I went to the dentist yesterday....at least I'm pretty sure it was the dentist. I got a cleaning and check up as I would at any other office but in a lot more comfort. The office is very stylish and welcoming but it's once you sit in the chair that they really show you how it should be done. A heated neck pillow, gently massaging chair and a movie of my selection made me forget where I was. They truly take note of what is good for the patient. This includes everything from shades, so the light doesn't bother you, to thoroughly explaining x-rays and what's generally going on.
Everyone should go here, unless of course, you're a sadist. -

I feel so jipped when I think about my previous dentists compared to Dr. Do. Her office is AMAZING in every way. Paper less? Better for environment? You got my attention there. I'm a big tree hugger. Even for those who are not tree huggers, think about how convenient it is and cheaper when they can just email your X-rays to specialists when you need more work done.
I just got new insurance and new job, so I was in the market looking for new dentist. I cannot believe I missed out on this one. I live in Milpitas! What a gem!
The office is amazingly clean. I love everyone in here. I loved watching Friends while Dr.Do worked on my teeth. I love how she took the time to explain every X-ray to me and tell me what I will eventually need to do to fix my issues. She didn't just tell me, she explained. Really took her time for cleaning.
I walked out of there with a lot of issues, but I was motivated to fix them, because she told me the consequences, if I don't.
The location can be hard to find. Only negative if you're new, but if you have a smart phone, you're fine.
Tip: if you need to go before work, they open really early, too. 7:30 AM EARLY. I don't know if it was just Friday only, but it is an option!
I walked out with a reusable zip mag with gum, toothbrush, toothpaste, and her business card. I thought the bag was a nice little touch.
I referred my coworker to this place because of my experience, and I get a personal written card thanking me for my referral with Starbucks gift card. Totally didn't expect it, but was pleasantly surprised to see it. This just shows how much thoughts goes into her practice.

Dr. Do is really a quality dentist who cares about her patients and providing good care. I could go on and on but you can read everyone else's review, it's pretty much what they said. So I won't share about my cleaning and exam experience there.
I do want to share a complication I had and what happened, though. We were told that our routine cleaning and exam would be covered 100%. A month after the cleaning, however, I got a bill in the mail for $258. Due to us being out of network, our insurance didn't cover the whole thing and we were now responsible for the difference. You can imagine how angry I was. I found out that this is actually quite common and that they can hold you to the charges or send you to collections if you don't pay. Yes, shady, I know!
Anyway, I accepted that fact and was hoping to just get her to lower the amount, maybe to $150 and never come back again. I have to admit, I did leave a pretty angry message on her voicemail but nevertheless she called me back first thing in the morning and told me that she would waive the charges, the whole thing.
So I just wanted to share that, since I have had my run-ins with arrogant business owners and health providers and it's just refreshing that I didn't have to get into it w/her.
Because of that, it's still a four-star rating (sorry to ruin the perfect rating!! I felt peer pressured to give it five, but I have to be honest. I just had to minus one for the aggravating bill and the whole mix up). But if it weren't for that, it's still five stars. If we were in-network and it didn't cost us $200 (even with our current insurance) to go there, no doubt this would have been our family dentist as long as we live in Milpitas! -

LOOK NO FURTHER. This IS and will be the last dental office you will go to. Staff are very friendly and informative. Dr. Do is sweet, kind, and very detailed in clearly explaining your specific dental treatment needs. The massage chairs, the movie/tv show of choice (that help distract you from that FEAR of dentist), & the amazing and up-to date technology used in this facility...was beyond ANYTHING I had expected to experience when I
originally made this appointment.

