Even though my Chicago friend cries "blaspheme!" I have to say, this is some of the best thick-crust pizza I've ever had. Including that in Chicago.

Had it delivered to the Muddy Charles (#winning) and dug into the meat lovers something or other. Meat upon glorious meat piled in perfect layers complimented with cheese and a sturdy crust. No fork and knife needed!

I would budget 2 slices per person only if they are very hungry. One is fine!

Wow! I would NOT order from this place ever again. I placed an order at 655 for a thin crust veggie pizza and a 2 liter of soda. The pizza arrived at 820 (was supposed to be 45 minutes). The delivery man forgot my soda. (Which I paid $4 for.)  When I bit into the pizza, it wasn't even remotely cooked. The dough was raw.

I called to complain and the man who answered the phone argued with me for 5 minutes saying that it was cooked (How does he know? Is he in my hotel room?) He claimed that the veggie pizza was hard to cook because it had so many veggies on it. That's funny... other pizza restaurants have figured it out.  He said he would send me another pizza, but it would be a while because they are very busy. I said I wanted a refund, because the pizza was inedible and I couldn't wait 2 hours for another one. He said he would have his manager call me back in 2 hours.

The delivery man returned to bring my soda, and I gave him the pizza back... we'll see about the refund.

I'm out 17$ with no soda and no pizza.... what a terrible place. Bad customer service and disgusting food!

I just called back and the manager said to me that I better take my "stupid review off of Yelp because it is immature and I am retarded."

We have been long time goers here in Boston! And let me say we love it every time.

We have dined in and we have also used them for delivery. Both are great! The shop is family ran. You can tell in a very good way. They care about getting your order right and making you happy!

We normally do a pizza with an app to share. Other times we have each done a kaba with an app. Either way we always end up spending less than $25.00 total. So its a great deal.

If you order out they normally will make it to your place in less than 40 minutes. Perfect for us. Out of the dozen times we have ordered out they have never been late.

Eating in is also amazing! They take your order and you just go sit and wait for them to bring it to you. They are always super friendly and out to make you happy. Let me tell you they do a good job here too!

So not matter what...If your eating in or ordering out its great every time! There is a reason why when we want pizza we just instantly agree...Sicilia's? Sure!

Perfect 5/5! You can not go wrong with these guys!

To those who place delivery orders: if you want really hot pizza (or any other hot dish) don't have it delivered - get off your lazy butt and go somewhere to eat.  Even Domino's, a company built to deliver, can't bring a pizza that's the same temperature as one taken from an oven and brought to your table.  The alternative is to order something cold; it can't get colder unless it's kept on a car/truck roof in the winter before delivery.  In Boston, that includes subs - most are oven-toasted (and better than the cold stuff in other places).  I always am in disbelief when people complain about something that could have been avoided by their own actions or inactions.  Review the food at Sicilia's honestly, using the same criteria that are applied to all similar restaurants and then it will mean something, but to crucify a restaurant for doing the impossible is childish.  I understand about criticizing wait time, or prices, or forgotten/wrong items, but expecting restaurant temperature food from a delivery? You wouldn't expect it from take-out, but you do for delivery? Come on.

I like their thin-crust pizza better than the thick-crust because I can taste the great sauce instead of having it hidden by extra bread. That's a matter of preference; mine, so I wouldn't complain or criticize the thicker crust pizza.  They also have some decent Mediterranean food as well. In the end, it's a no-frills joint that does a pretty good job for what it is.

Typical pizza joint. Not pretentious, which is sometimes just a breath of fresh air. Especially when that air smells like pizza.

My favorite part was the cheese. I wasn't a big fan of the sauce.

    Worst Pizza EVER!

Here we go--check the uploaded pictures I added to witness the horror.

This is, by FAR, the absolute worst pizza I've ever experienced.  Terrible dough and crust, it's flaky and synthetic-tasting with no smell to it: it actually tastes and looks like cardboard (I am not kidding, my friend actually said that after his first and only bite).  I only ate it because I paid and hate to waste food, but seriously, it's the most terrible pizza ever.  Worse than frozen pizza (even the generic Shaws brand), worse than the pizza you get from Eddie's--if you're from Brookline, you might remember Eddie, the food truck that sells various goods by the high school.  Ah, good times, good times.

