127 reviews for Silver Legacy Resort Casino
I have not actually stayed in this hotel, but I can tell you that it is the nicest downtown casino, in my opinion. I played here a few times and the setting is nice, the dealers are friendly, and I had a bit of luck on the video poker machines.
I prefer a few properties that are not located downtown, but if they were not an option, I would be here. Next time, I will grab a bite to eat so I can add that to my review update.
This review is for our stay at the hotel.
We were driving through Reno on a road trip and needed a place to crash for the night. I called this place up asking what their rates were for the night. The lady on the phone told me that besides the standard rooms, they also had superior and deluxe available. She quoted me the rates which seemed reasonable.
5 minutes after my phone call, we were at the front desk to book a room. The deluxe (what we wanted) and superior were gone, and the rates were $10 more than what she said on the phone. Hmmmm. I wonder how all this changed within 5 minutes. I made it very clear we wanted to stay in a non-smoking room and we were assured that our standard would be smoke free.
Non-smoking, my ass. The room reeked of cigarettes. Everything seemed skeevy and I was afraid to touch anything. You know that gross germy feeling in strip clubs? Kinda like that. The bed wasn't comfortable at all. I began to wonder if they made the rooms so gross so you'd give up on sleeping and go downstairs to gamble.
I gave it two stars since it lacked roaches.
I can't really complain too much when your room is free, your meals are comped and I've been lucky with Sportsbook wagers here at Silver Legacy over the past few years. SL is and has been my lucky lil casino so I don't plan on staying anywhere else and jinxing my lucky streak.
My only complaints are that the bed was too firm, our non smoking room last year smelled like smoke and this year, I couldn't really identify the odor in the room. Good thing housekeeping had a bottle of lemon deodorizer to give to us to mask the smell. Lastly, their Flavors buffet is not as good as El Dorado's buffet.
Asides from that, see ya next year SL!
WIth the Vietnamese Concert and Kelly Clarkson show happening on 11/28, this place was quite the scene! I was in town for the latter, although I do love all things and people Vietnamese. My expectations for Silver Legacy were high because of the movie "Kingpin". I was really looking forward to that potato bar but I guess it only existed in the movie...sad day. My mom and I shared a regular room with a king bed, there were no other Non-Smoking rooms that had a queen. The room was pretty small but had the basic amenities exluding a fridge. The pillows were crummy, there were only 3 of them and I think there should've been 4 but I was too lazy to call the Front Desk about it. Can't complain much since the rooms were comped! The staff was nice, not surly.
Restaurant selection was decent. Good location to everything else. Walking distance to the Keystone Towne Center area, which has a grocery store, Wells Fargo, and some other restaurants.
Foood is CHEAP and it's pretty GOOD!!! Can't beat the price here!!!!!!!! Other than that, I'm not a big fan of this hotel casino...it took all of our MONEY!!! No luck for us here!!!
My boyfriend and I booked a room at this casino for our two night stay in Reno. We were lured in by the price - $39.99/night, but after reading reviews on Yelp and other travel sites were concerned that we were going to be staying in a dump. We were impressed walking through the lobby of the casino, which is luxurious and quite grand, but held our breath until we got to our room. It was a 25th floor smoking room, but was very, very clean, and smelled only faintly of cigarette smoke (important for me, the non-smoker in our relationship). The king bed was extremely comfortable, and we had a nice view of downtown Reno and the mountains in the distance.
We had our first night's dinner at Smokin' Gecko's BBQ, which is technically part of the Circus Circus casino. The food was fantastic--love that cornbread with honey butter. We had breakfast and lunch the next day at Flavors! buffet, which is a lot better than most of the buffets I've ever gone to. Only complaint about the food would be the scrambled eggs at breakfast--college dining halls do a better job than they did.
We spent a lot of money in the casino (of course), but had a blast losing it all. No complaints about the parking garage, which was narrow, but we were able to find a spot for our Mustang and didn't suffer any dings. Minus one star for the high price for wireless internet--$9.99/day is just ridiculous.
