Went to Jennifer my first time 2 weeks ago. It was such a great experience. I have been looking for a new esthetician for a while now. It has been hard to find someone that is detailed and knowledgeable. Jennifer has a comfortable and relaxing place. She is very friendly and passionate about skin care. I felt very comfortable and will be going back.
The like EVERYTHING to be extracted. She did just that and I was not in pain. Prices are reasonable and she accepts cc's. If you are looking for a regular esthetician...you should call Jennifer. -

I've gone to Jennifer for several years and it is always a calming and wonderful experience. Her place is immaculate and her personality is zen. She lives this stuff and is so knowledgeable about skins of all ages. I love her extractions and her glycolic masks. Her essential oils and body lotions are heavenly. I love her sunscreen!

Absolutely love Jennifer! I purchased a Yelp deal after reading all the great reviews. I had high expectations and she exceeded them! Very knowledgeable. Creates a comfortable and zen-like atmosphere. Most importantly, I get great results! It's an hour drive but soo worth it!

I just had a facial last night from Jennifer -- based on these Yelp reviews -- and I loved it -- and her! She was gentle, thorough, and my skin after looked great! I noticed it immediately and then this morning as well.
Be sure to get the massage, too - that was a wonderful addition. She knew which products to use on my face and then explained each one to me. She was warm and knowledgeable. I will definitely be back to her -- my skin will demand it!
By the way, she is super reasonable, which makes going back all the more realistic. And she doesn't try to upsell anything -- I'm always hesitant about that -- especially with a new person. She's just all about great skincare and making your experience welcoming. I'm so excited to have found a regular place to go for a great facial! -

Jennifer is knowledgeable, genuine and extremely reasonable on prices. Her studio is peaceful, clean and has wonderful energy. I made an appointment based off all of her good reviews and am glad to say she was totally worth it. In addition to excellent service, her products are amazing as well. I had no intention of buying any, but after her detailed explanation of each item and the fact they were all natural - I had to go for it. Its been 3 weeks since my facial and I look and feel great! I'm going back again soon too!

Took my pre-teen daughter to Jennifer based on Yelp reviews. I can second, third and fourth other Yelpies. Jennifer is exceptionally personable. My daughter was rather nervous about the experience (she's started to get acne and we thought a good extraction would be helpful).
I was a little apprehensive when I realized we were going to her house, but found it to be welcoming. The place smells divine, it's air conditioned and comfortable.
Jennifer has a kind of zen about her that sets you at ease. Next time I go, it will be my turn! -

During my extensive research in finding the perfect skin care professional, I came across Skin Care by Jennifer. Her 5 star-streak of 21 reviews on Yelp convinced me I would be an idiot if I passed her up. I scheduled my first appointment with Jennifer for a consultation and treatment same day.
Although Jennifer's spa is in home, she has managed to make the environment a very tranquil and serene one! When you first walk into the room you are immediately greeted by the fresh aroma in the air and the calming earth tone colors of the décor.
I was very impressed by her consultation. She is extremely thorough, making sure that she is aware of any skin allergies you may have to any skin care products. She then examines your skin and suggests which treatments she thinks will work best for your skin type. She provides you with full detail on her suggested treatments. Such as, how they work, the product type and what it consist of. To make sure you are completely comfortable before she proceeds.
She offers packages where you can create your own facial by adding other treatments such as extractions and peels. This is what I had done: the package called 'The mini plus Extractions' which includes a cleansing, mask and treatment cream with extractions. I also included a Blue Agave & Pineapple Lactic acid peel (which btw smells divine!).
Jennifer is very gentle during your cleansing, facial, etc. though you should expect slight pain during your extractions because she is very methodical when it comes to cleaning out all the yucky stuff our faces oh-so-love to collect.
Although it's only been 1 day since my facial I can already see how much cleaner my skin looks and feels! I can honestly say I am extremely pleased with Jennifer's attention to detail, perfectionism, professionalism & most of all the results. Also Jennifer's skin looks flawless, she has the most amazing skin I've ever seen.
I highly suggest you book an appointment to go see Skin Care by Jennifer to get you towards your goal of a smoother, clearer more youthful looking you. I can't wait until my next appointment! -

This is my second time visiting Jennifer and both times it was outstanding experience. This time I started with the Deep Cleansing Facial. You never realize how many blackheads you actually have until somebody finds them all!
I included an Ultrasonic Facial. I wasn't sure what it does but it felt great and when I was done I could really see a difference and since I don't do this every week I figured I needed a treat.
I then added a Malic Acid Mask. like tiny pins in my face (not at all painful) it lifted of a layer of old face. My skin felt clean and fresh and softer than it has been in a while.
The Brown Sugar lip scrub made my sun beaten lips soft and silky. Not expensive so I added it without even thinking about it.
I finished with a foot massage. I work on my feet and like to treat them to something nice every once in awhile. This was amazing. I was in heaven. Much better than those cheesy Chinese foot massage places. Next time I will add the hands.
Jennifer really takes her time and is a very skilled skin therapist. My face looks great and there are age spots that are no longer visible. Her house is clean and she is very professional. The only change I would make is not to wait so long before I go back again. -