Anyway, back to the pizza, it's disgusting!  The sauce, which most will agree, is the cornerstone of the pizza, here is a pasty tomato blah that makes the thing taste even worse!  The cheese is, um, just cheese.  Back to the dough, I have never ever left a crust behind and for the first time I left all the crust because well, I really could not eat it.  Oh, the horror, the horror!

This place was just about EMPTY when I came in--dinner time on a Saturday!  One guy sitting in the back on his laptop and that's it.  I waited 10 minutes for my pizzas and no one came in.  Being located across from Boston University, you'd figure they'd get more business but now I know why.  Pathetic excuse for a pizzeria.

People who love this place make me wonder if they lost their taste buds or something.  My review is solely based on the food quality, not the service, though the service sucked too.  The cashier guy cheated me out of 30 cents, but no big deal so I didn't make it an issue.  I called in my order of 2 regular cheese pizzas, went there to pick them up 20 minutes later and still had to wait 10 more minutes (and they weren't even busy!).  *confused*

Pizza is something we can eat everyday for a year, vow never to eat it again, but crave it after a month.  So it's very disappointing that Sicilia fucked it up so bad.  If you want decent to good pizza, up a few blocks is T. Anthony's (they used to be a lot better, before they started hiring students or whatever who really don't care if you like it or not).

If  you want the BEST PIZZA in Boston, you need to try Santarpio's in East Boston!  It's the first exit out of the Sumner Tunnel, heading to Logan Airport.  You won't be disappointed!  Long standing family business and they're actually Italians who know how to make a great pizza.  Pizzeria Regina's is great too!  Probably the two best places for pizza in Boston.  But my heart is with Santarpio's.  All they have there is pizza and appetizers of lamb on skewer and sausages, that's it!  No salads, no subs, nothing.  Strictly pizza which is great, I think.  Prices are very good, lots of locals, lots of celebrity photos, always packed, lots of free off-street parking, just a great place.  Hmm, maybe I should just write a review for them!  Duh, right?!

Hope my review helps!  So when you walk by Siciia's, keep walking!  There's a reason that fuckin' place is always empty and I, actually, hope they close down, unless they make some serious changes!  Argh!

***UPDATE: Filed Police Complaint against Owner of Sicilia's for Harassment.***

Shortly after my review, I started getting harassing and threatening calls from a BLOCKED number and my phone account got hacked 5-6 times.  I told this random guy to knock it off, but he kept calling and trying to scare me hiding behind his BLOCKED number.  This went on for days.  I filed a complaint with the police since he clearly wasn't going to stop, got his number and information and turns out it's the owner of Sicilia's.  The police paid him a visit and remind him that harassing customers isn't how you deal with bad reviews.  So basically he used the number I called to order the pizzas to harass me.  All this over someone who didn't like the pizza.  Sad.

If you like their pizza, go ahead and enjoy it.  This is my experience with the place.  If you haven't realized the new fake accounts trashing me and 5-staring Sicilia's, then go try it out for yourself.

    Gah, all this over a *beep*in' pizza...sheesh.

Everything was below average. Would not recommend it.

    What I tried:
    1. Chicken Alfredo Fettuccine: asked them to make it spicy, eventually the dish had no taste. portion was big no doubt, or so it seemed coz 2 people could not finish it. The past, the sauce and the chicken felt like they had just been thrown together and served.
    2. Slice of Spinach and cheese deep dish pizza: for a place that claims to have good deep dish pizzas, this was a major let down to say the least.

Just to give them a second chance, if I were to ever go here again, I would try a fresh deep dish gourmet pizza.

Great prices though the "pizza" they serve is a little iffy, and by that I mean its not really pizza...

Sicilia's uses what is definitely a pre-made crust, and looks more like it was cut out with a super-sized cookie cutter than anything.  The Stuffed pizza tastes ok, but thats only b/c of all the extra cheese and sauce masking the taste of the crust.  NEVER, I repeat NEVER get the regular pizza the crust is awful.   The thin crust is marginally better b/c there is much less crust.  But wait, I've got a better idea, take a walk two blocks down the street to T-Anthony's and get a decent pizza.

Please note the following review is only for delivery, two instances to be specific.

There were few dining options when we arrived at our hotel late.  It had been a long day of travel across the country and thankfully there was pizza delivery that gave us the opportunity to unpack, shower and wait for dinner in our pajamas.  Our order came quickly within the promised time frame.  The pizza was appropriately meaty and not over-sauced.  The chef salad was made according to my request and honestly that hummus sandwich was enough for two!

