This is what a picture when I think of cafes in small town America. The friendly waitresses and owner know everyone, and one even learned sign language to talk with my brother who was living up there. The food is hearty American favorites like brunch and burgers. The model train (hence the name) that runs along the picture molding keeps the kiddies (and me) entertained. If you are in gold country, this place is sure to please.

What a great place to have lunch or dinner. Friendly service, good foods, and low prices. I had the grilled ham sandwich with super delicious homemade potato chips. My wife had the clam chowder soup and said it was perfect. Recommend if you are in Grass Valley looking for a treat eat here, and be sure you try the homemade chips. Air is fresh, restrooms are clean.
