For 60$/tax included on New Years eve this place was a phenomenal deal (we booked through http://hotelbook.com, seems to run in the 70-80$ range elsewhere). The furnishings were old but the room was clean and the staff friendly. Would have given it 5 stars for sheer value but there was no clock or remote control in the room. Nice location and much cheaper than anything else in the area. Plus the restaurant on-site was excellent (see my separate restaurant review). Would definitely stay here again next time I'm in the area.

One of the worst hotels that I've ever been to. The manager screamed at us to leave after we complained about our rooms being covered in mold. All he had to do was move us to a different, clean, room...I'm assuming that those don't exist at this wretched hotel.

Smelly, old, and noisy.  It would not be my first choice for a repeat visit.  But, the restaurant was good.

well, for what we payed...this is 5 stars.  under 50 bucks on new years eve is unbelievable.  the motel is up on this hill with a pretty great view.  the lobby was old school and smelled pretty bad.  they switched us to a room with a view with no problem.  the rooms were standard ghetto motel rooms...even lacking the freakin remote control and no clock.  wicked ghetto.  but i got to indulge my fantasy of sleeping in separate beds.  that's one thing i miss about single life.  sleeping alone is nice every once in a while.  i guess we'll be staying here every new years eve now that the ramble is a new family tradition.