The second time we used their delivery service was toward the end of a very robust day at PAX East.  After concerts and several rounds at a hotel bar, my companions realised that food was in order and quickly.  I called them and the employee who took down my order was very accommodating as I explained that yes, I did order when I was at the Colonnade but no, it didn't need to go to our room.  This order needed to go to the Sheraton bar.  Again the pizza arrived within the promised time frame and my Greek salad was festooned with as much feta as any girl could want.

Overall their menu items were sound and as promised.  It wasn't the best pizza I had ever had but in both instances, necessity dictated the enjoyment.  But to be clear, it wasn't bad food either.  It was perfectly serviceable late night grub and when you don't have a car or access to room service, it works just fine.

So I got this gutsy negative reply from the business owner on my yelp account after giving this restaurant 3 stars from my first experience.

John F. "Business Owner" writes to me in response to my former review:

"1st off sicilias is under management.. This place has been run down because it's been here for 15 years... Sicilias was once the best pizzeria in Boston. We try and keep our slices fresh and try not to give anyone an old slice.. But cheap people as yourself only buy slices.. If you are patient with us we always offer fresh slices.. So before you go writing retarded reviews.. Why don't you try giving our food a chance first..  Were you hired by our compititipn to write this? Second we start renovations on Monday! So why don't you come down here and let me make you the best pizza you've ever had in your life! How's that for an offer.. You can't judge a pizza place by one slice and then try to ruin there business. You up for the challenge buddy?"

    Very unprofessional don't you think?

Sicilia's meatlovers stuffed pizza = a marriage of sausage, pepperoni, hamburg, and bacon.

I never knew a pizza could weigh ten pounds.  I tried to play it cool when I was tipping my delivery guy while trying to balance this absurd brick of a pizza box.

I love love love thin crust pizza. The thin crust pizza here is awful.

Ok fine, they are famous for their stuffed pizza so we give that a shot, but it too misses the mark.

    Delivery was super slow also.

The only redeeming factor (and why they get two stars instead of one) is the jalapeno poppers. They are the cream cheese kind (my fave!), enormous & sinfully delish. Also, very few places carry the cream cheese variety, and even fewer have them AND are open til 2 am.

I have never actually stepped foot in this place, nor do I know where exactly it is, but memories of the stuffed pizzas still haunt me.

Back when the BF and I were Sicilia's noobs, we ordered a large meat lovers stuffed pizza topped with buffalo chicken pieces and extra tomato sauce -- this was a mistake.  We each ate one piece and immediately had to take a nap; the rest fed us for a week (Luckily, Sicilia's pizzas are just as good the next day...and the day after...).  Now that we are older and wiser, the BF and I stick with the small stuffed pizza, half green peppers half onions, no toppings, but even then it's usually a struggle for us to finish the whole thing.

Sicilia's clearly does not believe in portion control -- it's a wonder Bostonians aren't fatter.

Awesome deep dish pizza, stuffed with very real mozzerella.  Do yourself (but definitely not your weight, blood pressure, or cholesterol) a favor and order a Secilia's special.  Mmmmmm sausage, pepper, onion goodness.  Don't even bother with the thin crust or really anything else.

A small stuffed crust pizza probably weighs almost 8lbs by itself.  So yes, this is not your cheap everyday sort of pizza.  This is your 'I'm starving, and could eat a horse sized block of cheese" sort of pizza.  They are open late, deliver within 40 minutes generally, and something different in this city where crispy thin crusts seem to rule.

Believe it or not, the pizza options are actually kind of limited around Brookline. I've exhausted Village Fare for now; enough is enough when the delivery people know you by name. Inbound is decent, I suppose, but I wanted something different last night. So I had to call on my resident Brookline expert, Shannon B., to steer me in the direction of some new pizza to try out. Sicilia's it was.

God bless technology. Being able to order your food online through Foodler is a wonderful thing. About half an hour after ordering, opportunity knocked on my door. And by opportunity, I mean pizza and garlic bread. The prices are pretty reasonable, too.

The pizza was decent. I think I ordered the thin-crust instead of the Chicago style. The cheese came off the pizza rather easily. While I like gooey cheese, I also don't want naked pizza. Ultimately, however, this didn't prevent me from chowing down like a fat kid. The garlic bread was decent and potent; I could taste garlic even after rigorous flossing, brushing, and mouthwashing.

I'll probably order from Sicilia's again, but next time I'll try the Chicago style and see what all the hub-bub is about.

