My family and I love The Silver Creek Sportsplex. We frequent this spot at least 3 times a month. My children all have memberships here.  My kids are both enrolled in soccer classes, and soon will be starting karate classes.

On the weekends we take the kiddos to the LOL! Jump houses, & after head over to High five pizza for lunch. My toddlers love watching the older kids play roller hockey while eating their pizza.

We really enjoy this place, and would highly recommend it to anyone who has kids or is into playing soccer.  It's perfect all year long. Especially for those cold winter rainy months.

I JUST visited this place and what I neat idea! I was very impressed and it was only about a 10 minute drive from our house (I missed all the BHill lights, I'm sure with the lights it would be 20 mins!). I took my daughter for open play at the jump houses and it was a pretty good deal. I guess the place HAS to be fairly decent if you see Patrick Marleau (from the Sharks) there with his kids:).
Anyhow, we had pizza at the High 5 Pizza in the Plex and it was tasty. We watch some guys do a pick up game of hockey. Overall, worth the drive to investigate and we will be back!

The sportsplex is a great facility for people of all ages. I've played indoor soccer at numerous places, and the quality of the fields here are very good.  If anyone is debating between Off the Wall or the Sportsplex for indoor soccer, the Sportxplex blows it out of the water.

    Friendly staff as well.

Love this place! I agree with previous review, great facility for all ages. The mighty cubs soccer for kids 18 months and up is excellent! My daughter loves it. Also highly recommend the summer sports camps. My 8 year old son looks forward to attending again. Definitely a plus. Did I mention the open play jump houses for kids? And High 5 Pizza? Mmm..

I love this place! The staff is alwayS treating me really well, especially that guy Lonnie. But, I've been with this place before it was even the plex. I really enjoy being able to watch friends play hockey while having a nice cold pitcher of my favorite beverage. Badminton, Lacrosse, soccer, and a huge kids play area that makes me want to be a kid again!

    Keep it up!

Had no idea about this complex until I went to watch a friends roller hockey playoff game. MASSIVE complex that houses a ton of indoor sports and shares space with a 24HR Fitness.

They have martial arts classes, hockey rinks, indoor soccer fields, large bleachers for cheering, and a BUILT IN HIGH FIVE PIZZA!   O.O

Bonus point also for having a majorly large parking lot, plenty of vending machines with good alternatives, being super clean, and giving free 24HR memberships if you play a league sport there!

I volunteer here a couple weekends out of the month and that gets me a free membership to Club One. This place is a GREAT family place. It is essentially a gigantic indoor sportsplex that has 3 roller hockey rinks, 3 soccer fields that are also used for football and la crosse. There's arcade games and a whole section in the back with a HUGE play structure (like the ones at fast food chains but WAY better) for little kids. Of course, there's also several party rooms for kids birthday parties and the restaurant in the middle (High Five) has big screen TV's, wifi and decent fare (pizza, burgers, snacks, etc.) as well as a full bar in the corner. You can view the games from their observation deck. They also have martial arts classes and a golf clinic with all that high tech stuff you use to analyze your swing. It definitely caters to the Silicon Valley corporate crowd (it's minutes away from Silver Creek Country Club), but there's a broad spectrum of people who utilize this place. Worth a look, for sure.

It's a mile away from work ... so I love it. This place has a reallyy nice bar and pizza place called high-five pizza, great place to watch games since they have like a 100 lcd tvs all over the place! :-)

From playing outdoor with a ball on the east coast to indoor with a puck here, I need to learn a lot!  But it's great here, they even have clinics for you to improve your skills twice a week.  It's only an hour, I think another 30 minutes would make it a great work out, enough time to practice and learn, encouraging for people that have to travel to come play and make worth attending if you are coming for afar.  It is after all $10 as a member, $15 in not.  Pick up is nice in the afternoon for $5(as a member)...I would not recommend any beginners(if you can't skate well, don't bother).  I've noticed some of the front desk/sales peeps need a little engergy and enthusiasm.  I don't think I've ever seen a manager of any sort, but I'm sure he/she is just layin' back, letting their employees just to do the same...they need a little lesson from Travis(staff member teaching the game of Indoor Hockey) about encouragement, enthusiasm, positive feedback, and customer service.