So its been about a year or so now and going to Skye Dental is still the best dental experience I think anyone could have considering you are still - going to the dentist - but its possible you might forget that fact here. I've decided its about time to update my review to be really useful for people who haven't been here before since like some of the other reviews have mentioned its difficult to describe how pleasantly surprised you are after going here each time.
OFFICE:

So almost everyone that has reviewed this office (including myself) has probably mentioned how new and modern it is, not to mention all the high tech amenities. However, some of the other things that are nice about this office which isn't mentioned as much is that its in a fairly quiet office park which is great because you don't have to worry about having to spend 20 mins just to find parking at some shopping mall or something. Also, since every person working at this office currently happens to be female (not just the boss) the restroom is nice and clean and girl or guy, anyone can appreciate a clean restroom (seat down guys...its just respectful).
TECHNOLOGY:

So the website kind of speaks for itself but there are still some high tech details that aren't mentioned. One of the most important ones for me has been the way appointments are scheduled for you - every other dentist office I've ever been to calls me and gives little reminder cards as well but this is the first one that sends me reminder emails and also lets me confirm my appointments by clicking a link in an email. I work at a high-tech company and plan my day from my Outlook calendar and with my smartphone so being able to use those things to help me remember my dental appointments just makes sense. (who really remembers much of anything 6 months out?). The LCDs, movies/tv shows, massage chairs, oral/x-ray cams, and various other dental gadgets are obviously great too.

So I already mentioned a year ago when I first wrote my review how much thought Dr. Do and her staff put in to making each patient feel comfortable. But on top of that they even try to keep track if you referred a friend to them and thank you for doing that as well. Considering all the 5-star reviews they already get, the word-of-mouth referrals don't even seem all that important. You're welcome to try finding a better dentist/dental office - but just know you'll be wasting your time and money.
My next visit will be to replace more old ugly fillings that I've had since I was a kid but despite knowing its going to be a bit painful, I'm still looking forward to my next scheduled visit after New Year's!

If you read Yelp, then you like great food, customer service, atmosphere, etc. So for taking care of your mouth so you can enjoy all that great food and drink it makes sense that you'd choose the same for your dental needs. No need to look any further then Skye... great competent staff, the latest equipment and expertise, spa experience and no pain whatsoever. The whole movie experience is frosting on a great cake that is Skye Dental. So whether in Milpitas, Palo Alto or South San Jose, it's most definitely worth the trip!

I really like this awesome place! Tuyen (Dr. Do) smells really good, is sooo gentle,and is the best looking and most pleasant dentist I have been too. Hey it's way better to be in her dental chair and have Dr. Do's gentleness, warmth, and easy on the eyes everything, examining your mouth in close proximity, than at a hairy nostril-ed and not as gentle dentist.
Also, I like the warm heated towel on my shoulders as I lay in the awesome massage chair with big sunglasses on. You can watch the latest movies and tv shows too!
The office is super lux and modern. I just like being there! It's like being in a serene modern spa but add in shiny white teefers too!
Oh and Dr. Do will film your teeth and you can see what they look like on the underside! it's pretty cool. Skye Dentistry is state of the art everything, covered by my regular work dental benefits, and my teeth look good. : ) -

Skye Dental is AMAZING! I just spent the last 40 minutes on a massage chair, with an aromatherapy neck pillow, tinted shades to protect my eyes from the fluorescent lighting, and an episode of CSI: Las Vegas playing, all while getting my grill cleaned and polished! I felt so pampered!
Dr. Do and staff are extremely personable and caring. The office is very modern and soothing. I highly recommend Skye Dental to anyone. :) -

Skye Dental is a fantastic place to get your teeth worked on. Like all reviews on here, not many people are fans of going to the dentist. Every one dreads it, and if you don't... you are either lying or already a current patient of Skye.
Once you walk into the office, you notice the atmosphere is very calming. Not your usual dental office where you have white walls and old painting of trees and landscape. It's very contemporary with state of the art technology to back it up. The chair you sit on while they work on your teeth has a back massage. You even have the choice to watch a movie or listen to music on your very own TV. They try to deflect the negative thinking of you going to the dentist and it just works.
Not only you feel comfortable while you're there, Dr. Do and Nikki the hygienist are very professional and nice. My teeth has been cleaned, xrayed and modified and I never had an issue. If I had questions or concerns, Michelle (Patient Care Director) would always answer them accordingly. -