You know when you weigh your take-out pizza options, you get this little heirarchy inside your head, almost like that pyramid they use to teach you food groups, or Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs, where at the bottom is the stuff you need to survive, and at the top is the ultimate enlightenment, or Self-Actualization?

You mean you don't think of your pizza options like that? Well I DO, and when I think of that self actualizing pinnacle of pizza awesomeness, I think of Sicilia's Stuffed Crust. A backstory, if you will:

I lived in the outskirts of Chicago for exactly 11 months, and when I moved there, I didn't know dick about pizza. I was raised on greasy local pizza, and then Pizza Hut came to town, and that's all fine and good if you want bad gas, and then when I went to college, I got the local divey joint delivering pizza at all hours in the morning, because i wasn't very explorative, but that's like... a whole different issue. So when I got to Chicago, someone introduced me to the fabled "stuffed crust pizza" of Lou Malnati's. It was like super expensive but tasted like it was made out of ambrosia from the Gods. tomato, cheese, and dough ambrosia.

So Sicilia's is JUST LIKE THAT. When I want to spend a little more than i should on a pizza, but feel like every dollar I spend translates into a full mouth and belly of amazing pizza goodness, I get Sicilia's.

OK now for the practical part of my review. If you order on the weekdays, they seem to do a better job with the pizza, and they get it to you faster. If you order on the weekends, you are retarded. The pizza is of a slightly lower quality and it takes longer to get to you. Not taking a star away from them on that one, though, because the pizza is that good.

I have also ordered onion rings and they were satisfactory, as far as onion rings go. But I stick by my original sentiment, that the stuffed crust pizza is the only thing you should be ordering on the menu, and they could make a fortune selling them.

Unfortunately, I've never stepped foot in the place so I can't give you a rundown of their "internal" operations. But WTF does that matter when the pizza puts you in such a complacent and satisfied mood?

It don't matter. There, I said it.

Oh man, what a dilemma I had yesterday. I recorded Throwdown with Bobby Flay on my DVR and decided to watch it around 7pm last night with my girlfriend.

This week's throwdown: Chicago-style deep dish pizza. A torturous 30 minutes later both of our stomachs were growling and craving only one thing: deep dish pizza.

Problem: We are in Boston, not Chicago. What can I do?

After posting a thread about where I could acquire such a specialy product here in Beantown I was referred to this place on Commonwealth avenue. I was trying to avoid Pizzeria Unos as much as possible although they make a mean one! Especially that farmers one which tastes awesome, but they are a chain and I'd much rather support a local shop instead...

We loaded up Foodler and here we are, ordering the very same thing we saw on TV, to be delivered right to the apartment an excruciating 55 minutes later.

We tried the meat lovers one and got it medium sized. That sucker must have weighed at least 8 lbs. I kid you not, the thing was monstrous! I was scared when I opened up that pizza box lid. Seriously.

It tasted pretty good and was very decently priced. That thing could have fed an army of twelve, easily. Thirteen even!

The delivery guy was lazy and didn't come up to the unit, he called me and told me to come down, despite the big tip I left. That sucked, especially since I was watching the game. Oh well...

They need to add some more varieties of their deep dishes to their menu. The chain Pizerria Unos has some interesting ones that they should rip off, with more vegetables, kinds of cheeses and meats. But despite the small selection, it was pretty good! I'd definitely get more in the future!

It's Sunday afternoon, and some lovely BU ladies and I met at Sicilia's for the rundown of last night's debauchery.

You hooked up with Corey last night? No sir!

That Brazilian guy you met last week at Sanctuary is STILL blowin' up your phone? Whoa.

Some creepy Euro dude followed you home from Rumor? What!

Although this pizza joint is across the street from the girls' apartment, they hadn't visited since they first moved in. So for our post-Saturday gossip sesh, we decided to be adventurous and try out Sicilia's (we saw a sign outside - 2 slices of cheese/pepperoni for $4 - and our broke-ass selves dashed in).

We ate our hungover hearts out, and left with just enough cash to still buy enough shots Sunday night (welcome to the life of a rockstar, children).

    Success!