The rink is solid with quality sport court tiles; not hollow feeling and not slippery like at Bladium.  I also feel that Silver Creek offers better competition.  When you play better players, you become a better player.

Still can't comment of the Oakland location.  Thursdays and Sundays are pick up, but I can't make those days.  BTW, they have the same sports court tiles as Silver Creek.  The greatest about this place is that their inventory of products is AMAZING!

Pretty fun place, it's really big, there's a Club One Fitness next door. I haven't tried skating or indoor soccer or whatever else they offer, but it seems fun.

There's ample parking, they probably could never be maxed out on spaces.

I've been here twice for the Sharks viewing parties, the restaurant is decent, there's a good amount of seats.

Minus one star because I've only seen one bartender that isn't all that friendly. And the line for the bar gets way long.

Another San Jose great!  This place is like a giant version of romper room.  My little son LOVED watching all of the "big boys" play roller hockey, indoor football, soccer and the like.  This place is HUGE!  The bouncy houses were fun...we didn't even get to see lacrosse!  This place is great just to hang out and watch with the kids.

This review is for the LOL parties...totally cool and awesome.  I was here for my cousin's b-day party!   It was a 2 hour event...it was 75 minutes of fun stuff like those inflatable structures and played dodge ball...well, i didn't do those things but my kids did and they had a blast!!  The last minutes (45 mins) is for the eating part...

The place is awesome!  Like what the other reviewers said indoor soccer and roller hockey (inline hockey) are happening here!  I get to see some soccer tournaments while I was there.

Check out the place because it's actually cool to hold Team Building stuff here!

I liked the event area and the size of the room that we wanted was perfect.  I have to say that I found it pretty pricey for the "jumping area" but the people that participated in that had a ton of fun!

I am not too sure about anything other than the banquet room or the "jumper" area as far as use.

The service was great and the bathrooms were clean.  There is plenty of parking.

The event planner helping us (Traci) was great and answered all my questions.  She wasn't there on Saturday, but she didn't need to be, as things ran smoothly.

I would look into this place again for another event.

First of all, the parking lot is HUGE! it was disgustingly crowded on a wednesday night but we were still able to find parking. the place is HUGE! surprisingly well kept and clean. The bathrooms were clean also. That is always important.

We ordered a pepperoni pizza. Fed 6 ppl very well. and it was a decent price for a pitcher of hef. definitely would come back!

Wow!  Just went to the grand opening this weekend.  This place is amazing!

3 roller ice rinks, with full glass all around the rink and spectator area.

    2 indoor soccer rinks

2 smaller indoor soccer rinks that they were using for martial arts

    party area for kids

    Club One gym & spa

Not sure if I'm missing anything else.  I am definitely going to take advantage of the rollin' ice hockey for beginners.  They host a beginners hockey on Monday nights and they offer free rentals and free lesson.  I think they are planning to form a beginners team and I probably will join that too.  Will update if/when i do.

This is a very special place for me. Can't help-it's just it since June this year.

I had fun watching the indoor soccer in this place. Never been here before until then. The place is huge with nice, clean, open and bright environment.

Ample parking space and if you miss parking in the premium area closer to the complex it won't kill you if you walk a few steps and park a little further. But there's constant movements as far as people leaving the place. So premium parking is almost always available.

Enough bathrooms and the locations are pretty close to wherever you are inside the building. They have the requisite vending machine with sodas and healthy snacks.

    Refreshments:

They have the best thin crust pizza here! I will think of this place as one of my time well spent in the past 5 months. I will forever look back with the most happiness and will miss the place. :(

    * Review based upon as guests, not hosts of the party

We recently attended a kid's 5th birthday party here and my children LOVED it! I have never been to Pump It Up, but was told that it's basically the same concept - them inflatable jumpy thingy's with a slide PLUS a turf area where the kids can play with balls, hula hoops, those rubber ball thing-a-ma-jigs that you sit and bounce on, etc. etc. The jumpers were great. You can climb over things, play hoops - man all sorts of things! My little girl went berserk! The children got to spend about 15-20 minutes (maybe longer) in each area and each area just got better and even more fun!