For a trip that's closer (and thus cheaper) than Las Vegas, I really don't think you can go wrong with the Silver Legacy.
Stayed here for one night recently. Room was OK, pretty clean. The mattress left a little to be desired though. Not very comfortable. The price was right, $49 for the night. I would stay here again. It is no Bellagio or Venetian but for the price and being in Reno you can't go wrong. Pretty good restaurant downstairs also, Sterlings.
Got a handicapped room for my parents which was very nice. Much bigger than my room. Way more comfortable bed also, although I did not sleep in it, just rested on it for a few minutes while they got ready for dinner.
I was pretty lucky at the tables to, I like the dealers here.
I give it 3 stars because I did stay once at the Grand Sierra Resort up on one of the remodeled floors and that was nice.
I would stay here again if need be.
I thought Reno casinos would be bootleg, but Silver Legacy was very nice. Silver Legacy is now also our lucky casino, as we hit many yo's and hard ways on the craps table.
I was totally satisfied with our stay at this hotel. We got a deluxe room on the 31st floor with a hot tub in the room and it was immaculate, spacious, and beautiful. We booked the room through SL's website and using our AAA discount....a good price!
If I must complain about something, it would be the lack of channels on the TV. Most of them were channels advertising the Casino specials, but as far as programming there were only 4 or 5 networks. Also internet hookup was not free, but that's ok - we came here to do other things.
For food, I highly recommend the Buffet in the El Dorado . As other reviewers noted, Circus Circus and El Dorado hotels are all owned by SL so you can bill your room after eating at any of these places. The El Dorado Buffet had a large selection including tender prime rib and homemade gelato in at least 10 varieties, for dessert.
Circus Circus buffet was ok, a point in their favor was you can refill your own beverage at any time. At El Dorado, you are at the mercy of a server who may be paying attention to you or not for beverage service. We didn't get a chance to try the Flavors Buffet, they were closed for remodeling during our stay.
I love staying at the silver legacy hotel out of Circus circus and Eldorado. My experience here has been enjoyable. The rooms are a little small but its decent enough to stay. Sometimes it feels clean and sometimes you can just feel that its dirty in the room. I mostly come here to enjoy the food so I will review those later. I've been here when its been snowing and when its really hot here. The best time here of course is when it's snowing. My experiences here has been the best. Silver legacy in my opinion has better services in the hotel and down in the casino. I plan to continue to stay here. When you enter the lobby you don't smell smoke as much so that is a big plus.
Rooms were nice but the pai gow tables had those machine shufflers that always allows the house to somehow have the highest hands. Most Likely rigged. Waste of money. If youve never gambled, dont, waste of money. I have never won with all the card counting which by the way doesnt work anymore yet internet pages say the tactics still work, such bs.
having been spoiled in resort casinos in tahoe and vegas, i've had nothing but satisfying experiences at the silver legacy. hubby and i stayed in a jacuzzi suite a few years ago and loved the spacious room, complete with hot tub right below a window with picturesque views of the mountains, a spacious living room area and decent bathroom amenities. i also enjoyed the most relaxing and luxurious deep tissue massages in their spa that weekend - one of THE BEST massages i've ever had (i wish i remembered the therapist's name!)
we recently returned for the heiva i reno hawaiian/pacific islander festival in which the princess' polynesian group performed. this time we downgraded to a double queen room, which was much smaller and a bit cramped. the furnishings and bathroom seemed a bit old and dated, and there wasn't much seating other than a tiny round table and two chairs. luckily, we didn't really spend much time in the room other than to catch some zzzs between performances.
the silver legacy is very conveniently connected to both circus circus and el dorado, so we could easily venture to a number of restaurants without stepping outside and the midway fun and games was a quick walk away.
the outdoor pool is rather tiny and only goes up to 4 feet, and it's a shame that it closes so early - 8pm. early risers can take advantage of the ample seating area - including comfy round sofa/chaise lounges and 2 "cabana beds" (available for a $75 rental fee) - as the pool opens bright and early at 8am.
