The operative word here is FRESH.

The staff is very friendly. The dining room is comfortable. The parking is a bit nightmarish on weekends.

I always pay close attention to the daily specials and the waiters are always eager to recommend dishes.

Their seasoning is bright, their ingredients always taste fresh. Their fish, shell fish are always cooked to the point where they are still juicy and tender and the vegetables are cooked to remain snappy. That always impresses me.

I've had the best glazed sea bass ever (it's not  a regular dish and I don't think it's particularly Siamese but who's keeping score?) and their curry mixes are rich and refreshing.

The duck and chicken dish is great in winter.

I've had all their soups and they are all good. I'm trying to stay away from coconut milk, so I've been ordering the Tom Yums exclusively.

Their Pork Panang is delicious and all their meat with vegetables dishes are great.

Their Pad Thai is a bit too sweet but if you order it spicy hot, the sweetness really works.

In my opinion, this is the best Thai restaurant in Fort Lauderdale...not that I've been to all of them, but I've been to a few,

I come here on a fairly regular basis. Consistently GOOD Thai. I've never left thinking, 'I wish I went somewhere else.' I come here with friends or out of town guests, too.

They have the best Thai in town, hands down. Their curries are especially good. I usually stop myself from licking the plate... *usually. Oh, they have real Thai beer, too.

Gotta love it!

*in fact, they have such a solid menu that they've never needed to advertise; everyone returns with friends in tow.

Siam Cuisine, on the South side of Wilton Manors, is one of Greater Ft.Lauderdale's best Thai restaurants (pretty much on par with Galanga, depending on what you order.)

The food is usually fresh and the menu offers a good variety; from Thai to Sushi to fusion.  Reservations are recommended if you're going on a weekend night.

The restaurant expanded in 2005, but kept it's rustic Thai charm, reflected in the hand carved statues, solid wood paneling, multiple Buddahs, and trendy wall-hangings.

The staff is usually friendly and helpful.

Food: A  (HINT: if you're new to Thai cuisine, try the "Pad Thai". You can usually judge the quality of a Thai restaurant by how good the "Pad Thai" tastes.)
Price: A- ( a decent value for the quality)
Service: B (a bit slow sometimes but usually helpful)
Atmosphere: A- ( trendy and cozy)
Front End: A- (the register is awkwardly placed and it's hard to know which is best, do I pay my waiter or do I go to the register? --- HINT: Going to the register is faster.)
Location: A  (2.1 miles from downtown Ft. Lauderdale)
Valet parking: NA (small on-premises lot but a very short walk to the old and new municipal lots of Wilton Manors.)
Overall: A-

I went there for the first time today, and ordered the lump crab meat in red curry.  I liked it, although the curry was slightly (very slightly) salty.  From what I've heard, the seafood here is usually good.  I ordered the crab because you don't get that at many other Thai places.

Siam Cuisine is somewhat on the expensive side for Thai Food.  Most entrees were between $15 and $20.  I usually pay around $10 to $15 for Thai.
