Seriously, such a simple concept - people bouncing up and down and all around - you think it wouldn't work.  But, it does. Oh, yes . . . it does.

My friend and I played hooky from work yesterday afternoon and went over there to work off some steam.  We really didn't know what to expect except for some trampolines in a room.  What we got was a trip back to our 6 year-old selves.

I had no idea how much fun it was just to bounce . . . up and down . . . over and over!  Your inner child comes leaping out: you start doing tricks, running from trampoline to trampoline, daring your friend to jump on the trampoline walls - a hard skill to master, btw.  Before you know it, 1 hour has passed and you have to return to your adult self

A couple of notes of interest:  do not eat before you bounce and ladies, make sure you wear the extra supportive bra (lots of things bounce when you're bouncing).  Also, it is an amazing workout - I was sweating like a little pig by the end of the hour!

Also, be aware of the cost and times before you go.  You pay ahead of time per hour of bounce.  At $9 an hour ($6 for each subsequent hour) it can be a bit pricey if you're going with a group or family.  And depending on the time of day, your court may have more children in it than at other times.  Not that that's a bad thing. . .but . ..

To be honest, I wasn't sure what to expect at a trampoline gym.

It turns out that it's a lot of fun.

When I was younger I had dreams of a place like this... and now it's a reality!

What a fun place! Great exercise and a ton of fun! You can let go and just jump! It's not just for kids..adults and big kids alike can have a blast! I went for the first time a few weeks ago. It was about 10:30 at night and the place was still pretty busy! It was a spur of the moment idea so we didn't have the right jumping outfits on but we made do with what we had on!

There were two different trampoline areas. The first one was closed and I believe it's for the small ones. The other side had two big areas one with free jump and the other with dodge ball going on. What a blast! It was fun watching the people who spend way too much time here do back flips from section to section.

The staff was friendly and professional.

My only compliant is that the water fountain was at  the completely other side of the building (which is pretty far when you just want a sip of water)

What a great time! It is a bit ruff if you fall down but the workers are great. Try and go on a time when all the little kids are at school or asleep if you are older but great place for your kids b-day parties too

Worked the body hard today!  This place is a sweating machine!
The kids will be pumped up after this place-- bring lots of water.
Dodge ball is fun for the kids a little too crazy for the old momma!

OMG this is the most fun I've had in a very long time. The entire place is a huge trampoline complex (4 arenas, actually, separated by age). Entire floors of connected trampolines (like, basketball court sized) and slanted trampoline walls so you can jump to your hearts content for $9 per hour.

We jumped while listening to crappy top 40 music but that didn't really matter. The only difficult part was feeling too damn old for any of this. We saw all these small children jumping for hours on end. We jumped like crazy but were ready to collapse after 15 minutes. Still continued jumping and had amazing fun for the next hour, however.

Remember when you were 6 years old and could play for hours and hours and were always upset when your parents would say "Mommy needs a break." Well I totally understand what they went through. now. My god that was an intense workout (they also offer AIR-obics classes for $5 per session.)

But the main reason we all knew we were too old for this place--the main thought of every female participant was "wow, that safety staff worker is hot." Like, he was crazy hot and did 14 backflips in a row (because what else do you have to do when you work here aside from practice). We thought, "this would be boring to work here... but the trampolines might be fun after hours..."

Yup, bad thoughts from an innocent family friendly place prove that we really were too old for this.

I tried the AIRobics class on Saturday.  It kicked my butt.  I thought I was going to die.  Surprisingly, there were quite a few teenagers (boys and girls), and a good mix of other ages.   I would try it again and would like to bring my son back for an afternoon.

Besides the hard work-out, I actually fell flat on my face when I first stepped on the tramp - I expected it to be stiffer than it was.  Also, the charge was $2 more than advertised both on their website, on the flyers and wall advertisements on the facility walls ($7 vs. $5).  I would have asked for my $2 back, but I was too worn out to do anything but limp out to my car.

Good fun, a lil' pricy per hour ($8), wish they had more specials like buy one hour get one free -- I found a coupon in the Entertainment Book for buy-one get one for another guest during the same hour. I'm an adult, and I don't have kids so I probably won't frequent this establishment. I will say one thing though, it is super fun to cream those little kids in dodge ball :D Dodge Ball with trampolines is awesome. It is a great workout, my legs were wrecked the next day.

The concept of an entire warehouse full of trampolines is a dream come true.

However the employees here are total douche bags. And it's expensive.