$10.99/day for wifi (but if you're there w/ friends you can share a login/password on different laptops).
there is also a gym facility and some might be annoyed that hotel guests still have to pay a $8 fee to use it, but that nominal fee also grants you full access to the spa and its showers, sauna, steam room, and hot tub (less crowded than the public outdoor one next to the pool) plus free juices, fruit and water!
the casino itself can be pretty lively but not overly crowded - the roulette table was particularly generous the weekend i was there! =)
This place has become the ultimate dump. The rooms are worse than a $20/nigh motel. What the hell is wrong with the owners driving this place down the drain?
Most of the restaurants that I used to love to go to are closed pretty much most of the time. You have to walk and walk to figure out what is open.
Service and food selection at the buffet is terrible. I had a Chinese waitress that was so stupid and did not give a damn about service. People like her should not be in the food service business. Manager that hire idiots like her should not be managers.
It's hard for me to complain about a place where I get everything for free. I'm not exactly sure how their players' rewards program works, but I've made the following possible conclusions:
1. I won a lot of money gambling, so they comped me.
2. I lost a lot of money gambling, so they comped me.
3. I spent too much money gambling, so they comped me.
4. They just happen to give a lot of comp rewards.
I think all are valid reasons, but in any case, over a course of 2.5 days, my group of four didn't pay a dime for our room or ANY of our meals, eight $12 bags of beef jerky, $26 air freshener, and candy at the gift shop, four cupcakes and two pounds of coffee at their coffee shop/bakery, a $80 shirt at the boutique, AND $100 worth of bumble and bumble hair products at their salon.
What I am trying to say is... they give REALLY good rewards when you get their player's card! The comp dollars don't stay on your card for that long (6 months, I think), so we had to use them all during this trip, which explains the overpriced, random stuff we bought. It's hard to believe that we accumulated over $500 in comp dollars!
Mediocre experience for an expensive price (especially during Hot August nights). The same drinks were different prices throughout the hotel (why I do not know). But it is still fun to people watch at all the different bars/lounges.
Well what can u expect in reno after the snow and beside casino? nothing right?! but I like this place because they have 1 of the best buffet resto. and cheap too. we got a very good deal on our spa suite room... my daughter loves it... the jacuzzi i mean...
If ever id be back in this place, probably, i hope we could get same price again (sorry cant tell hw much but it s a price of a regular room.. *wink*)
Came to Reno for Hot August Nights. The room was spacious, clean, but what I didn't like is that when you showered the drain would take forever, so you were in a puddle of water. The hotel didn't have Coke, they had Pepsi (two thumbs down!). The same drinks were a different price at every bar, which sucked. Over all it was just ok, if I had to stay here again I would just because I know what to expect.
The best thing about this property is that it's connected to or close to everything in downtown. I just finished a few day's stay for work and despite a few restaurants being closed at 10:30 on wed night it was quite pleasant. The food is better than average and costs relatively inexpensively. A short inside walk to the eldorado offers imo better food options, but the buffet is good and the 24hr cafe is delicious as well. On Saturday night it was easy to find $5 single deck bj. And the Craps table was lively and quick.
The room I stayed in was very comfortable, nice bedding and despite a slight odd smell in the towels very agreeable accommodations.
Definitely will stay again when I return.
The Silver Legacy is the biggest garbage heap of a hotel/casino I have ever stayed in. Unfortunately, I have spent way too much time in Vegas where even the worst hotel is better than this place.
I think the real problem is Reno itself. It's a filthy little town that is stuck in the 1970's. Everything is as low-class as you can get. I walked into the High Limits room and you would have thought I was an alien. Apparently, no one steps in there for weeks at a time.