I've gone to Jennifer for two facials now, and both experiences were just wonderful! She's personable and friendly, and her home is nice and relaxing.
The first time I got the Detoxifying Oxygen Therapy Treatment. It was great! I left with my face feeling like it was the cleanest it had been in YEARS. And I had some acne blemishes that it helped clear up.
The second time I got the Diamond Peel Microdermabrasion. I absolutely LOVED this! It got rid of a lot of my stubborn blackheads and cleared up some pesky acne nicely. It also really helped with my acne scarring. I saw a difference immediately... it was like magic! I will definitely going back for the Diamond Peel as soon as I can.
She also gives a product consultation, which is really helpful. I found out I had been using product that is widely known as the worst in the industry since I was 14! Terrible. I'm just glad she was able to recommend some products that were better for my skin and more natural.

Enough cannot be said about Jennifer. She's an absolute professional in everything she does and provides you with a good natural honest service that makes you really appreciate that apps like Yelp exist so people like her can be found. I am a savvy beauty services consumer and have been getting facials since I was 16, so you might say I know what I am talking about. I have to say that Jennifer is an excellent, thorough, skilled esthetician. She does a fabulous, professional, pampering facial. Her extractions are thorough, her assortment of products is great, I loved the diamond peel mircodermabrasion and she gives a great hand a foot massage too! She has a lovely treatment room set-up in her home, she is super nice and you will leave there with glowing skin! I highly recommend a facial by Jennifer.

I desperately needed a facial but kept putting it off because I felt there were better ways to spend my money. I did some research on yelp and decided to give Jennifer a call. It was Sunday morning and she was willing to see me the very same day. :) Beauty treatments on a Sunday can be hard to find, but are perfect for me because I work, and the husband watches football all day.
She works out of her house, which I don't have a problem with at all. It was very relaxing and clean, and I felt very comfortable. After cleansing my skin she took a better look and made some recommendations. She was upfront about the costs and wanted to make sure I was comfortable with the prices. She explained each step of the process and I was very happy with the treatments.
Jennifer was not pushy with any of her products, but did give me some information. I actually went home and purchased a few products she recommended online.
Overall, it was a great facial. Jennifer is very sweet, knowledgeable, and I could tell she really cares about what she does. And I love that I will be able to see her on a Sunday. I know I will be back soon. -

I went and saw Jennifer because I saw all the great reviews on yelp and instead of getting a massage I figured a facial would be a better choice for me as I was breaking out a lot thanks to Sephora's Temptu airbrushing machine (which I had to return). Jennifer was super sweet and very helpful. She really cares about her patients and she made me feel relaxed and calm. She went above and beyond the call of duty and I really appreciate it Jennifer! I cannot wait to come back.
Jennifer works out of her home, which for me is fine. I have gone to a few in-home salons for eyebrows, etc before so it was not a big deal for me. But if you want that salon experience then maybe this is not for you. Try her once though and see for yourself. I have had a lot of facials before but this was the best.
I got the pumpkin peel, microdermabrasion and a facial. All were great and she made sure my sensitive skin did not get irritated by the products she was using. I will definetly be returning. Jennifer is now my go to person for skincare.

This review is long overdue, my apologies!
I went to Jennifer in December 2009, when I was staying in the valley on business. My skin was NOT reacting well to Los Angeles, and I was suffering from a terrible acne breakout. Jennifer talked to me in depth about what our options were, and decided on an Oxygen Facial. The experience was so relaxing, our conversation was lovely, and my skin was deeply cleansed. She also recommended several products I could try for my acne scars (she didn't sell them, so she wasn't product pushing).
If I am ever in the area again, I will certainly return! In the meantime, I enjoy her newsletter on skin and health that Jennifer can send you, if you want. -

I was Jennifer's first "man-scaping" client, and let me tell you I don't think I could have been in better hands, so to speak. She made me feel very comfortable and at ease in what would normally be a very uncomfortable situation. Because she works out of her house, it seemed more private and personable. I didn't feel like I was being rushed...she really took her time to explain what was being done, and again, she just made me feel very relaxed and comfortable with the whole procedure.
I never thought I would do anything like this (waxing where wax was never meant to be!) but I wanted to surprise my wife with a "new me." Well, Jennifer passed the "wife test" because my wife was very pleased with the results. I've already been back for another session and am happy to be counted among her regular clients. If you're a guy, or know a guy who is thinking about sprucing up...Jennifer's the one to see. -

I've been craving a facial for a very long time and decided to have my boyfriend join me since he was in desperate need of one (which he wasn't aware of). Thanks to an offer on groupon I found Jennifer and she was extremely helpful and pleasant. She did a great job on my facial, lip scrub, and mini hand & foot massage. My boyfriend thought it was going to be a facial massage and wasn't prepared for the extractions, but Jennifer made his experience delightful by offering him fresh fruit from her garden. My skin looks great and I definitely plan on returning. If you are looking for a in depth facial, you must see Jennifer!

After years of doing it myself, I finally decided to go all in and get a professional waxing. Jennifer immediately tries to make you feel at ease, discussing the procedure, the best way to start, etc. She has a very peaceful, relaxing studio in her home. Okay I will admit it did hurt but with engaging conversation and humor the pain is temporary and the result is worth it.

