I recently stopped in this store because I had lunch at Colucci Cafe (don't bother) and was hoping something else on this little part of Telegraph would spark my fire and sure enough, it was Siobhan Van Winkel's little shop.

I couldn't afford the hand sewn stuff she does in-store.  It's beautiful!  But way out of my toddler-practical price range.  She carries cute tights and little necklace kits, and funky little books.  When I was collecting my load of purchases, she came up to us and asked me what size I was looking for and I said "18 months, but nothing over 25 bucks."

Boom.  She had me holding the most darling little silk screened tops and onesies.  I absolutely love them and my daughter has been wearing a little cream tee by Penny and Maude ( this one: http://stores.homestea... )with little birds and nests screened on it.  It's a joy to see her wear it!  And the best part?  It was created by local artists and sold in a locally owned boutique.  I will totally go back.  Siobhan has a great vibe.

Don't be put off, as we were at first, by the un-ritzyness of the neighborhood. Having heard great things, we finally made it over to check out this store, and were so glad that we did! Immediately fell in love with this gem where we found the hippest, cutest clothes and shoes! It is a pure pleasure to shop there, and Siobhan, the owner, is incredibly helpful, friendly and fun, while having super taste.

Siobhan Van Winkel's woman owned, mama powered store has be *very* best selection of  everyday and playwear for children, as well as fun hats, acessories, and costumes for your inner child, too!

Siobhan is there most of the time, and usually willing to make custom items for the most personal gift!  Check it out!

I just discovered this enchanting store this morning. Luckily, my daughter and I got to meet the delightful Siobhan as well. This shop has it all. Lily happily played with toys while I browsed through the incredible selection of play clothes, dress-up clothing, toys, funky shoes, and playful animal backpacks. I will be back for a backpack! It's a wonderful store with clothing for big people too. Highly recommended!

This is hands down one of the greatest stores in the East Bay! Siobhan is so super cool! Her store is stuffed with really unique clothes for kids and a few things for adults as well. She carries mostly local designers or small companies. I love this place!