Insanely crowded parking garage, TERRIBLE food at any restaurant (I tried them all), the rooms are filthy (I had a VIP suite), people vomit in the hallways (nope, i'm not making that up)...it's like the Southwest airlines of casinos.
Go to Vegas...
My husband and I have had season's passes for Northstar/Sierra ski resorts for the past few years, and Silver Legacy was always our favorite place to stay since it is about 30-45 minutes from Northstar.
Pros:
1. It is connected to Circus Circus and El Dorado, so you do not have to go outside to go to another casino.
2. The comps program is really simple to use. Your comp card is used like an ATM card, with $ put on when you play.
3. It's right in downtown Reno, so everything is within walking distance from where you are.
Cons:
1. The rooms are getting to be old and outdated. Compared to Grand Sierra's Summit rooms, Silver Legacy felt like a motel.
2. The bell desk is VERY shady. Last time we did valet parking, and had them bring our luggage up to the room. By the time our luggage got there, our bag of electronics was missing (including our portable dvd player, all of our chargers, portable ipod speakers, etc). We immediately filed a missing items report with security, and when we went to follow up on the report the next day, was told no report was ever taken down. We asked to review the cameras, and it showed the bellhop going into the elevator with our bag, but then did not show him going into the room with it. Silver Legacy did not replace our items, and even after I filed a report with the Better Business Bureau, nothing was done. Very shady, and receives -1 star.
3. Another Bell Hop story. We had them bring our stuff up to our room one more time, and on the cart we had a box of food. somehow, even though the box was at the bottom, it fell out and food poured all over our clothes. They offered to dry clean our clothes, but didn't seem to care our Vietnamese dinner was no longer of existence.
4. This past weekend, the sink had no hot water. Not even luke warm water. The shower had hot water, but not the sink, all weekend.
5. The walls are THIN. If we were able to hear the kids running around in the room next to us...I'm sure they were able to hear this newlywed couple during our midnight rendezvous.
6. Our player's card comped us a "Deluxe King Room", which was supposed to give a view of the Sierra mountains. However, our view was of the Silver Legacy dome, and it was LOUD all night.
7. Really crappy, thin towels. Not even worth stealing! lol!
Compared to Grand Sierra, Silver Legacy beats it out because of all the amenities downstairs with the casinos, shows, and restaurants.
However, Grand Sierra's Summit rooms are a million times better than Silver Legacy's, and dogs are allowed at the hotel. Grand Sierra also has microwaves in fridges in the rooms, so in staying there, you really wouldn't even have to go down to eat. But their casino is tiny in comparison to the Silver Legacy/El Dorado/Circus Circus crew.
Oh Silver Legacy, you know you are ghetto! Are you sure you're not from Oakland? I swear I've seen you around...
You are crowded, you have people dancing on your tables and getting crazy with pianos, and you have this giant oil thingy in the middle of your casino that is only useful in telling me where the escalators are amid the chaos.
But, I never played Roulette in my life. I've had googly eyes over the Roulette tables in Vegas, but never had the courage. But my first time as an adult in Reno and with 20 whimpy dollars peeking out of my hello kitty pouch hungry for a little action, a little courage, and my sister's friend to put my hand on the table - we were spinning... and I won!
Thanks for making me feel like a little champ that day and sprinkling a little beginners luck on me!
Come on folks! How much time do you really spend in your room at a casino?? I have stayed here on girl trips about 10+ times and not left saying...."I'll never stay here again". Sure, it could use some updating, but overall it is a decent hotel. I believe that everything is what you make of it.
We come to Reno to get drunk and stay drunk, eat, and go to sleep! Not to mention have the time of our lives and make hilarious memories!!
The restaurants are good. Especially Fairchilds oyster bar.....LOVE IT! When there over a weekend the buffet at Sterlings on Sundays is one of the best I have been to. Lots of seafood:-) Rum Bullions is always fun at night when they have the dueling pianos. Boy, writing this review makes me think I need to get the girls on board and book a trip to Reno and the Silver Legacy!!!!!
