I'm addicted to learning new words and these are some of my latest...
Actually, I lied... there are now seven cool words.

Crapulence

Crapulence (a state of extreme drunkenness) because it is just plain fun to say, especially to people that are in fact, drunk  (not many people know what it means, which makes it all the more fun to use).

Ferblungen

It is a Yiddish word meaning something like "disoriented" or "all over the place." I like the word because it sounds like what it means so if you are feeling ferblungen it gives you some satisfaction to use the word and know it will somehow be understood.

Trollop.

It is like a wench with a touch of class.  If you try to use it in conversation, it almost always gets a good reaction.

Ludicrous.

"Ludicrous" because first of all, there is a lot in life that is absolutely ludicrous, so it's a very useful word.  I think I also like it because it's a great alternative to overused words like "ridiculous," or the ubiquitous "stupid."  It's not like I've never spoken this word before but I'm getting reacquainted with it, so to speak...

Tintinnabulation.

I like the way it feels when I say it.   Say it and it almost sounds like the meaning of it -- the ringing of bells.

Ruse     Pronounced: Rooze

I love all the words that are used to describe the word.  In fact some of these words that are used to describe "Ruse" are so great that they too will be some of my new favs:  (love) subterfuge, dodge,  stratagem, maneuver, trick, wile, artifice, deception, device, dodge,  gimmick or the Informal : shenanigan (cool word)

Using it in a sentence:
The tireless use of propaganda or someone that is "stalling" could be using it as a Ruse or tactic to mislead or delay.   A crafty stratagem; a subterfuge or plan intended to deceive or trick.

Spoonerism.

A word named after the Rev. Spooner, who commonly made the mistake that now has his name affixed to it. A spoonerism is a transposing of syllables whether in a phrase or a single word. Most spoonerisms will make real words that will confuse the meaning of sentences.

Spoonerism - Roonerspism
Take a Shower - Shake a Tower
Two of Hearts - Who of Tarts
Bottled Water - Waddled Botter

One of Rev. Spooner's most famous mistakes was the following:  Dear Old Queen - Queer Old Dean