This place has gut busting stuffed pizzas.  Don't get me wrong, the stuffed Za is jammin' and the regular pies are "whatevs".  It's the spaghetti plates that suck b@llz up in this piece.  The spaghetti is not remotely al-dente and things are just getting ridiculous when you order a large steak and cheese and it shows up looking like an extra small.
I must discontinue writing this review. I am so baked right now I can't think straight.
I just ordered from here too. What am I talking about!   Just order the BBQ Chicken stuffed pizza (if you're only one super high person, make sure to get the baby one. The large is enough for like 5 people)

Being the really smart person that I am, I thought, well everyone loves pizza... I'll just grab a few at this place down the street from class, and I'm gravy right?
    WRONG.
This pizza was nearly inedible. Rubbery cheese, zero flavor, and even though I called it in hours in advance, it was not ready for half hour after I was supposed to pick it up.

    2.5 Stars.

I'm sorry, I cant give this place anymore than an average rating at best.
    It' s uber average.

I have a really simple way of quantitatively assessing a pizza place: You know how  good the pizza is depending on how long it lasts in the house after initial delivery.  This seems somewhat obvious, but its shockingly effective,...like upper crust lasts about 24 hours when the BF is here, and crazy doughs went pretty fast.

Some of the Sicialia's pizza actually made it to the garbage- ouch, never a good sign.

I mean, its not (italics) bad per se, but I won't order again  unless nothing else is open.

Sorry to be harsh, but I take my stars seriously :) .

Bottom Line:  Is anything, (italics) anything better open? Then go with that.

I moved to LA four years ago, and every time I head back home to visit, this is one of the places I have to eat.  Or more accurately, order from.  I've never set foot in the place, but I've ordered from them many times.

The delivery service is quite thrifty considering that it takes them so long to cook a stuffed pizza, and they've always been pleasant over the phone.

We were having a high school movie night and we decided to try some place other than Pizza Ring for a change, so we found these guys in the phone book and ordered one of these mysterious "stuffed pizzas."  At first we thought we were getting screwed because in terms of diameter a large stuffed pizza is about equal to a Boston small pizza.  We were pissed.  But we paid and opened the boxes, and at that moment we realized that we were staring into the face of God.

These stuffed pies are so good; the crust is the perfect consistency deep dish... not quite a pastry crust, but certainly more delectable than a regular pizza crust.  The crust alone is worth the entire pizza... but then so is the rest of it.  The cheese is excellent, and there's just so much of it, it may be overwhelming to some... you may require a bit of alcohol to be able to take it all in.  The sauce is great; making good sauce for a pizza is an art that many people overlook.  It takes the right spice to sauce ratio, and requires precision; you have to get that balance between excess and deficiency, just enough that you notice it but not so much that it detracts from your overall experience.

And the marinara on the top of the pizza.... is just amazing.  I would normally order these just cheese and sauce, and couldn't finish an small on my own because they're so densely prepared... and I'm no small man.

If only I could figure out a way to get one to Los Angeles, maybe I'd consider staying here longer.  In all seriousness, the best deep dish pizza you're gonna find.

I mean, my memory is a little blurred from the alcohol content in my blood during my visit- but I do remember that the pizza was meh. On the other hand, the service staff was super nice, especially for having to deal with annoying drunk people starting at 9pm... There was even a point when I awkwardly walked to get my pizza when they were planning on bringing it to my table, so we sort of passed each other and I had to shamefully turn around and walk back to my table. The girl laughed (not at me, but with me... I think) so I didn't feel too stupid.

Thirsty? They actually give you GLASS cups to fill with water, free of charge. I felt extremely special.. although it probably wasn't a big deal at the time. The crust was surprisingly delicious for being a NY style pizza- but the cheese, sauce and pepperoni weren't anything special. They were so close to being a 4-star drunken pizza stop!! It still probably won't stop me from going the next time..

I have been here enough times to hurt my heart, my cholesterol, but not my wallet.

The old man behind the tall counter will tell you it will be a while, doesn't matter if you order the stuffed pizza, or the thin crust, both are a wait. This place is fantastic for people watching though, either indoors or out.

If you are in your right mind, you go with the small size pizzas. Don't mess with a large pizza (stuffed, or otherwise) unless you have atleast 5 people diving into that box with you.

The prices are decent, the hours are unbelievable, the parking is nonexistent. I haven't ever had anything but pizza from this place, but at two bucks a slice, it's a good choice in my book.

By far and away my favorite pizza joint in Boston. Why??? Well, I grew up in Chicago and it's the only place around that I've found that serves genuine Chicago Style Stuffed Pizza. Tons of cheese, packed with what ever you want, topped with excellent tomato sauce and wrapped in a delicious buttery crust. Absolutely amazing!!!