Good luck!
To whom it may concern,
We just stay at the hotel from Thursday night to Sunday and our experience was awful.
I guess that we order from a 3rd party (http://hotel.com expedia) we got treated different
I have sent a emails to all the 3rd party companies on how your hotel treats people, and I also wrote a view about this hotel as a neg. 1
rm serive food was cold so I guess thats why my salad was good because its served cold. but fries, wings is cold and when you called Melissa she will say so what now!!!!! what do you want me to do... I have other room calling please Mrs. get to the point....
the commucation with the staff is very poor.. the evening staff will promise you things but daytime staff will disregard any notes..
Vallet if you tip someone a 1.00 they shake their head without saying thank you.
My 2nd was wonderful, the view was great but the t.v. only played 5 channels, when rm. service put the chart from the door they spill ranch dressing and never picks it up just leave there for you to step in it.
When you call down to front desk the 3rd or 4th time because the 1st, 2nd time you are on hold so long you forget why you are calling for..
Then you get some one a young one I guess he seen who help me before (olivia and just tranfer me without any notice then start talking olivia she puts me on hold then a manager get on the phone without any notice... I guess the hotel dont beleive in say please hold I tranfer you to me manager.
Wondering if your hotel know jobs is very hard to come by these day's shouldnt be so rude...
Myrna McDonald-Davis
Hope to see you and your staff at a customer service class or maybe in court if they are rude to the wrong person...
I stayed at the hotel to go snowboarding and not for the gambling or visiting Reno. Hotel rooms needs to get an update but as my friend said, "Reno is stuck in a time wrap." On the good side, the bathrooms were clean and looked up kept. The carpet and bedspread were very dark so you could not tell if they were dirty, etc (I guess that was the point).
Staying in Reno gets you to Mt. Rose and Diamond Peak or Northstar easily. The elevators to the guest rooms are quite close to the parking garage so you don't really have to go into the casino if you don't want to.
Silver Legacy is connected to Circus Circus and El Dorado so if the weather is bad, you don't have to walk outside and still have lots of restaurant choices. If you go all the way to the casino floor at Silver Legacy, you can find $3 breakfast - what a deal!
Silver Legacy is not a bad place if you are going to Reno to gamble but if you are going up to snowboard or ski, I would skip Reno and stay somewhere else so you can get the whole "ski" resort experience.
My review is only for the "Catch a Rising Star" comedy venue located withing the Silver Legacy. Pretty good show for $17.95 a ticket(plus all those other BS surcharges). You get 2 comedians for about an 1 1/2 show- the waitress' are pretty fast. Unfortunetly, we were a little late 'cause comming to Reno on a holiday/Valentines weekend, downtown parking gets to be an issue, even with a 10 floor parking facility. Finally found street parking about a block & a half away. Missed about 20min of the show. Stressed & thirsty, service & comics changed my attitude. HAPPY HAPPY
1 star for parking
4 stars for show
The hotel room itself is decent. The beds are somewhat comfortable. The standard hotel setup. As for cleanliness, it was fine. The hotel itself dates back to 1894, so don't expect it to be new or anything.
The people who made up our rooms did a great job. New towels, beds made, everything in order... No complaints there.
We went on Memorial weekend - very busy. The service we got when we checked in was good. They comped us another day just by us requesting to stay a little longer - so that's good customer service right there.
Parking was pretty bad. It was probably due to the holiday weekend, but I also didn't like how narrow their parking garage was. I definitely would not take a nice car there. The parking slots are so narrow, someone is bound to dent your car through your stay.
All in all, ok place in Reno.
This casino has the BEST comp program BAR NONE!!! If you gamble at all, you should come here. I won a couple hundred dollars one night last August and have not paid for a hotel room or a meal in over 6 months!!!