I can't help but rave to everyone about my experience here! The reasons why you should visit here are endless, but let me break it down for you:
1. X-rays and photos of each section of your teeth are thoroughly explained by Dr. Do; She's really the the most informative and empathetic dentist I've ever visited. The explanation really helps break down how well you're maintaining your teeth and what to change.
2. You're given a warm neck pillow when you're lying down for teeth cleaning, but that's not all! (look at 3)
3. A recent movie, i.e Prince of Persia, The Back up Plan or Disney movies are played, your choice of course, and you listen to the movie with big comfy earphones while the procedure is being done.
4 . As soon as you think that it couldn't get more luxurious, a back massager is activated. SO GREAT!
The pleasant staff and ambiance is pure quality and dentistry at it's finest. She's redefined the whole dental experience for me and i can't even express how badly i want you visit and see this for yourself. If all dentist were like Dr. Do, I'm 100% sure that we would be walking around with smiles better than the celebrities. I'm telling you, 1.5 hours never seemed so short and although i shouldn't feel this way, I seriously can't wait to come back again! -

I thank Dr. Do for helping me keep my teeth clean and shiny!
Regular dental cleanings and check-ups are important components of maintaining your overall health.
The equipment is state of the art - I was amazed as to how comfortable and at ease I felt during my last cleaning. I appreciated her explaining what she had found in the x-rays she had taken - thankfully, no cavities, but there were places that we needed to watch to make sure that there were no future problems. Dr. Do is easy to talk with and was patient in answering all my questions. She is professional, knowledgeable, personable and gentle.
The chairs have a little massaging action - I almost took a little snooze while she was working on me. I even got to watch Pirates of the Caribbean on the flat screen TV!
I felt like I had a spa treatment instead of having my teeth cleaned.
Want those pearly whites to gleam?

I wish I could give this place 10 million stars!!
Dr. Do is amazing, gentle, and very informative just like everyone has said. I wanted to find a new dentist that was closer to my house. I was seeing Dr. Karen Ho (http://www.yelp.com/bi...) who is amazing as well, but completely on the other side of town.
Skye Dental is a beautiful office, very serene, modern, and well designed. Its also very high tech and forward thinking. The x-ray machines are all digital which enables Dr and patient the opportunity to see things in X-rays traditional x-rays cannot view.
The experience starts off with her dental assistant, Michelle, getting you all prepped and good to go with a very informative video on dental hygiene. It almost reminded me of that employee safety video you would watch on your first day on a job. After that Dr. Tuuyen begins the medical exam, shows me my X-rays, and explains to me my x-ray, and in depth which was great. I really care about my smile and teeth and I try to be as anal as possible. So, to be informed with everything going on in my mouth was something well appreciated.
Now to the nitty gritty. Before my cleaning started I was handed a video menu. "I CAN WATCH MOVIES while getting my teeth cleaned!!" OKAY that is a freaking treat! When you're a able to kill two birds with one stone, it feels amazing!!
I can't wait for my next cleaning...Thanks Dr. Do I've already referred a few of my co workers to you.Listed in: Get BEAUTIFIED!!!

Dang this Dentist rocks!!!!
If you know me I hate going to the dentist But i'm going to see this one when she wants me because i know she does care. X-rays can take you a while Michelle can do it in 10 minutes they got high tech stuff here it's a trip. TV's and all.
Dr. Do took the time to show the pictures and x-rays and explains what is going on and the procedure that she'll be doing and what to expect. Michelle and Dr. Do big props to you I found a place to SMILE ;-) ABOUT....... -