Don't be fooled by places such as Pizzeria Uno, who claim to make real Chicago Style pizza. If you want the real deal, go to Sicilia's.

Only slight draw back is that due to the fact that so much goes into making a stuffed Pizza, they usually take about 45 minutes to make...but its DEFINITELY worth the wait. so, if you decide to go and eat at Sicilias, my advice is to call and order ahead, so when you get there your pizza has already been cooking and you only have to sit and wait for about 10 minutes.

Another tip in ordering here, if you just want to pick-up a pizza "to go" you can order it as "half cooked" which means that the make and for the most part bake it, but it only takes about 20 minutes. Then you bring it home, put it in the Oven for another 20 minutes until its heated to perfection. This again, is another way to save a little time.

Additionally one other total bonus about this place is that they're open until 3am and as long as you place an order by 2:59am, they're bring it over to you. Talk about great customer service!

Seriously, THE BEST BEST PLACE! everyone is kind and considerate and they genuinely care about their customers...

I ordered from here the other night, and who else takes the order, the 'legendary!' JP. He threw in a few treats for the few of us up studying so late (and I hurt my leg...) our pizza arrived along w/ 2 huge, warm, delicious chocolate chip cookies (cookies-YUM! pizza + cookies YUM squared!). The receipt said 'So, See JP!'

It's delicious, I liked stopping in, when I used to be on the main campus.

*Reminisce time: There was (used to be :( , it's probably a starbucks now) a pizza place back home (I'm from the Midwest), that was so homey. Parents with their kids, or just groups of kids would come and squish into booths and everyone would have so much fun over slices of pizza. It was great!

I like this place b/c it has all the comforts of home, and yummy cheesy goodness!!!!! hmmmm, I'm probably due for a slice over at Sicilia's.....YUUUUUM!

Ok so 1-2-3....TAG! YOU'RE IT! NOW GO! RUN! get over to Sicilia's! GO!

Note: This review is for delivery ONLY.

This place would've been a 3-star guarantee based on the taste of the stuffed pizza I'm presently eating...but I just can't give it to you, Sicilia's. In fact, it's only thanks to the taste of this stuffed pizza that you're even getting two stars, because everything about this delivery experience begs for 1...I just can't bring myself to give you one star when this is our first tango. Maybe this is just a huge oversight...maybe one of you is having a terrible night over there, and hey, in the aftermath of St. Patrick's Day, that's entirely possible, right?

I ordered this food from you at 1am. It's 3:30 am now, and my order JUST arrived. I'm pretty patient about slow delivery. Driving in this town can be something of a craps shoot, and there are more than a few annoying intersections near my place...I'm sympathetic.

Two and half hours, though? At this time of night?

More than that, when I called to see if I could leave a message with them -- assuming that they were closed and foodler had made a mistake -- about refunding my card since my order was obviously not coming, they didn't answer. I let the phone ring for several minutes in hopes I'd get some sort of answering machine...nope.

My onion rings are practically refrigerated. Not just cool but actively cold...and the pizza would probably have been awesome before it got tepid and the bottom became soggy, but now it's just decent...or maybe that's the fact that I'm RAVENOUSLY EFFING HUNGRY.

The worst part of all of this is that we assumed the food wasn't coming, and we placed an order with a different restaurant. We now have a SECOND order of food on the way, that we won't even have enough room to eat, because we were unable to even get ahold of anyone to find out what the story was with our first order.

I'm not saying not to try Sicilia's. Maybe, as I say, it was a really bad night. But this is probably my worst delivery experience in the area for a very, very long time, so buyer beware, and don't order if you're already dying to put something into your stomach!

This place is solid Chi-town pizza (as least as far as the East Coast goes!).  The prices are just right -- $11 for a two-topping pizza for two people, not too shabby.

If you're familiar w/ the "Big 3" of Chicago pizza (Giordano's, Gino's East and Lou Malnati's) which are all pretty different from each other, Sicilia's is most like Giordano's.  The only reason I couldn't give this place 5 stars was they had the t.v. on pretty loud and then some men started talking loudly in Arabic.  On well, I'll be going back for more soon!

Sicilia's Pizza is the place for stuffed pizza in the Boston area. I get pizza delivered by them fairly often. You should know beforehand that the delivery is probably going to take an hour and that the people who work there aren't very nice. Sometimes it can take even longer and one time I ordered shortly before closing and the pizza never came. That said, when it comes, you will get a delicious stuffed pizza that is a TON of food. Most people can eat two slices maximum before they are full.