4 full bars downstairs in the casino (including the one inside the AURA lounge). A couple good restaurants mixed in there too.
They host good events too!! Halloween and the Super Bowl party are good events to hit up!!
Went to the comedy club and the buffet. They have killer deals for dinner and comedy show here. Buffet was seafood (friday) and was decent....comedy club was good too. Recommended.
Despite the "raunchy" conditions of the city of Reno, Silver Legacy is still one of the nicest Hotel/Casinoes. The Hotel may never be as nice as any of the hotels in Las Vegas. But still, staying at the Silver Legacy is still a safe bet.
I've stayed at the hotel's Deluxe Spa Suite a few times in the past. The 600 square feet luxurious suite features a king-size bed (not two twin-beds), a whirlpool tub and a walk-in shower room.
From this visit, I booked the same Deluxe Spa Suite online for $70.00 a night. The hotel suite has added a giant plasma screen tv, a small refrigerator, freezer, and a coffee-maker in the bathroom. The television is probably digital cable, assumingly they will also switch to digital cable in the entire state of Nevada. The small refrigerator is perfect for a 6-pack of beer and leftovers from dining. "I don't believe in leftovers!"
http://www.yelp.com/bi...
And since I'm currently a AAA-member, I was honored a 10% off my nightly stay, which totalled to a little over $60.00. Rates may vary on certain days of the week and may be higher on any bigger events in Reno.
If you stay in Silver Legacy and for your convenience, there is a coffee-shop/bakery next to the hotel lobby. The line usually get long in the early morning. If you need your caffeine, there are some other coffee shops elsewhere, including a Starbucks a few blocks away.
Also on the same level, there is a gift-shop for your needs .i.e."Booze and Booty-Call", a cool night club, and some restaurants featuring a buffet.
Besides gambling, there are plenty of things to do at the Silver Legacy. It is also connected to the Circus Circus and El Dorado and you don't need to step outside to go to these connected casinoes

Reno is really cold and windy during this time of the year in March, and Matt had a room from… Read more »
Not a bad place to stay. Was here for one night. Found a deal on http://hotels.com for $21.00 for the night. Couldn't pass that up. Got two Queen beds. They were pretty comfortable. The outlets in the room were crappy. Plugs kept falling out. Overall I liked it there. Your bettter off staying inside the hotel areas. Its connected to the El Dorado Hotel and Circus Circus.
We spent most of our time at the Rum Bullion Bar and the Aura Ultra Lounge. Both places had DJ's but the one at Aura was way better.
You have some locals there mixed in with the hotel guests. So yeah at times, you see some random older people come into the bar to drink and dance... it was all in good fun though..
Ladies get free drinks at the bars at the hotel from 4pm to 7pm. And they have a good variety of drinks to choose from.
Pretty much, you go to Reno to drink gamble and have fun... Not there to spend much time in the room.. We were suppose to check out at 11am. But you can go to the front desk for an extension. And they will let you stay until 1Pm....
The outside view might not be nice as North Tahoe but the drive is a lot easier. I have not been in Reno for awhile. I am impressed that they liven up the place. New restaurants, live music and $5 buy in tables plus the reasonably price stay. It was only about 20 minutes to Mt Rose Ski Resort.
Two gripes:
*It seems like a lot of local dine, drink and party here. Parking space sucks. The Chinese Concert tonight made it even harder to find one. It took us 20 minutes.
*The convenient store should be 24hours
Damn you, Silver Legacy. Damn you..
I went to you with a pocket full of money, but exited you defeated and poor.
..but I had fun. Thanks.
We stayed there for 3 days, and we had a good experience but we saw a least 3 other families leaving the hotel because of a problem with the rooms, they smelled like smoke badly,.....it is not the first time i have heard about this problem in there.
One thing i didn't like was that...i wish the rooms would be a little more sound proof , you could actually hear everything that was going on next door, if you know what i mean........wich it could be very innapropiate if you have kids.
