ok. after agonizing weeks of WAITING, the day finally came today when i went in for my fraxel 2940 service. as i mentioned in my first review, i had such an AMAZING consult with jen + collette the first time that i absolutely couldn't WAIT to get my treatment. well, i'm here to tell you guys skin savvy is well worth the wait!!
first of all, we (me, my hubby, best friend, and best friend's date) had basically booked the entire morning/afternoon of skin savvy with back to back fraxel services. all in all, we were there from 10am to 3pm. jen and collette, in their graciousness, went FAR out of their way to ensure we were comfortable and taken care of. they thoughtfully provided a breakfast of toasted bagels, fresh fruit, and orange juice when we first arrived. we were also offered (and unanimously accepted) mimosas. it was a great way to start off what could potentially be an anxiety inducing situation.
through my powers of cajoling, begging, and clever threats, i managed to secure the right to go first. jennifer and collette made sure i had time for the atavin and vicodin to work before leading me into the treatment room. after asking me the type of music i liked, she piped fleetwood mac into the room before settling me into the bed. jen was very patient and explained every step of the procedure so i knew exactly what was going on BEFORE it happened. collette gave me a bear to hold and offered her hand as well if i needed it. they were present, soothing, and supportive through every step of the treatment. the fraxel treatment itself is uncomfortable but not unbearable. it's no walk in the park, but not as bad as i had feared. again, the big difference was jennifer's patience and continued communication with me during the process. i always knew and was prepared for what was going on. she also asked me again what i wanted her to focus on and spent extra time treating my areas of concern.
after my treatment (roughly 35 minutes), i hung out in the lobby, where i enjoyed mimosas and a lunch spread of crackers, cheese, and salami. mmmm. the ladies of skin savvy REALLY went out of their way for us and it made our spa day so special. everyone enjoyed their service and were very impressed by the kindness, graciousness, hospitality, and warm, PERSONAL professionalism of the girls at skin savvy.

I have been secretly going to Skin Savvy for several years, and Jennifer, from the get-go has always made me feel comfortable. She is a genuine person and truly cares about you, this is obvious in the way your treated from the moment you walk in, until the time you leave.
I will keep my services hush hush, after all, I can't give away all of my beauty secrets... Thank you Jennifer. -

The girls at Skin Savvy are great. The laser procedure works (I have my third appointment coming up) and I find myself looking forward to seeing the results & hanging out.

Jen is amazing! I have seldom encountered anyone as skilled and knowledgeable when it comes to skincare. Skin Savvy changed the way I look at my skin and beauty products in general...Jen has taught me which make-up is full of mineral oil, how to tame my oily skin without over-drying, etc. She is extremely talented when it comes to performing procedures and they are the least painful I have received. She made even the most intense fractional laser an approachable experience.
Skin Savvy offers a number of sales/special offers each month and they only recommend what they feel you need and can afford to do at any given time (no high-pressure salespeople here). The atmosphere is relaxed, real and positive--Jen wants you to feel your absolute best inside and out when you walk out the door after an appointment. My skin feels amazing after a couple of years with Skin Savvy and only continues to improve. I encourage EVERYONE to make an appt. for a consult with Jen--she will change your life and your skin! -

LOVE LOVE LOVE this place. After coming here for the first time for spa week for.....I forgot already, haha. Well, it doesn't matter, because this place rocks! Lol. Anyway, I came here for something, and Jen suggested that I do the chemical peel, aka VI peel. And after having consistently massive breakouts, I was desperate to try anything. So I scheduled a chemical peel with her. I couldn't make it on time to my appointment, and I called literally 5 minutes before my appointment to reschedule and Collete was super nice about it. Now that I think about it, they didn't even charge me the $40 something dollar fee for not giving advance notice! Ahh I love them! So I did my chemical, blah blah blah, it's the third day of my peel and I am absolutely loving the results! My face isn't flawless but it's sure an improvement from before, that's for sure! I don't think I'm ever going to want to wear concealer again! (which Jen told me is really bad for your skin btw). :)) Maybe that's what was causing the breakouts? The point is, Jen knows skin, and Collete and her are just really sweet forgiving people. (I was uber late to my first appointment and bailed on the 2nd) -_-
I felt horrible. I'll definitely be coming back here to get more of these awesome VI peels! Thanks Jen and Collete! -

Best skin professional ever! Jennifer is not only knowledgeable, she is incredibly kind and reliable. She has always made me feel beyond comfortable and is so accommodating. I truly can't sing her praises enough. If you are looking for anything ranging from a facial to lazer hair removal Jennifer is the best!

Jennifer is highly skilled at her trade. For the last 20 years of my life, I have smeared on makeup and hidden my skin. I have never thought twice about it. In just 4 months, I have stopped wearing makeup all together. How crazy? I dont' even recognize myself. Plus, the other day I was getting my eyebrows done and the artist said to me, "you have the most amazing skin". Me???? I am hooked. In fact, I think I will call for an appointment right now.
