1 review for Silverton Inn & Suites
Clean, spacious, comfotable place to stay right in the center of Silverton. Not overpriced for what you get. Suites come with a kitchenette. The whole place has been remodeled recently, so there is a new feel to it. Probably a three star hotel, so giving four stars for what it is worth.

History
Established in 2006
The Silverton Inn & Suites is a transformational renovation project that was completed in 2007. The combined visions of DeGeorge Construction and G. Victor Madge Architect, Inc. resulted in a landmark building for historic downtown Silverton, one that has been credited with being a new economic engine for the community.
Doug DeGeorge purchased the dated old Nordic Motel in 2006 and selected Silverton-area architect Victor Madge to assist with the design. The combination of DeGeorge's initial concept and Madge's vision for this key downtown location culminated in a development that has quickly "become an anchor in the downtown community," says Chamber Executive Director Stacy Palmer.
Meet the Business Owner: Doug D.
Doug DeGeorge attended Columbia University, where he majored in economics. His subsequent career as a developer led him to building and designing a number of distinct homes throughout Carmel, Pebble Beach and the Carmel Highlands in California. In addition, DeGeorge has developed exclusive restaurants throughout the Monterey Peninsula, including remodeling the Hog's Breath Inn restaurant for actor Clint Eastwood. DeGeorge is widely known as a builder of custom, old-world wine cellars and tasting rooms.
A philanthropist at heart, DeGeorge is the founder of the Kris Kringle Foundation, a charitable organization that brings Christmas to needy families in the Monterey Bay area. He is also a member of the Brotherhood of the Knights of the Vine, a non-profit corporation dedicated to wine professionals and wine enthusiasts. DeGeorge is a self-described family man, living part-time in Carmel, California and part-time in Silverton, Oregon.
