My wife and I used to order delivery from here on occasion about a year or two ago, but when we moved to a new neighborhood in town that is still being developed, we stopped ordering there because we found it too much of a pain to explain to delivery drivers where we live, when our address doesn't come up on MapQuest or Google or GPS. I have just recently become a Yelper, and I try to not review a place unless I have eaten there recently, because we all know how fast a restaurant can go downhill. So last night, the wife and I were hungry for Thai, and decided to place a pick-up order at Siam Classic. It did not disappoint.

I was told when I placed the order that they would have it ready when I got there, so come on over. Parking was easy and convenient (if you know Old Town) but I can imagine it being a pain on a busy night. The food was ready when I arrived and the staff was pleasant. I had never been inside before - it is smaller than I thought, but quaint. I will bring my extended family here for a future dinner.

The food was basically as I remembered it two years ago. I ordered my go-to appetizer, the Crispy Beef appetizer. This was the only slight disappointment - the sticky rice that came with it was good but not as flavorful as I remembered. My wife got the fried crab rolls appetizer, which are basically crab balls, and they were outstanding. For entrees, my wife got her usual pad thai with shrimp, while I got the Chu Chee with beef from the specials menu. The wife loved her dish, and the Chu Chee was excellent, very smooth and flavorful.

Spice level here seems to be a bit lower than most places. I ordered my dishes at a 10 spicy, and they seemed to be what most places would call a 7 or 8. I certainly felt the kick (especially later that night) but I've had hotter "10's". Entrees seem to be on par or maybe a tad higher than other Thai places, and food portions about the same or maybe a tad smaller. But the quality of the food makes up for any of the perceived shortcomings in these areas.

I have several times eaten at what many consider the top Thai restaurant in America - Lotus of Siam in Las Vegas. And I can tell you that Siam Classic is my second favorite Thai place (nothing beats Lotus). I certainly haven't eaten at every Thai place in the DC area, but I doubt that there is one better.

I really like this place. The staff is great and friendly.
Best dishes are the Num Tok, and the Royal Pad Thai Noodles with Chicken.
I also love the Spicy Garlic Pork. For being Manassas this is a great Thai Place. You will be happy with it.

Ok, here it is. My long awaited visit and review to Siam Classic. After reading all the positive reviews I had to try it to see what the fuss was about. We all know a lot of yelpin' women love them some Pad See Ew. (Well at least I do because every time I review my standard dish I get lots of feedback.) So. Let us begin.
We had to go around the block twice because this restaurant is small. When mini me finally saw the big red letters that spelled out T-H-A-I on the BACK of the bldg. we laughed & decided to park. (And at this point I wished we had brought the mini for easy access!) Though SC may be small it's by far one of the cleaner establishments I've dined at.
The smiling hostess seated us immediately. We looked over the Thai version of a lengthy Cheesecake Factory menu. Luckily for us, this restaurant chose to devote a few pages to vegetarian dining. Yay! I'm a fan.
We decided on spring & summer rolls to start. These came out just after the awesome Jasmine tea and we divvied them up between us. Spring rolls were def. the best either of us has ever eaten. These 3 rolls were generously sized and had that little something extra that other spring rolls don't have. A lot of flavor. These didn't have to be dipped in the delicious accompanying sauce but hey what the heck, when in Thailand. Oh and 3 rolls for $3.95???
Summer rolls were vegan & raw, this family's favorite way to eat, and 2 large ones were also priced @ $3.95. Again, these could be enjoyed alone or dipped in the peanut sauce. We dipped!
Initially we declined soup only to be informed it was included in the lunch price. I chose the bean curd which included fresh cilantro, peanuts, veggies and green onion. Best bean curd soup eva!
Miss A. chose the Tom Kha, and it was good but wethinks it had a fish/oyster sauce in it so not something she'd order again. She also felt it lacked the citrus/lime overtones found in other Tom Kha soups.
Onto Siam's version of the infamous Pad See Ew. While Siam has the more authentic version of Thai food and it was good, it was missing the sweetness that makes women swoon for this dish. I liked it very much but when I return I'll try something else. I did enjoy SC's version with the many added, assorted fresh vegetables. No doubt this is probably the way it's made in Thailand. It wasn't overly salty or oily either so ma almost P90X bod says thank you! (And I just finished the leftovers while writing this so yeah it's real good.)
Miss A. chose the curried vegetables and rice noodles and although she liked it very much, she also admitted she would try something else on our second visit. How can we not? Siam Classic's menu is so diverse even vegetarians have to take their time choosing what to order. Thus we will be back!
Service was phenomenal and timely. Siam Classic is well managed and it shows.

Went here for a holiday get together and I was thoroughly impressed.  The spicy coconut soup I got for an appetizer was beautifully presented in Thai porcelain.  My pad Thai was also good.  The service was very quick and the price was certainly right.  If in the area, I would definitely come back.  Next time, though, I think I will order up on the spice level (I think i did 4 chilis and it wasn't spicy enough for my palliate) and I would probably also ask for a stronger Thai iced coffee.  But again, that's just a personal taste issue for me.

Since the place is pretty small and gets packed, I would definitely recommend a reservation for a large party.

We've been eating here for years - usually takeout, sometimes dining in.  Everything on the menu is good.  Besides the usual Thai stuff, try the tamarind shrimp, basil fried rice and mussaman curry.  Drunken noodles are quite good, too.

Siam Classic is a true Manassas gem. I actually ate there opening day about 7 years ago. The food was great back then, and has consistently remained fantastic since. I have an office around the corner, and find myself eating there at least 2 to 3 times a week.

If you like Thai, they are definitely worth the drive.

