashier was very friendly and accommodating. Inside the restaurant you get a good burger joint feel. My husband liked the pictures that was on the walls. I'd come back again to try their other burgers if we were on this side of town.

Really good burgers - simple, straight-forward menu, not 1 burger w/ 20 different combos of toppings. Burgers - with or w/o cheese, on it's own or combo.  Load your own toppings (sprouts and fresh mushrooms - yum).

Good stuff - I'll be back, even if it is a 15m+ drive from the house!

Seeing that ROTD reminded me of my very BAD burger. Maybe I came on an off day, but it was so bad I will never come back. The burger I ordered medium rare was burnt, chewy, horribley overcooked and reminiscent of a charcoal disc. The condiment area was stocked with weird and horrible produce. Wilted iceburg, green tomatoes...never again.

I like Kirks and Burger Bar when I'm in the mood for a really good burger, since I can't fly to Vegas, well Kirks it is!

Just went here the other day, and you sure get a lot of food! I was starving so I grabbed the 8oz burger with onion rings. The staff was very nice and friendly. After you order you sit down and they bring out the burger to you and then you can go to the topping bar and get a ton of toppings on your burger.

The burger itself tasted great. In fact I was really hungry but couldn't even finish the whole thing, which for me is rare. The onion rings were also very good, i nabbed a few fries from my girlfriends plate and they were ok. Overall if you love burgers and have a big appetite then sliders burgers is a place you should check out.

When you're paying at the counter, you're thinking...Eight Bucks for a Burger Meal?!? But you really get what you pay for as you bite into that monster of a burger! The fries are good, the burgers are incredible...but wait, they even make it in front of you and they have a large selection to choose from! I've been around and about the area for the past 5 years, how can I have missed this joint!

This place is my favorite when I'm bored of In-N-Out and when I just can't have anything else but a burger. Now if they can just get rid of that weird smell, lol.

My friend recommended this place, so we went there. The burger was so good, tasted so fresh. The best thing is that all the condiments are self served.

Location wise, it's okay.

The best burger I've ever had in my life has been Slider's in San Francisco. I had no idea that this one had even existed, but I raced over there the moment I found out about it.

Seriously, I think my stomach is about to explode just from thinking about how much I love their bacon burger. And oh, how I love their condiment bar--I always have a bad habit of putting on too many toppings; consequently, my bun always splits apart and I have to eat the rest with a fork.

The owner is very kind and he waits patiently as his customers oogle at his menu, trying to decide if they want a salmon burger, chicken breast sandwich, a hot dog, or hmm... an angus burger or a regular one. What about chicken strips? Oh, now they have to choose between sides?! He always has good recommendations, and is nice to everyone who eats here, even if they are totally obnoxious and deserving to have someone smack them in the face with a big ol' wet pickle.

I got my wisdom teeth out two days ago, and I promised myself the day my stitches dissolve and I get that syringe thingie that flushes out the holes where my teeth were, I'm heading straight for Slider's to get a chicken breast sandwich with bacon, swiss cheese, red onions, lettuce, mustard, pickles and BBQ sauce on a toasted bun!! Mmmmm.... Better yet, I will pay someone to go over there right now and have one pureed for me.

Side note: they have good root beer floats and hot chocolates. Who would've thunk?

Don't even think of going to one of the nearby chains if you can go to Sliders.  The burger is fresh ground on site and these guys take their burgering seriously.  Sliders has one of those rare rotary charcoal grills like they folks at Hamburgers in Sausalito.  I got the 8 ounce burger combo with onion rings, fries and drink for $7.50. The onion rings and fries are just okay. This place is about the burger. The burger comes basic with the patty, cheese and bun. You can also get grilled mushrooms and onions that I wish had ordered when I saw someone else get them.  They have a fully outfitted condiment bar with all the usual sauces as well as lettuce, tomato and other topping options. The burger is great with a juicy patty tinged with a smokey flavor from the charcoal. The sesame bun is nicely toasted and springy.

The room is compact and clean with only 10 tables or so.  One can drive right by the place, but set the GPS so you don't miss it.

Absolutely the best burger I've ever had! This place looks like a hole in the wall but they must have some secret ingredients hidden in that hole. Their hamburgers are cooked perfectly every time!

The staff is very friendly. Prices are very reasonable too. Don't go to Juicy Burger, Burger King, McDonalds, Jack in the Box, Johnny Rockets, etc. Go to Sliders and get the best damn burger you've ever had!

Oh and if you don't like meat they have a great gardenburger for you grass eaters out there (grass EATERS not smokers pay attention ;)

Went here after Jeans Palace, why I was at Jeans Palace idk why.
It's not the nicest looking locations but it does it's job.
There were 2 workers but the food came out in a timely manner.
Tried the Bison Burger. I've heard of Bison before and figured why not, can't go wrong if it's a burger.
It had more flavor than your all american beef patty but i'd rather have beef than Bison.
The chicken wings were flavorful, I'd order them next time I visit a Slider's.
I liked the idea of a condiment bar... I totally was able to put a crap load of totally unnecessary extras on my burger... for free!!! yey!

I know... I know... I am on diet but damn, I was craving a burger!

I found this place on Yelp. Thanks Yelp!

It's in a sorta ghetto area but sometimes those hole in the walls are the best places to eat at.

The staff is very friendly & nice.

I was disappointed to see that the place is called Slider's but they did not have little mini burgers! That would have been awesome.

I ordered the Avocado Burger & Sweet Potato Fries. It was really super good! Freshly charbroiled on a very unique circular grill. Cool condiments bar with all sorts of toppings.

Definitely an excellent place to go if you are craving a burger and on a diet. =)

I was on a mission yesterday afternoon - to find an awesome hamburger. I wanted a restaurant style, so no fast food. I didn't care what the price or distance I would have to go to find it, but I needed one, ASAP.

After getting on Yelp, I saw many reviews for Sliders, which to my happy surprise was only 4 minutes away from where I live! YEAH! When I arrived at the location, it was in a sketchy strip-mall, but believe me, just look straight ahead and keep walking. It's worth it!

The people who worked here were friendly and very helpful. (They patiently determined if it was cheaper to get a cheeseburger with sweet potato fries separately or get them in a combo). The combo ended up being a better deal because you get it with a soda for only .40 more! I paid about $9 for a fresh, hot-off-the grill cheeseburger, sweet potato fries (yes they have these) and a Diet Coke. At Counters in Santana Row (where I was thinking about going) this would of been closer to 15-20 bucks easily.

I was really happy with this burger! I requested it to be well-done and it I think it was a bit too dry. Next time I'll try medium well. The sweet potato fries were AWESOME and my friend got onion rings which were huge, fried, and delicious! The best thing about this place is that you get to put on whatever toppings you want after they cook up the beef. I was a little hesitant (how long have these things been out, etc), but the topping area was clean and cold. I had no hesitations!

I'm sad that I've lived to close to this gem for so long and didn't realize it (but probably better for my waistline I didn't know about it)!! If you're in the market for a great burger that will not break the bank, this is your place! Only recommendation, don't have them over cook the meat!

The burgers are huge. The ingredients are fresh. Everything is cooked to order, and it takes five to ten minutes to get your order out. But it still feels only one notch above your average fraternity barbecue.

I think it might have something to do with the fact that the burgers are thin and very, very wide, which means that any burger coming off the grill will be cooked medium to well-done. Slider's is all about the condiments and what you can put on burgers, and they don't leave much room for actual enjoyment of the burger itself.