What I wasn't impressed with was the dining area. Unlike SuperFranks, the dining table was not set up with paper plates, napkins, or cups. There wasn't a party host/hostess to serve the children (like they do at SuperFranks). The kids' parents tended to their own while the birthday celebrants' parents helped out and made sure everyone was eating and happy. At SuperFranks, you get your own personal party host/hostess and they tend to all the guests especially the children. The celebrant's parents literally do not have to lift a finger which is nice. Aside from this, everyone looked like they were having a blast.

I would definitely host a party here if only we lived closer to the Evergreen area.

Really really like this place - although i would highly recommend visiting with a friend because it can be total madness and chaos on busy game nights. I come here for soccer and that's pretty much it. there's a total of 4 fields - 2 large 2 minis. It can be competetive if you want to join a league but they offer lessons as well as league placement.  Place is clean and the staff is friendly.

Visit their website first to find out what's going on and always call beforehand to make sure something hasn't been cancelled - sometimes there are communication breakdowns between live and web.  Other than that - highly recommend it.

Awesome place to play indoor soccer!  I haven't played indoor soccer anywhere else but according to some of my teammates, this place supposedly makes other places look like a dump.  The facilities are large and clean.

The fees do seem a little bit high.  $99 for a year long membership fee, and then another $80 for our team fee.  If you don't want to pay the $99, they do have a $45 dollar trial fee for the season.  Or, if you can find 4 people to sign up at once, you can get a year long membership for a discount at $75.

It seems rather silly to review such a huge sports complex, but this place is nice. Really big, nice, clean, with plenty of parking.

My only criticism is that membership here and at the gym are separate. I think the two should offer an all-in-one deal, hence one ding on stars.

We are currently enrolled in a tot soccer class (Mighty Cubs) at Striker's Den, the indoor soccer fields, and the setup is great. The class is pretty easy-going, and it's just right for the developmental age of 24-42 months. Forty-five minutes is a long class workout for these little guys and gals. The field is divided in three with three tot classes going on at the same time, so it's interesting to see not only the progression of skills but also the cuteness overload.

Yes, I would recommend this ginormous facility for indoor sporting needs. You never appreciate climate-controlled facilities until you get full sun and 90-degree weather, which together make exercise less practical and safe for toddlers, children, and sweating parents.

This complex is huge and the best place to play any sport indoors.  Soccer, La Crosse, Roller Hockey, Flag Football (and I'm sure some sports I have yet to see).  The place seems to be really well taken care of although if you need help from the staff, good luck.

I've only see one "front" desk and it's normally crowded (especially right before a game) so it's difficult to get information without waiting for a while.  The complex is hella clean though I have to admit.  The indoor soccer arena's are nice and there seems to be plenty of seating for the spectators.  My only complaint is the complete and utter lack of ventilation.  I get all hot and sweaty while I play and it would be great to be able to sit and have a fan to cool off with......but no such luck.

I took my 2 year old son for open play at the jump houses section.  We met a few friends there and it was a fabulous time!  the jump houses are elaborate with obstacle courses, slides and simple jump areas.  Some were beyond his ability and meant for older kids but there was still plenty for him to do.

We got there around 9:45am on a Friday morning and had the place almost to ourselves until about noon'ish.  The jump area is fenced in and there are a few tables outside for snack time.

Its a perfect place for a playdate!

I play roller hockey here, and all in all its pretty OK. But there are many problems with the way this place is run. First off its really expensive, I think we pay something like $1500 a season plus a yearly membership fee. What sucks is your really don't get what you pay for, the refs are pretty lazy and miss a lot of calls, they expect you to provide a puck, where is my money going you guys cant even pay for a puck, hmmmm and lastly the people who run this place only really care about money, if you ask them about stuff there really unhelpful but as soon as they need money they wont stop hassling you about it, and they will often lie to make you pay fees sooner, they told us if we didn't pay 3 weeks in advance another team would take our place, when are season started there were 2 less teams wtf?

Silver Creek is the newest and nicest indoor soccer venue in/near San Jose.  The fields are the largest in the area and are in good shape.  The referees have been pretty good in general.

They have some other good policies also - the relaxation on matching jerseys is nice, and they allow members of a team to pay individually instead of forcing once person to pay for everything and then have their teammates reimburse them.  (If you've ever been the one doing this, you know how much it can suck!)

