A real Mexican billiard parlor
..a rare find, and a dying breed.

Small parking lot, small smokey dimly lit establishment, a couple familiar faces and a few older Mexican onlookers perched up against tables.  Several layers of thick paint coated the brick walls donning rows of dust-covered trophies and shiny framed gifts from their beverage counterparts ..Exposed plumbing and a wide array of stools to choose from.

The gentleman behind the counter walks over, "would you like cream and sugar miss?" then gives a quick pour, stir, and hands me one of several mismatched mugs.  "WHAAPPTT! pttttdd. plop, plunk. tic tic tic.." I look over my shoulder; the match had begun.  Two faces emerge into the dim light: our crazy Middletown kid and one I had failed to recognize earlier..

1 golf table, 1 carom table, 2 newer 9ft Brunswicks with faster cloth, 8ft and 7ft bar tables, electronic juke box, several vintage wooden Brunswick tables with nappy cloth.  An abundance of pork rinds, Valentina, Gitroviton, Clamato, Corona, XX, Modello, etc.  Glass-bottled Cola, Pepsi, Orange Crush.  Sunday and Tuesday night mini-tournaments.