I recommend ordering spinach, onions, garlic, mushrooms, etc. The spinach particularly makes for a delicious layer of flavor.

Sicilia's gains sooo many extra points for their late-night availability and even more so, late-night DELIVERY availability.   Come on, let's face it.  You just went to the Paradise and you're a sweaty mess of a thing.  You stumble home and your go-to chips and salsa just aren't going to cut it.  It's 2:15 in the morning.  Oh, haaaay, Sicilia's.

This is not gourmet pizza, or anything even close.  It's late-night drunky-drunky food.  And the best in town for that by far.

So Sicilias does a lot right, but one thing they do is unbelievable, and they have been doing it since I first gor it in 1998.

    STUFFED PIZZA.

    It is simply:
crust on the bottom, then a metric ton of cheese and toppings, andother layer of crust, and marinara on top.

The crust is actually buttery, flakey, and layered but has the structural integrity to uphold the pizza (like a croissant on steroids).  The delivery time is slow, but these pizzas are not made in 5 minutes, and worth the wait.

Do be warned that each slice of stuffed pizza is like 2-3 slices of a normal pizza the same size.  The personal stuffed pizzas rock.  10 years ago you could pre-order personal stuffed pizzasa to be made and frozen.  You could pick them up and cook them at home in like 40-60 minutes....it was awesome.  I do not know if they still do this.  Also it says they are open until 2 AM, but they will keep delivering as long as orders are flowing in.  On the weekends they are frequently open until 3Am, and the lateste I have ever seen a stuffed pizza show up was at 5 AM!!! (That happened once and it was a one in a million thing I think)

So in short if you are looking for one of the best pizza experiences in your life order a stuffed pizza from Sicilias...Oh yeah when you get the pizza turn it on the cardboard otherwise the condensation builds, and the dough sticks to the carboard and it messes up the entire experience.

    Good Pizza, Great Wings.

Sicilia's Pizzeria's grew to city-wide fame when it was added to the CampusFood service, and not without good reason. First off, of the plethora of delievery and near-Northeastern pizza joints, Sicilia's is by and far the best pizza. The sause is delicious, the cheese is just right, and while It's not the best pizza I've ever had, but it's damn good at a resonable price, and they deliever fairly late.

But where Sicilia's shines are their wings. Breaded and served with Blue Cheese, they are delicious. The party pack of wings can feed a few people, and is well-worth the cost.

I've never had a order not delievered correctly by Sicilia's, which is a rarity in Boston. But the one downside as others have mentioned is the fact that they usually take about an hour to deliever no matter what you order.

Give Sicilia's a try, especially for some late-night munchies, and you won't regret it.

While I don't think we have the same definition of deep dish - they do make a good pie!

It was nowhere near where we were, and it was not close to where we were going - but rumor had it Sicilia's made the best deep dish in town, so we made the trek!  It was a hot Saturday afternoon so we hopped on the motorcycle.  When we walked in we were the only ones there and joked with the staff about it - they were nice, and laughed with us - talking about being the best kept secret and that now the rush was going to come in because we were there (ha ha ha HOW did they know that we are so awesome?!  Hmm, must be the shoes...)

When I think deep dish, I think lots of thick thick doughy goodness - PERFECT for the Dairinator (the enemy of all that is cheesy and lactose!!).  Ok, ok, so I am not a super hero with a cool name, I cannot leap tall buildings, fight crime OR eat cheese - ya got me!  Unfortunately, Sicilia does their deep dish in layers, cheesy layers (of death...for me).

They have this cool idea of a high walled, layered/stuffed pizza with cheese and whatever else you order topping wise in the middle AND on top.  Now - this would be AWESOME for the average pizza fan - but, not the girl who is in it for the thick doughy goodness  :(

Even so, they accommodated my need for a sans cheese-zza and only mildly poked fun at me for it ha ha yeah yeah yeah I am the only lactose intolerant person whose favorite food is pizza - I KNOW!

And I have to say - the sauce, the bread and the ham is pretty good - just need more of it!

Only thing holding back from 5 stars - thick doughy goodness, there I said it!

I want lots and lots of dough, some sauce and some ham.  You find the place in Boston that calls THAT deep dish and I am THERE!  (Probably every night!)