Unfortunately, the place is way down south, so the drive after work can be horrific!  Also, the shop is completely hockey oriented. I forgot my shorts one day, and my choices were black Puma men's shorts ... and... black Puma men's shorts ... and that's it.  Don't forget your soccer equipment.  (But, the guys working in the shop were very nice.)

Overall, a pretty nice place.  I'll continue to play there.

My daughter has always been very shy and I was worried that it would not work out, but she has had a great experience. They are very disciplined there and firm with the kids, but they also use humor and fun in their interactions. She always has a great time and is learning so much!

I went to the grand opening of the sportsplex and have to say this place was very impressive. I was really amazed by this place. It is a huge structure and is completely state of the art.

The place has 3 roller hockey rinks and three indoor soccer fields. The fields are surrounded by glass and is great for viewing. The rink were very nice and they have a nice pro shop. I remember playing roller hockey at the Golden state roller rink / Roxy's / Aloha skate (place changes names every year) on Blossom Hill before Oak Grove High School, and the facilities here were so much better. Would love to play here but I probably am no where near the skill level of the guys who play here now.

To top off my visit, I ran into Joe Thornton, Brian Campbell, and Patrick Marleau in the parking lot. They where their to sign autographs for the grand opening.

This place is nice inside, which it should be for being so new. High Five is very good for skating rink food.

That's where the positives end. It should be noted that I can't speak for anything except the hockey leagues. The new floors in the rinks are just awful. You can feel the bumps in the floor, it's like playing on that crappy rubber material in restaurant kitchens, only it's a lot slipperier.

I have never seen them clean the dust on the benches that pile up from people's skates. I can feel myself getting cancer by breathing it in every time I sit on the bench. Plus, it gets everywhere.

Most of the referees are bums. They usually chat it up with the opposing team the whole game and coincidentally don't call penalties on them. In addition, they and the scorekeepers get at least some of the stats wrong every single game. Funny story: I had taken the summer off from playing hockey and a player on the team I had been on got suspended one game. However, they suspended me because he happened to be wearing my number. The guy just wore a different number the following week and they never caught on. The only documentation they get right are team balances.

If I could afford it, Sharks Ice on 10th and Alma is the way to go. Unfortunately, this place just doesn't have the competition it needs when it comes to roller hockey leagues.

    Huge in size and price.

Has pretty much everything you would want in an indoor sports arena. Indoor soccer, indoor roller hockey, indoor bouncers for kids, indoor arcade games, and even indoor restaurant with outrageous prices. The place is huge to say the least, but at the same time no one even offers to help. I was getting flyers from the desk about sports stuff there and both the guys there did not even ask if they could help me, they were busy telling the kid who came to them for some help that they have nothing to do with the games area and he would have to go to some other desk to get help. This really turned me off since I have children as well and was thinking about having them come here for some things, but if they treat kids that way I think not. Especially for the cost of anything here. A birthday party for up to 20 kids is about $300 dollars without food and you can only buy the food from the eatery in the place. a single party size pizza will cost between $20-30 each.

All in all I do not recommend this place.

I have nothing bad to say about the quality of the facility's interior.  It is very modern and accommodates the amount of attendants well.  I also commend the facilities' cleanliness.  Additionally, the facility hosts good competition - at least at Rollin' Ice, where I still skate once a week.

That being said, the membership and team fees are too expensive for the extremely short, ten-game seasons, especially given each game is forty five minutes of running time and the playing surface is a flat court surface, as opposed to something costly and high-maintenance like ice.

Most outrageous, however, is the massive collection of vehicle-damaging speed bumps every fifteen feet in the parking lot.

Love this place so much.  Nothing like this in the bay area.  It has first class facility for all kind of sports and indeed a heaven for sports lovers.  You don't need to worry about weather at all.  And it is especially great for young kids to learn sports.  My son loves to go there for the martial arts class.  So glad we live so close by such a wonderful facility.

This huge complex has it all.  Whether you play sports or just looking for a place to go watch a game, this is the spot.  I play soccer 2 nights a week here and the staff is very friendly.  Even when I'm not playing, the local High Five Pizza located in the center is a great place to watch Sharks games etc.. and the food is great, not to mention a nice bar!

The Sports Plex is freakin awesome. I have played hockey here and before this new location opened and I love it! My kids also love playing on the giant jumpers in the LOL area.