I think I've finally reached dental heaven and found my dental saviour after years of dental purgatory. Dr. Do is gentle, friendly, attentive and extremely knowledgeable. You know she truly wants her patients to have a pleasant experience.
Dr. Do's office is not your typical sterile dental office. It is warm, open, tranquil and inviting. She's got all the high tech dentistry gadgets including a digital x-ray machine. I was also able to watch part of the Inauguration on the monitor while I was getting my teeth cleaned. There were also a selection of movies that you could choose from. It's obvious that Dr. Do wants her patients to be as comfortable as possible as she provided sunglasses to offset the glare from the overhead lights. In addition, the dental chairs were also massage chairs!!
All in all a divine experience! -

Almost 2 years ago I remember seeing the first images of Skye Dental Center in it's infancy while it was still under construction. I thought to myself, 'How cool it that? It really looks like someone's dream come true!' After visiting and experienceing Skye for myself, I have to say that's exactly what it feels like down to every last detail! From the wonderful insight of Dr. Do and helpful support of Michelle, to the state-of-the-art equipment in every corner of the their office, every experience I've had at Skye Dental has been nothing short of amazing.
Before going to see Dr. Do, I went to the same dentist for almost 25 years. Not that they were bad, but going to see the team at Skye Dental is like a breath of clean, crisp, and fresh air! Which by the way, is exactly how your teeth will feel after you go see them. I live in the south bay and never imagined with the plethora of dentistry offices down here I'd have to drive to Milpitas to get my teeth cleaned, but I must say it's beyond worth it! Give them a call and don't be afraid to leave your old dentist behind. Your mouth will thank you! -

I just had my first appointment with Dr. Do at Skye Dental Center today, and I loved everything about my experience! As soon as I walked in I was greeted by Dr. Do's friendly assistant Michelle. As I filled out my new patient paperwork I was offered a cup of hot tea :)
Dr. Do welcomed me to the office and brought me back to the exam room. They were extremely attentive and eager to make my experience comfortable. Dr. Do put sunglasses over my eyes to shield them from the overhead lights, and she placed a blanket over my legs (she could tell I was cold). One of the nicest things about her office is that you can listen to your personal choice of music during the exam, or you can select a movie to view on a flat screen TV that hangs above. That part alone was great and made the time fly by :)
Dr. Do was great about explaining details about what she was doing every step, and also what I should know about the condition of my teeth.
I promise to floss more Dr. Do :) A huge thank you (to you and your staff) for making this my best dental experience yet! -

I've been a long time patient of Dr. Do's, and it's really exciting to see her open her own practice! My first appointment at Skye Dental was a wonderful experience, and as usual I was given 5-star treatment (out of 5 stars of course). She is definitely the type of dentist that will give you the utmost attention and care. I've been to other dentists that work on too many patients at the same time, and I would end up sitting in the chair staring into space while waiting for them to come back.
After I settled into the exam room, I was given a pair of sunglasses to help shield my eyes from the overhead dental lights. It sounds like something so small and simple, but it makes a big difference. My personal favorite is being able to watch a movie during the exam. There was a good variety of movies to choose from. It makes the time fly by and your appointment is over before you know it.
As for the dentistry, Dr. Do is top notch. With other dentists, I usually brace myself for some slight pain/discomfort during exams. However, with Dr. Do this was not necessary. She was very gentle and thorough, and I didn't feel any discomfort at any time.

You'll definitely receive a caring, thorough, and relaxing visit at this dental office. The office staff is extremely friendly and always welcoming with a smile. Which is great, especially if you get nerves going to the dentist like me. Sometimes it can be nerve wracking to know what's going on with your teeth. Whether it's going to be good news or bad news that you'll hear, or even if it's a visit for a procedure that requires anesthesia with a needle. Anyhow, they are attentive to this and respond very quickly to ease any tension that you may have. First, they offer an aromatherapy neck pillow. It's very warm and soothing. Second, the chair you lay back on is a massage chair! I was so surprised when I found this out...who would've known you can get a spa like experience at the dental office?! Third, you don't have to worry about the oh so bright lights that shine on your eyes because they give you shades to wear so that doesn't happen! Fourth, they have a variety of movies and music that you can watch or listen to. Aside from how comforting the place makes you feel, Dr. Do is very thorough at explaining the details of your teeth, i.e. how it's changed from previous visits, what area(s) of your teeth needs attention, and what you can do at home to help keep your teeth healthy. I really like how she's so into detail. She fixed a filling that was done so badly by my previous dentist years ago. She made sure it was even and smooth, that you couldn't see that it was there. I now go for regular cleanings and Niki, her hygienist, offers the same care as Dr. Do. I also like how they tell me what they're planning on doing with my teeth before they begin so there isn't any surprises. I'll be going in soon to have some repair work done, but I'm not the least bit worried, as I know I'll be taken care of. If you're like me who has a fear of going to the dentist...this place is the place to go. You'll come in feeling calm, go through the dental work with less ease, and leave stress free.

