I never been to a roller derby bought before and it was awesome.
Diana G. invited a bunch of us yelpers to go (sadly only a couple of us actually made it) and it was well worth the drive to San Jose to see it.  I am for sure going to to the game on Nov 14.
These roller Derby girls are impressive.  Two 30 minute halves would kill me.  Plus all the hits and pushes and butt blocks while skating.

Roller derby Girls are hot!

This was my first ever roller derby experience, and it exceeded all my expectations. I had a wonderful time!

This night it was SVRG vs. Orange County. Of course SVRG kicked ass, but I was very impressed with their competition as well. These girls were amazing to watch; true athletes indeed!

The energy among the crowd was amazing too. EVERYONE was into it and having a great time!

Can't wait for the next one ladies!

This sport is for the cheerleader who felt out of place on the squad, for the quiet girl who was picked on, and the tough chick who didn't take shit from anyone. This sport is for the house wife stuck at home with the same bullshit. Its your time now to come and join SVRG.

I love playing roller derby for SVRG.... I have never made so many genuine friends in my life. If you feel like something is missing in your life this may be it. Check it http://svrollergirls.com

SVRG carries a message, "We're not your gramma's derby girls"
There is no fake fighting, no staged elbows or knockouts. These girls are real athletes and when they hit, they don't hold back. Hope you're not too attached to those teeth.
Think Hockey on steroids with sex and rock and roll mixed in there.
This team has worked its tush off for the last few years to legitimize itself and represent all those mismatched girls from all blocks of life. If you found yourself not fitting in with most girls your whole life, you'll find a home in SVRG welcoming you arms wide open.

SVRG won their home bout last night! Woohoo!

Thanks SVRG for all your bouts.  You are awesome to watch hustle on the rink... great comeback last night.  Congrats to the team!  The next one I can make it out to won't be until June, but I am counting the days already!!!

Love the new shirts too!!!  When are you gonna tear em up???

I lost my voice half way through the bout, so I couldn't root by voice the last half (next time, I will save it for the last half).

coming soon to san jose skate!

i love my silicon valley roller girls! theyre rude, crude and tattoo'd. dont dare try to skate passed them, youre liable to end up on your ass via a c-block courtesy of TC, Sadie Mae Gutz or MisTits with them looking over and giving you that wink. ctatch that blur whizzing by you? maybe it was one of their jammers, Juice, Lipstick Bandita, Demise or Smack Dahlia.

this is a new and emerging southbay team with enough ovarian fortitude to make most men cover up. if youve ever been to a derby or not check em out and give em your support. the sport is loads of fun to watch, action around every turn and how can you beat fishnets and quad skates?

Support the Green and Black, go silicon valley roller girls!!
