If there's an appliance in our place that gets worked overtime, it's the pet vacuum cleaner. We've got two long haired felines and they're *constantly* grooming themselves & shedding everywhere. We have to buy lint rollers in bulk because of the little purr monsters.

I had experienced some technical difficulty with the vacuum and I stopped in at this shop to see if they had a part on stock or if I could get it delivered from the manufacturer.

I brought the vacuum with me to show the worn out part(s) and we even looked at a schematic. Apparently the part(s) are only available with an assembly and not serviced separately, which is what I was not willing to buy. The store employee grabbed one of their vacuums to see if they had similar pieces to swap out with mine, but the designs between the two machines were slightly different.

It was a bummer that I couldn't get the vacuum fixed on the spot, but I really appreciate that the store employee went out of her way to check every available option and verify that they did not have a suitable replacement part there. She didn't charge me for her time either, which I thought was generous.

This store also has a lot of sewing machine stuff, threads, and whatnot. I'm not a tailor, but if you're a crafty seamstress, then check them out. They have separate rooms and tables if you're handy with a needle & thread. Maybe you can make a yelpy quilt, apron, or leisure suit.

The WORST customer service of any place I have experienced in San Diego. They are very unorganized. Every time I called to check if my Bissell carpet cleaner was ready I was given a new date to come pick it up. First time we got it fixed there it took 2-3 weeks to fix the pump. We had to call every time for a status update. Didn't get called once.

Brought it in a few months later for the same problem it had when it was under warranty, that they had fixed. We explained that it was the same problem they worked on while it was under the warranty so we asked them if they could contact bissell to see if it would be covered since they did the original (and obviously faulty) repair. Got no call for a few weeks so I decided to check in on itThey said they hadn't heard from bissell yet. I called a few weeks later and when I reminded them about the warranty they said "no, it's not covered". The way the conversation went led me to believe that they never even contacted bissell or did anything proactive on their end. From there I told them to just fix it and I would pay out of pocket for it. I called a few weeks later and I guess there was no recollection of that conversation, so back to square one on getting the repair even started. Called back a few more weeks, was given a date, called on that date and was given a new later date which happened 2 more times.

My machine has been there for 6 MONTHS! This is absurd. They are unorganized, unprofessional, occasionally rude and just plain don't seem to care about customer service or quality of care. The worst place ever. I'll be damned if I have to pay for this repair.

Would give it a zero if I could.