I'm still high off this place...

Sky High Sports is one of a kind.  Well, two of a kind, technically...But one of a kind in Sacramento.  I've been here twice and I've found that if you go after 9:30 you can miss the rush of junior high kids.  (Maybe you guys can fix this by adding some more jumping areas for the "grown up" kids?  Please?  We like jumping, too!)  But yep, pretty standard pricing - $9 for one hour.  But I saw posters advertising $10 for two hours on Wednesdays?

The staff is pretty chill.  They follow the rules, and they're all pretty professional for what seems like high school kids.  And yeah, the whole no shoes thing can be kind of gross, but it's like going to the gym - you just deal for the moment and sanitize later.

If you want to do something fun with your silly friends and can make the drive out, this place is DEFINITELY a must try.  Just don't do it on a full stomach.

(Also, after you're done with jumping on the trampolines, try jumping on solid ground - you'll feel so ridiculous.)

Frogs. Kangaroos. Certain beans from Mexico. David Lee Roth..........I'm talking about things that jump!

I've been saving this one up my sleeve for a rainy or otherwise bad weather day ever since I read Jeffrey's and Melanie's reviews. Every day this last week was a "spare the air" day, and my kids have been cooped up inside during school. Kids (and adults) with pent up energy need a place to burn it off.

But not to worry -- there's Sky High Sports, a clean trampoline facility for all ages, with a separate jumping area for ages eight and under.

The first hour's worth of jumping is $9. You may reserve a jump time very easily on their website, prepay, and just pick up your wristband when you enter.

There are multiple jumping areas but we kept our four and five year olds in the kids' section. The jumping areas are networks of trampolines placed together with protective padding over the edges. There are sidewalls that you may bounce off as well. Needless to say, our kids had a blast!

Toddler Tuesdays 11AM - 2PM for $5/hr.

It's not all jumping; there is also a snack area and some arcade games.  Dodgeball, volleyball, "airobics" classes, and birthday parties occur here as well.

Great hours, too: Sunday through Thursday - 11AM to 10PM; Friday and Saturday - 11AM to midnight.

Might as well jump! Go ahead and jump....

Wowzers! After a nice dinner out with friends this weekend we ended up with a party of 6 here with a 10 year old and a 3 year old. What a great time for the entire family. for $9 an hour the grown ups were able to get a huge workout and the kids were able to prepare themselves for a good nights sleep. there are multiple jumping areas that include a big kids jump area, a dodge ball court, am 8 and under kids jump area and a kids dodge ball area.

They have pool tables, arcade machines, air hockey, vending machines, lockers and a snack bar. What I am getting at is that you should probably come with more than $9 for each person, because a locker is almost a must considering you cant bring anything on to the trampolines, including a hat. Which is a good idea because we don't need stuff flying all over the place. You can either jump bare foot or you can choose to use your shoes. They will not allow just socks because it will become more slippery. Safety is a good thing and it is good to see that they pay close enough attention to such things (Minus the over flipping medium sized teenage boys - see below for details)

The only negative part is that there are a bunch of what seem like regulars who try to claim and entire lane for multiple flips and such across the field of trampolines. It is cool at first to see, but when they start to try and boss your kids around and claim squares it is a bit ridiculous considering we paid the same amount they did. What makes it worse is that the kid (employee) who was watching the trampolines seemed to be friends with them so he didn't say anything, but he said something to us for sitting down to play crack the egg or for standing still, but owell, this is not that big of a deal considering how freaking awesome this place is.

One suggestion would be to move the free water fountain to where people can find it. It is tucked away back behind the kids jumping area. Otherwise go and get your jump on because the place is too much fun. My family and I can not wait to go back.

I was born 15 years too late. I would have looooved going to this place as a teenager. They have endless trampoline floors with trampoline WALLS. Plus dodgeball, volleyball, arcade games, DDR, and a snack bar with dippin' dots (ice cream of the FUTURE).  Even as an adult it is still pretty fun if you don't mind getting glared at by the teenagers. I attempted the trampoline aerobics class and it pretty much kicked my ass. Luckily there was a trampoline to break my fall all of the three times I fell flat on my face.

"Airobics" classes are Tues and Thurs 6 and 7 PM. Get there about 15-20 min early  - sign in at the computers and then pay at the front desk. There are 50 cent pay lockers inside.

For regular jumping they are open til midnight on weekends...

SIX stars... Can I give this place 6 stars? This place deserves SIX stars. Are you feeling me?

