Dr. Campbell is an excellent vet and loves her patients.  I bought a whippet and went to her because she is familiar with the breed and their anesthesia sensitivities.  Dr. Campbell and her entire staff are all very friendly helpful and seem to genuinely care about your animals.

I have called Dr. Campbell for help with behavioral issues and she took 30-40 minutes to help me over the phone and is always receptive to my questions and concerns when we visit.

Her staff will also call a few days after your visit (depending on the purpose of the visit) to follow up on your pet's condition.

Silicon Valley Pet isn't the biggest, most high tech, or most heavily staffed, but if you want your pet to get almost family like attention, and have a vet who loves your pet as much as you do, welcome to silicon valley!

I have a 13 week puppy, and so far I am very happy with my experience with Dr. Cambell and her staff (so far 3 visits).   My dog loves going to the vet!  The staff members really treat the animals well, play with them and show them love so the vet is not a dreaded fearful experience for the pet.

The minute you walk in the door you can feel how Dr. Campbell and her staff genuinely care about theirs patients.  It's not rare to see them on the floor playing with the animals around.

Of course, if you own a whippet or any other sight hound going there is a no brainer.  Dr. Campbell expertise with these breeds is rare and we feel very lucky to have this vet within reach.

I just read the review from N R. and I don't know if they have the right place.  I've been coming here with my family for over nine years and the staff and doctor are great!  They have helped us out with behavioral problems as well as simple things like ticks on our dog.  I've seen a lot of different people come and go but what I've always gotten from them was their empathy to the animals.  My pets are not what you would call 'cute'.  I have and overweight beagle and a cat that hates to be brushed and I have never seen them raise their voice or hands at either one.  We left our dog here for boarding and he was fine when he was picked up.  Didn't show any signs of having been beaten.  Let me tell you, sometimes I want to throw him out the window as we're driving, that's how annoying he can be at home.  They put the welfare of the animals above anything else.  I will continue bringing my pets here.

I used Yelp to find a vet, and the recommendations for this place were spot on.  Dr Campbell was great with our two cats.

We had lots of questions, and she was very thorough, patient, and friendly.   She and her staff show a definite fondness for animals without being overly sensitive and mushy. Even when one of my cats took a warning swipe at her, Dr. Campbell wasn't fazed at all.   My kind of people.

I liked the fact that she has her own place, and there aren't 4 or 5 vets running around with tons and tons of patients.  Her suggestions of food and care were great, very similar to what I'd found with research on the net.

I was really glad to see that she didn't try to go gung ho on tests and treatments that weren't necessary for my cats.  She treated what was obviously wrong and didn't go looking for other things to be wrong just to make a buck.  I think it's a great approach.

I'm happy and my sick cat is getting better.

So thank you Yelp and thank you Dr. Campbell!

They get the job done. They're not amazing but they're not awful - I think if maybe I were a huge animal lover or something they'd probably like me more and we'd all be chummy.

As it stands, I've got a cat, and I'm like a cat. I'll stare at you impassively and get fed up with humans easily. And I'm not an effusive pet lover. I don't googoo over cute puppies, I just kick them.

Okay, I don't kick them, but I don't allow dog slobber, is all I'm saying, and only true pet lovers allow dog slobber.

If you are one of these ... odd ... people, you'll probably love these guys. One vet owns and is available in the office (Dr. Campbell), and she seems a total animal person, less interested in having anything to do with humans and more interested in understanding and focusing on your animal.

Which is a good thing! Just, you know, a little weird. Eccentric maybe. Absent-minded professor like? I dunno, she communes with my cat, not with me. But she does seem more like a dog person. That may be what the problem is. In any case when I come to the office I feel like I'm a city dweller and she's a druid - we're just different.

The staff is pleasant but is not necessarily interested in being "efficient/out-you-go, have a great day!" behind the desk. I'm always waiting around to pay or get a printout or whatever even though I'm the only one there and the task at hand isn't complicated. So things feel a bit chummy slow versus business fast. But some might say that's charming and gives a "local family vet" feeling. I wouldn't know, I've just got a cat that pretty much takes care of herself and I only comein here once a year. But I've been coming since 2002.

The digs aren't interested in appearances or regular updating, which I can understand since pets will tear things up just cuz they're bored. But they meet basic hygiene requirements and get the pet stuff done fast and easy.

I LOVE this clinic and I think Dr. Campbell is fabulous.  We discovered Silicon Valley Pet Clinic in 2004, after a disastrous experience with another vet left us needing a different doctor for our new whippet puppy.   Dr. Campbell breeds whippets, so we gave her office a try.  We couldn't be more pleased.  One of the things I love most about visiting this office is that it is very laid back.  Dr. Campbell never rushes people out the door.  Instead, she takes the time to answer questions (even when the person asking the questions asks too many of them)!  I also appreciate the security that comes with knowing that Dr. Campbell and her staff understand my breed's unique needs.  And, since I am partial to whippets, I enjoy the fact that I usually end up running into one or two whippets during an office visit.  Finally, in addition to being an excellent vet, Dr. Campbell is also actively involved with rescue, which is a big plus in my book.

About 1 1/2 years ago, we adopted a very senior whippet who had been dumped off at the Modesto shelter and ultimately ended up in rescue.  Our dog had myriad health problems, which Dr. Campbell and the persons working with her treated with a combination of western medicine, alternative medicine (e.g., chiro and emu oil) and lots of affection.  When things recently took a turn for the worst with our old girl, Dr. Campbell spent hours on the phone with me, answering my crazy questions and carefully explaining my options.  Two days ago,  when it became clear my dog was not going to get any better (through no fault of Dr. Campbell's), her advice and good counsel made it much easier for me to make the difficult decision to send my sweet girl to the Rainbow Bridge.

I wholeheartedly and enthusiastically recommend Silicon Valley Pet Clinic!
