We were visiting the Oregon Gardens and stopped in this cafe for lunch beforehand. It's a casual place. We got lasagna, French Onion soup (lots of onions), both of which were delicious and clearly made in the kitchen from scratch. We also got a salad which was made from fresh greens, with hazelnuts and apple chunks, a totally proper great salad.
Two thumbs up. Cheerful young waitresses/cafe help too.
I recently had a customer gathering (very short notice) because it was HOT and we needed ice cream. Silver Creek Coffee House was very accommodating and made sure to have plenty of ice cream in stock and iced coffee for us. We all sat by the new air conditioner on couches and enjoyed a short break in our busy day.
I'm not a huge coffee drinker, but I had some time to kill and felt like a cup of tea. Silver Creek Coffee House has 2 areas, the larger main area where the counter is and another smaller area for studying or reading. I think they also make sandwiches and there may be wine tasting sometimes. The also have a computer with internet access for a small per minute fee. I like this place because it is independent and unique.