I just laid back and started watching a movie, and next thing you know my teeth were clean! I'll have to come back and finish my movie. -

I finally found a dental center I plan on sticking with for as long as I can! Dr. Do is friendly and informative. Michelle, Nikki and Thinh are great. They are all awesome!
Dr. Do goes over images of your teeth. Nikki does an excellent job cleaning teeth. I highly believe she cleaned my teeth better than any other hygienist or dentist who I have visited. I couldn't believe how white and clean they looked! The icing on the cake would be how great of a job they did and my appointment was completed under an hour!
Other pluses are the spa-like feel, massage chairs, warm neck pillow, cleanliness and movies/shows you get to watch while they clean your teeth. -

Dr. Do is an amazing person and the shiznit, her staff has stellar customer (patient) service and the office is a dream come true!
Hmmm, let's start w/ the Dr.:
Of course all doctors are knowledgeable, right? That's how they became a doctor. Well Dr. Do likes to share her knowledge :) If you ask her a question about anything regarding your dental hygiene she will answer in simple explicative words. I love how thorough she is w/ her cleanings or any other service, maybe it's due in part that shes a female and is very detailed, careful and oh so gentle. Also did I mention that she explains every step? I think I'm ready to be a dentist myself! She's taught me so much. And I love that's she's a young Dr. so she's open to new stuff, new technology etc.
The staff:
Wow! they are friendly, & they actually do their job with a smile. They let you know every detail about your insurance and if you ask them a question that they don't already know (which would be rare) they will go out of their way to find out for you! No surprises, if you know what to ask they will know what to tell you. Everyone knows that insurance can be a nightmare to deal with, and they are so detailed that you will walk out of there worry free.
The office:
Deserves a review all by itself. It has state of the art everything! It has a true spa feeling and look to it, it's so serene yet so high tech. They have plasma TV's in waiting areas and above patient chairs and they'll play a cute movie for you. They have massage chairs in every room, how cool is that? I thought I was at a spa! Their X-ray machine is the most awesome thing ever, you don't have to stick those huge yucky plastic things in your mouth, the machine is literally like a camera and non invasive. All of our patient files are in digital form so Dr. Do can go back and show you what's in your file on the screen above your head while you're laying in the massage chair! They have a cool sharpie sized camera that shows you everything in your mouth which I thought was awesome yet kind of scary. eeeekkkk there's things in there I've never seen! As she takes the pictures, she stops to show you each shot and tells you what's going on in each of those pictures and what needs work or just simply beautifying.
I was so amazed with the beautiful office and pleased with the stellar service. More so happy that Dr. Do won't be retiring any time soon because I'm going to be coming here for a long long time.
Dr. Do Just wants everyone to have a beautiful and healthy smile, cheers to that!
Oh yeah, that's one thing I wish I had when I was in the massage chair is a nice fruity cocktail. But being in a dental office I'm not sure if that would fly with the Dr. -I'm juuuuust saying, it would be nice. LOL -

As for the experience itself, what a freaking great dentist. Massage chairs, Planet Earth on the TV screen, a warming neck pillow, sunglasses and a pair of earphones.
My cleaning was quick and painless, and Dr. Do even takes before and after pictures so you can see the results instantaneously!
Highly recommended!!! -