I was so fortunate to discover Jennifer three and a half years ago and I have been going to her ever since---despite the fact that I live in Orange County and she is located in Woodland Hills. She is the only one I trust my skin to.
I am an actress and model with very sensitive, rash prone skin and I often get skin reactions from the makeup that is used on me. Jennifer is unique in that she uses natural, chemical free products that soothe and heal the skin. In addition, rather than simply trying to address the symptoms of a problem, Jennifer really tries to get to the root of things and work toward preventing issues rather than just treating them.
She has been kind enough to give me appointments at the very last minute sometimes and has always taken the time to give me advice whenever I have e-mailed her with questions. She never ever pushes anything on me and is a wonderful person who truly has a passion for what she does.
Jennifer has a very nurturing, comforting presence about her. She had skin problems once upon a time (you would never know it now; she is just gorgeous and her skin is a real testimony to her methods). Due to having suffered with skin issues herself, she is very understanding of her clients' concerns.
I love the fact that her facial studio is located in her home. Back when I used to go to a regular salon, I was always so embarrassed to have to walk out at the end of a facial (in front of everyone) with my make-up completely scrubbed off and my rash flaming red! Luckily, I do not get rashes so badly anymore. Still, it is a definite comfort to be able to see a facialist in the privacy of her own home.

I found Skin Care by Jennifer on Yelp and took advantage of her 10% discount for first time clients. She was very accommodating and was able to see me the same day I contact her for an appointment. I was in desperate need of some help for a terrible breakout. I choose the Deep Cleansing Facial and had extractions for the first time. Ouch! But Jennifer talked me through the whole process and explained a lot about why my skin could be reacting the way it was. After my facial, I felt good that my skin was going to get better.
The next day, I noticed that some of it looked better (yay!) but some of it was more painful. I contacted Jennifer for advice via email and she got back to me ASAP and offered to see me again for an extraction free of charge! I went back a few days later and she focused on the one area that is giving me tons of trouble. I even bought a product from her.
Jennifer is great because she is so accessible and will always take time to answer any questions and concerns I have. Definitely give her a try and get 10% off. She will make it worth your while and her goal is to make you feel good and look your best! -

Let me start by saying that I felt like I had known Jennifer for years. I went in for a facial and for a waxing that I was very nervous about. The facial was very calming, I think I fell a sleep.lol So to the waxing, she made me feel comfortable and was very professional. I was sooo pleased with the reults of both the facial and waxing. I won't go anywhere else. Lastly, I was able to see her after work, Jennifer is very accomidating.

Let me start off this review by saying that I am what they call in the spa industry,as a "spa slut." Ha! Not really a flattering term, but I guess I except it! It's a person that bounces around from facialist to facialist, without much loyalty. Well, that may be the case, but only because I am VERY picky with whom I let handle my skin. I have to be fickle because my skin can very crabby. And to be honest, I have found only a handful of people that have helped me, and not made my skin worse. I have rosacea. The bumpy, angry kind. And Jennifer is A DREAM with my skin!! She is compassionate, knowledgeable, and very thorough. Her extractions are perfection too! From start to finish you just feel that you are in good hands. For me, getting facials now is not a luxury but a necessity. I have stopped thinking of it as calming and relaxing. But with Jennifer it still feels that way! After she thoroughly cleans, extracts, masks and calms down my skin, she gives hand and feet massages. AMAZING! It just adds to the experience. Her studio is clean, and the atmosphere is relaxing.
I cannot recommend her enough. She takes a holistic approach and is in the belief that your skin is just a mirror of what's going on on the inside. For me, this is very important. OH! And I almost forgot... SHE IS TOTALLY AFFORDABLE!!! $65.00 for an amazing facial???? Can't beat that. I guess I have settled down. I am no longer a "Spa Slut". :) -

Jennifer is amazing! IMy nose broke out horribly on a Thursday night, so I went to see Jennifer for the first time on Friday. I found her on Yelp because I was looking for naturally based products, and I actually prefer in-home facial studios. When I got there, Jennifer was friendly and inviting. Her studio is comfortable and relaxing. She took time to listen to my concerns and started my Deep Cleansing Facial. She was very careful and thorough. I had a lot of extractions, and while I won't lie and call them painless, they were the gentlest and least painful I have ever had.
I purchased her rose water spray and Naturally Lindy Facial wash. I am very happy. My nose looked like a human nose again when I left, and the products are serving me well at home. I will absolutely return. The short foot rub you get during your facial makes me want to go back for reflexology. It was great! -

I was looking to surprise my wife with a facial, because she has been wanting one for a couple of months. My prayers were answered when I contacted Jennifer and she was no only available on Saturday, but very flexible with the scheduling. My wife has been to a couple of spas, but some of the experiences have not lived up to the hype. Jennifer's attitude had both my wife and myself at ease within a couple of minutes. My wife is extremely happy with her treatment and will be scheduling another treatment soon. I was extremely happy with the results, because my wife's skin was glowing, and looked perfect.