We stayed here for my friend's bachelor party weekend in Reno. Don't ask me why I was at a "bachelor" party, but let me clarify you that I was not the entertainment. haha... he is my fiance's buddy and I happened to be a good friend of his too. So what the hell, I became one of the "guys" for the weekend.
Overall, I was happy that we stayed here. Hotel room was pretty decent. I cannot argue the price and value of this hotel - $65/night on Saturday! Since Silver Legacy is connected with El Dorado and Circus Circus via indoor bridge, it is easy to visit other casino in the cold or rainy weather. Easy access from/to the HWY 80 exit. Centralized location makes this hotel a very convenient and attractive one.
Business center in the hotel is CLOSED on the weekend... ARGH!! But wireless is available for $10/day. There was also a pay-per-use PC in the lobby area to access to the Internet.
On note on the parking structure. It is right across from the hotel on Sierra St. What I mean is both Casino and Parking structure are on Sierra St. but Casino is on the left side and parking on the right. So you want to stay on the right side on Sierra after getting off the HWY 80 to park first.
Ooookayyy...I have to give it to S.L. after my last visit. Reasons:
1) Rum Bullions pianists
2) The amazingly charismatic senior citizen who dances his butt off to mediocre cover bands at Blues Brothers, subsequently attracting enough young ladies to make the 20-something single men jealous
3) Winning 5 bucks on 25 cent video poker while sucking down 3 free
daquiris
4) The fact that they made a mistake with our rooms and compensated by giving us VIP shizzle. "We'll be right up to stock your fridge," they said. "What fridge?", we thought to ourselves.
Enter: Hotel employee carrying a mini fridge.
Well done.

I feel like the Silver Legacy has gotten consistently more lame over the last few years. When it… Read more »
Their rooms are not bad, and they always give me free stays since I do gamble quite a bit.
The best part is that they just shared my name with the Wynn Casino in Vegas and now I have a free weekend stay there this November. I was already booked at the Bellagio, but this will be better since I heard their rooms are newer. Cool!
Love this place. ALWAYS stay here. Anytime I need anything they always take care of it right away. I have never experienced any bad staff, actually as a matter of fact, the last time we checked in the gentleman at the front desk went out of his way for us and was incredibly nice. What a change from some of the other places I have stayed in Reno. I think everytime I say here Im always blown away by how nice the staff is. The people I have seen working at Eldorado, Peppermill and Grand Sierra never seem to smile. Here the bellmen are always courteous, always prompt getting our luggage up to the room (and trust me, there is always A LOT of it) and valet is always quick with our car. Its one of the places I stay at often, and I always know I wont have anything to worry about.
I can't believe I haven't yelped this place yet!??
So I've been going out down here for years, and it's always fun. But this yeaer we've actually been staying here, for suuuuper cheap and it's clean and nice in the rooms and very quiet.
This weekend my bf opted for the jacuzzi in suite upgrade for only $75 extra...that was worth every penny! Room 804 rocks!! We had all you can eat sushi at the place downstairs(temporarily forgot the name) and finish off the night with martini's at the Roxy, the "jaded monkey" being my favorite...mmmmm such a fun affordable weekend away, and pairing it with skiing all day at Mt Rose, is the bomb! Yay for Reno, the west's hidden secret!
I had such a great time in this casino. I learned to play serious black jack here, and the dealers were great with beginners. This was the only casino that didn't make me nervous while playing cards. There are tons of options as far as food goes. And it has a great atmosphere. I enjoyed it!
The only thing I don't dig, is the rude crowd of smokers who insisted on breathing in my face. But I am from California, and smoking inside is not OK, so I'm a little spoiled.
Stayed there for 2 nights. Pretty comfortable bed. Staffs are friendly.
The magician performs around in the hotel floor is awesome.
"Doc. Cheathem" is a real deal.
