I just got a pitbull puppy, he was such a sweetheart and I couldn't find too many pet sitters that would walk my little guy. They had no problem and he loves his sitters! Especially Chandel, and it was great to find an agency who didn't look down on "bully breeds"...very difficult to find. Thank you very much and he looks forward to seeing you again!!!!!

Several weeks ago I started looking for a Pet Sitter to look after my cat while I was going to be away on vacation. At that time I contacted Silicon Valley Pet Nanny several times and didn't get a response. I was confused as the ratings were so high on here.
When things go wrong you understand the value of a good company.
When I finally reached Carolyn live she explained that she had switched ISPs, and in the process some emails had gone awry. She immediately took steps to understand what I needed, and deliver services even though I was only a couple of days prior to departure.
I've since returned home from my trip. I received a couple of nice notes while I was away from Carolyn telling me how my cat was doing. She also left a full report on the dining room table when I came home last night. The cat was clean, fed, and well cared for. She seemed quite happy--which isn't always the case if I even leave her for weekend.
I'm happy to recommend Silicon Valley Pet Nanny. They did a fantastic job for me, and I will use their services again. What's most important for me is that when we did have an issue early on, Carolyn took immediate responsibility for the problem, and fixed it. Stuff happens, but it is how Silicon Valley Pet Nanny responds that sets them far apart from other services out there. -

We just went on a weekend vacation and for the first time in the 12 years that we have had our sweet dog, none of our usual friends or family could take care of her while we were away. I was in a panic because as sweet as she is, she is not instantly friendly with new dogs or new people and I didn't want to just take her to a kennel where she would be unhappy the whole weekend while we were on vacation trying to enjoy ourselves. I tried contacting several pet sitting services and none had sitters available for overnight stays on short notice. My mom found Silicon Valley Pet Nanny and sent me the contact info. I checked the reviews on Yelp and figured I would give them a try.
From the first moment I spoke to Carolyn I knew this was going to be a good fit. She is very understanding and put me at ease. She told me that one of her pet sitters, Sam would be able to sit for me. We met Sam the week before we left and it was a perfect match. Our dog was instantly at ease around her. We walked around and by the end of our conversation; Asha was really taken by Sam and was even lying down next to her! I have not seen her take to someone that quickly in a long time. Sam stayed overnight with her for 2 days and even called to let me know how she was doing.
I had a wonderful experience and I would defiantly recommend Silicon Valley Pet Nanny and plan on using them again. -

I started using Silicon Valley Pet Nanny about 2 years ago and will be using them again very soon. I have had nothing but great response from any question or concern, always felt comfortable and everything has been smooth. I love the little notes they leave detailing their visit as well as your animals personalities while they visited. I know my pets are in good hands. The service also picks up my mail, my newspaper, waters my plants and cleans litterboxes. I highly recommend Silicon Valley Pet Nanny.

I love this company. The pet Nanny's are always reliable, safe and affordable. I know my pets always look forward to having their sitter come take care of them. I know my pets are in great company when I leave on a business trip.

SV Pet Nanny is simply the best! We have two special needs kids. The female is very much a type A diva and the male is blind. Carolyn's group has had no issues or problems giving these two dogs the care and compassion that all of SV Pet Nanny's other clients receive. When we have used them for overnight stays, the dogs are thrilled to be able to spend time with Katy. I love the fact that the dogs don't cower or hide when they show up. In fact, both dogs can't wait to spend time with Carolyn or Katy. It's quite amazing. I'm so at ease with leaving my kids in their care. I couldn't be happier.

SV Pet Nanny is the most professional pet sitting business I've found. This is not a part-time job for Carolyn - this is a business. All of her "nannies" are insured and they've never failed me! My dog knows when Tuesdays and Thursdays roll around because Carolyn comes over at 11am to walk her. She's a bit depressed on the other days! I can't even say "Carolyn" in front of her as she immediately runs to the door. SV Pet Nanny has been very flexible - I had to stop service while my home was going through a remodel and when we started back up again it was on the same schedule. I feel safe leaving my home and my "kids" (cat included) in the hands of SV Pet Nanny. They are true professionals.

I'm so pleased and thankful to have found Silicon Valley Pet Nanny, but more importantly, my cat is THRILLED! Carolyn and her compassionate staff provide such loving, thorough and professional care. I was really reassured by the comprehensive pre-visit consultation, in which every aspect of my kitty's routine and possible emergency situation was covered. We came home to a happy, totally peaceful kitty which was a huge relief. Also waiting for us, amazingly, was a complete written report of our cat's activities and SVPN's interactions with her during our absence. The SVPN website at http://www.svpetnanny.com offers great information about services and what to expect, plus you can pay online (extremely convenient!). From start to finish, Silicon Valley Pet Nanny delivered an entirely impressive experience with a particular focus on excellent service that I highly recommend to any pet owner.

Silicon Valley Pet Nanny was referred to me by a neighbor who uses them for cat sitting services and she is completely happy with them. I hired them for their puppy services and although the owner seems very pet friendly and comfortable around animals, I could not say I had the same sentiment about her hired help. Read your contract carefully as it leaves you (the client) wide open and also be sure to observe the sitter with your pet. I was more disappointed with how the owner reacted to my concerns. Bottom line: Customer service was much less than expected and we do need more pet sitting services in the Silicon Valley that really train their staff for pet sitting. You can truly determine if a business can offer true customer satisfaction by how they react to issues as they come up, otherwise everyone claims superior service. The one that stands out is the one that stands by their claim.