I absoultely LOVE this place. This place is fun for ALL AGES. This may be the best way to spend a few dollars anywhere in Sacramento! No kidding. Remember in the WINNIE the POOH movies when TIGGER would bounce all over the place on his tail? Well, you too can bounce like TIGGER at Sky High Sports! This place will bring out the KID in just about anyone.

What is it? It's a massize warehouse filled with trampolines everywhere. Trampolines side by side. Trampolines on the walls.  You can play trampoline dodgeball. They even offer Trampoline aerobics classes. It's trampoline-bouncing ecstasy!

Good, clean wholesome and HEALTHY (wow imagine that) fun!

This place is SO. MUCH. FUN. I don't know how there aren't 100 reviews gushing about the good times to be had at Sky High. Why is Rancho Cordova keeping this a secret??

I've been there twice so far, both times for the AIRobics class, and both times I left exhausted but with a lingering adrenaline rush.

The classes offer several different approaches to exercise during the 50-minute session, including solo jumping (it's always one person per trampoline), ball tossing with a partner, relays up and down the trampoline court and even more traditional exercises like pushups, situps, and other core exercises (although I've never figured out why they include these because my core gets a workout just from jumping around). The minutes fly by, and I leave feeling like I just got the best workout of my life.

Participants are all ages and skill levels, from newbies like myself who take things a bit slow, to cheerleader/gymnastic types who flip and fly all over the place. Just don't let the aerobics part fool you. It's not all ladies in headbands and pink leotards. There are plenty of men (and kids) too.

In addition to the Tuesday and Thursday classes mentioned in other reviews, there is also a 10 a.m. class on Saturdays.

Be sure to get there 15-20 minutes early if you're new to fill out a form and get a good trampoline spot where you can get comfortable testing out your jumping skills.

So much fun. I took my almost-seven-year-old nephew and the two of us bounced and hopped and laughed and had a total blast. Not many grown-ups were jumping when I was there, but if they did, they would have just enjoyed it a ton. The people at Sky High have done a good job of figuring out how young kids and older kids can all have a fun time here. It's monitored, there's a special section for younger kids, and peace is kept very well. The food isn't too healthy, but oh well, when you're expending that much energy, I suppose it doesn't matter -- you'll burn it off in 15 minutes!

All the basics have been covered by other reviewers.  This place is awesome!  I took my nieces (8 and 13) while they were visiting and had a blast.  It was like my childhood fantasy, in which I am the only one to show up for gymnastics class and get the trampoline all to myself for an hour!  I was still jumping long after my nieces were tired out.  My husband and I have started going to the aerobics classes -- they are now held Saturday mornings in addition to Tuesday and Thursday nights.  My heart rate was way up, my muscles were sore the next day, and I got the best workout I've had in ages, but it was so fun that it didn't even feel like exercising at the time.  Now, if they would only build one in Rosevile...

One thing the previous reviewer left out is that Sky High offers trampoline aerobics classes on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, at 6pm and 7pm. They are 50 minutes long and cost $5 per class. No need to register. Just show up with your money and get ready to have a lot of fun while getting a really good cardio workout. There were all ages and fitness levels at the class I took.  The night of my class, I slept better than I had in a long time.  I will definitely go back for more.

A huge trampoline complex that offers an aerobics class ($5) or open jumping ($9/hr). Both options are fun and super sweat-inducing.  Perfect for the certifiably hyperactive and those who never outgrew jumping on the bed or adoring Tigger -- the clumsy and unathletic will have fun too.

Best place to work out those extra cookies, sugar, energy on a rainy day. The place smells like funk (you know the gym smell)...but what do you expect with a bunch of people jumping around for an hour or more? We use the 8 year old  and under trampolines and the kids have  a blast. The staff is great, young folks that watch the kids and that  are mommy friendly. I would suggest that you buy your wristband on-line when it is raining/weekend b/c they get very busy and fill up fast. We once had driven 1/2 hour to get there only to wait for almost an hour. Sky High Sports have an arcade that you can utilize while you wait with a few arcade games for the school age/teen age child . They also have a snack bar too full of your favorite junk food. It is a fun fabulous place and worth the price for one hour of jumping/bouncing and getting downright crazy. Rules of the place, shoes OR barefoot, no socks and let me tell you grown ups...take care to not run to rescue a fallen child only to find yourself bouncing up in the air and landing flat on your face...not that it has happened to me, I am just saying.