I knew Dr. Do was the dentist for me when I went to her for a second opinion. Prior to meeting with her, I was a new patient at a large practice where in which they were recommending that I needed some costly work during my first visit them. That dentist only spent a few minutes with me and then had me shuttled over to some guy sitting near the checkout desk, who then proceeded to show me gross and scary pictures of what would happen to me if I didn't have the procedure they were recommending. Mind you this guy never even read my chart or looked in my mouth. If their goal was to freak me out, then they certainly succeeded. If it was so important why didn't the dentist himself educate me about this? What were this man's credentials? The method of presentation seemed a little sleazy to me. I felt like all they wanted was my money. So that's when I sought a second opinion and met with Dr. Do.
If you want a highly educated, very knowledgeable dentist that genuinely cares about your well being, then Dr. Do is the one for you. Even when her office is full of patients, you never feel rushed and she takes the time to listen and address your questions. She also takes the time to explain what she is doing or needs to be done. She maintains a non-judgmental attitude even when my compliance with the treatment plan hasn't been 100% (i.e. flossing, wearing my invisalign trays...). But then takes the time to educate about the importance of the plan and her recommendations. One thing that I like best about Dr. Do is that she is always professional but approachable. She always has a smile on her face. As an RN, I know how important it is to trust and have a good relationship with your healthcare provider. That's why I continue to seek my dental care from Dr. Do, eight years after I originally sought that second opinion. -

Why is 5 stars the most?
Many people HATE the dentist... yes, hate is a strong word but you won't be saying that at this place. I LOVE SKYE DENTAL! Basically, you know that Dr. Do is going to take care of your teeth and make you feel comfortable and relaxed (almost like being at the spa). You can watch a movie with a head set while being massaged in the chair... yeah, seriously. Michelle, the Patient Care Director, is also really friendly. They are very professional, friendly, and just make the whole dental experience a pleasure! Even though I've moved out of the area, I will continue to make the drive to Milpitas because Skye Dental cannot be replaced! -

Dr. Do was my dentist way back before she opened Skye Cosmetic Dental Center of Milpitas. She oversaw my Invisalign treatment, which meant that I saw Dr. Do every 6 weeks for about 2 years. Over the course of that time, I grew to LOVE my dental appointments. And, full disclosure, Dr. Do and I became friends. But, we didn't just become friends because Dr. Do is an extremely laid-back, good-humored, and exceptionally comforting person to be around. It was also because she's a genuinely good person (it's obvious) and someone I feel like I can trust. Too many dentists these days have become greedy, trying to push unnecessary procedures on patients, turning dental visits into an assembly line money factory. Too many dental offices skimp on hiring quality personnel and maintaining the comfortable and personal touch that's so essential when you're going in to have something as unnerving as dental work done.
I can't say enough good things about Dr. Do and her commitment to helping people have beautiful teeth. At the end of my invisalign treatment, she noticed that my lower front teeth weren't quite perfect -- they had aligned themselves very nicely, but weren't quite at exactly the same height. She asked if she could extend my treatment in the hopes of improvising a way to perfect my vertical alignment. Now, mind you that I had already paid for my treatment in full. She wasn't getting any extra money out of doing this. And, she could have -- entirely appropriately -- decided to conclude my treatment because the vertical alignment discrepancy was really pretty minor. It was just in her nature to prioritize the most minute detail of perfecting my smile, regardless of whether that meant footing the bill for a few extra sessions herself.
If you live anywhere near Milpitas, I highly recommend going to see Dr. Do for any of your dental needs. To me, dental excellence is as much about trust as it is about quality work, and I've been extremely happy with Dr. Do in both arenas.

I have been going to Dr. Do since the practice first opened, the visits are always pleasant and the staffs are very professional. They have the most up to date high tech equipments I have ever seen.
It's also the little things they provide while you get your treatment that makes you feel special. You can choose to watch movie while you get your treatment or just relax on the dental chair while it gently massages your back, you can almost fall asleep with the neck warmer they put on you. It really feels like you are going to a spa vs a dental appt. You feel refresh after the whole experience!
Our whole family now goes to Dr. Do including the kids. They love going there because after their appt, they get a treat from the treasure box! -

I am relatively new to the Bay Area. I am SO glad I decided to do my first check-up with Dr. Do. All the reviews were right, I found my new dentist! The place is like dental spa, if there is such a thing. I will be coming back often!
When you walk in, you are greeted by the staff and the are very friendly and personal. The office is new, clean and very modern.
Being my first visit, the took me back to do some x-rays and pictures. I am in the high tech industry and the equipment in their office is state of the art. The chair you sit in is the most comfortable seat I have ever experienced at any dentist office. After they took x-rays and pictures, the doctor goes through your images and dental history with you. Dr. Do is very easy to talk to and you can tell she pays attention to detail.
While they were doing my check-up and cleaning, I got to watch On-Demand TV shows or movies while the seat massages you. There was NO pain at all! They give you hot towels and you really feel like you are being pampered, which is not what I typically experience at the dentist.
I am looking forward to going back and building a great relationship with my new favorite dentist! Thanks Dr. Do! -

I went to Dr. Do after a referral from my fiance. I haven't been to the dentist in a couple of years and I was pretty apprehensive about going back to the dentist after so long. But when I got there, the place looked beautiful and was so welcoming! Dr. Do was so nice and made me feel at ease. I have a very small mouth and she was able to work with it much better than any other dentist I've been to. She was super friendly, thorough, and fast! It also helped that there was a TV in the room and I was able to relax a little bit during it. I would definitely refer her to everyone!!

This is the first time ever that I write a review online. I was compelled to write the review because of the experience I had at Skye dental.
I had my first visit to Skye dental this past Monday. I was really impressed by the office, the staff, and the entire experience. The place was a little hard to find at first because there's no sign out front. My appointment was at 10:30. I was greeted by Michelle and didn't have to wait long (less than 2 min) at all. The office was new and tastefully decorated with a very a Manhanttan look. I was due for a full x-ray, so that was my first stop. The equipment was very new and extremely high tech. For the X-ray, they have this machine that you stand in front of and it took less than a minute for the machine to take a full mouth X-ray. After the X-ray, for the cleaning, I was presented with a heated neck pillow and given a choice of movies to watch while the dentist chair was gently massaging my back. Dr. Do was super friendly and nice. She was very pleasant. She took the time to answer all my questions and provided me with info. My old dentist didn't even spend 1 min with me when I go in for cleaning. Dr. Do even did the cleaning herself. Again, instead of prodding and scrapping, they use a rotating tool and water to clean my teeth. I know all these little things are nice, but that's not probably not enough reason to pick a dentist. You pick a dentist because they are honest and know what he/she is doing. Dr. Do was very honest. When I asked her about bleaching my teeth, she explained all the options. My previous dentist suggested that I do an in office whitening visit since the at home whitening tray was not working for me. I also asked her about some prescription strength flouride which is what my previous dentist had recommended. She could have easily sold this to me, but told me that I don't need to use it, except occasionally when I need it for sensitivity. She also really seems to know her stuff!
It is rare to find someone like Dr. Do and Skye Dental. Michelle was very professional and courteous. I was blown away by the entire experience. I would highly recommend anyone to Dr. Do and Skye Dental.
For years, I've been going to a dentist by my house. It's an older office in a Victorian house. The dentist was ok, but he doesn't have the latest equipment. What made me decide to look for a new dentist was he asked another dentist to take over the practice for him and twice I had to wait for 30 min before they can see me. -

Dr. Do, in addition to being extremely capable and up to date on her craft, is the most patient and personable dentist I've ever gone to. I was late for a couple of appointments.....due to extenuating circumstances....and she still didn't stick me with the elephant-sized needle. Her assistant is also awesome and I highly recommend them.