The only complaint I have would be parking. Its a small place and the lot can be tricky to navigate, however there is plenty of street parking within 1 or 2 blocks in historical Manassas. Always a beautiful walk.

Let me add my congratulations to this place. Absolutely delicious food. Some Thai places taste more like Chinese...Siam Classic dishes have all those unique flavors that make Thai Thai. Highly recommend.

Portions are a bit small, but you'll still probably have leftovers. And their prices are lower than seems to be the norm.

After reading other reviews we had to try this place.  We took it as a good sign that they were growing herbs outside in the cute curbside garden.  Inside was cozy, the food was great and the staff helpful and friendly. I took our waiter's advice on the "heat" level to add to my dish.  I am glad I did. It was just right.  The prices are reasonable, good menu selection and convenient parking too.   A gem of a place in Old Town Manassas!  Can't wait to go back.

I'm having trouble ordering anything at Siam Classic - other than the Kee Mao Gai, Som Tom, and Tom Yum - because those are my three have Thai dishes and they do them O' so well!

Seab, Sue, and I met here for dinner recently. It had been too long since I had crossed the threshold of Siam Classic, far to long!

But I ordered the Tom Yum and Som Tom, very spicy, not a 10, an 8 on the spice level this time - which is still plenty spicy!

As always, amazingly delicious! And so hot! Loved it! Can't wait to go back! Service was attentive and on the money!

I know the owner and staff pretty well.  I used to go to another Thai Restaurant down the street, but one day I was working from home and wanted Thai food and some change-- I tried Siam Classic.

The food was so good, that I returned again for dinner, then again that week 2 more times.

Since 2007, I have become close friends with the staff and owner.  I know them and they know me and my girlfriend by name and how my family is doing.  They are indeed a family restaurant.

If it was not for this single restaurant I would still be only eating Beef Basil at any Thai Restaurant around the world (OK, I went out of the country once, but I got Thai food there too).  Beef Basil is my comparison dish.

If you don't make your food with the ingredients listed on the menu, then I probably will not like it as much.  I like surprises, not in my meals.

Unchalee, Op, Kevin-- keep up the good work.

Classic Thai in Old Town Manassas.

Went here with a local for lunch, she said it was 'awesome'...she
    was right! Thanks RhondaPoo!

The Laab salad was excellent with minced chicken, flavored with celantro and lime. It was delicious. The Seafood salad was OK, moreq squid than shrimp but no fish.

They have quite a selection on the menu and the prices are very reasonable. Very nice Thai in Old Town.

Siam Classic is truly a unique gem in Old Town Manassas. The food is authentic and flavorful (I especially like the lemongrass soup), the waitstaff is attentive (the manager almost always comes to check if everything is going okay), the prices are reasonable, the portions are just the right size, and the decor is very "zen." If you're lucky, you can get the "VIP" parking spot on the street right by the front door. But, if not, there is always plenty of parking in the rear.

However, I've found that getting spicy food is hit-or-miss here. I've gone to some Thai places where requesting a spiciness level of 6/10 will have me tearing up and sweating. That is not the case here -- I asked for that level of spiciness and could not even notice any heat. Perhaps they think I'm not able to handle the spice; I don't know. Regardless, out of all the Thai restaurants in Manassas, this will always be my favorite.

Siam Classic is legit! My sister planned a birthday dinner for my mom (happy 50th!!) here, they had both been before but I was a first timer. This was my first thai experience and it was heavenly! I wasn't sure about the spice level,  but our server was very helpful and informative. I've been back several times since, the owner is friendly, and the servers are very knowledgeable. They offer to-go, and delivery in addition to dine in, but dining in is my favorite... i like the atmosphere. It is sometimes super chilly in the restaurant so if you are prone to being cold, bring a shrug or sweater.

The food is fresh, the service is fast, the price is perfect. I always feel comfortable in the restaurant, and never have I been less than satisfied when leaving.

After reading all the reviews I decided to try their Mai Thai.  Have to say it was very refreshing and not too sweet with a hint of sour.

Waitress made a mistake when I told her I wanted the Pad See Eew and I guess she wrote down #21.  When they brought out the Pad Curry I decided "what the hey" and tried it.  WoW! just found a new staple in my regular dishes at The Classic.  I love their curries and their noodle dishes; never had thought to order the dish that combines them both.

Got the Chicken Satay, which unfortunately they told me the peanut sauce isn't spicy because other Americans complained.  No biggie cause they have a nice assortment on their spice tray.  Chicken is moist and bursting with flavor.  Its a must try.

Again, keep up the good work Siam Classic.

from the outside its not really somewhere i would go in and try but since this place has such a high review i figured why not. walking in i was taken by surprised, it actually looks bigger inside. table set ups are adorable, cozy and very inviting. although the light could be a little dimmer, it will attract more customers for those who likes to take their significant other out for dinner.

the waitress has great knowledge of foods. she was very polite and sweet. the smile never left her face. my husband and i ordered caramari, shrimp cake, beef salad, drunken noodle, and tom yum chicken. Although they werent the best that i've had,  they were delicious!  they give us TONS of rice for 2 and that totally a plus because i am a fat ass :D

the bathroom is clean and smell very nice.  that's a plus. the waitress got a nice phat tips. i will definately be back to dine here again soon :)

I wanted to introduce Precious to Thai food so we visited this little gem.  It's a tiny little restaurant in Old Town Manassas.  It's owned and operated by a Thai woman and her husband.  Some young men, I think their sons or nephews, often work as waiters when they're not attending classes at a nearby college.

It's a nice atmosphere.  It's quiet.  It's peaceful.  The service is fantastic.  We most often see the young men.  One guy is the proud father of an adorable one year old.  A couple times they've had other Thai waiters and waitresses.  They're friendly.  They'll help explain menu items.  The owner is a middle-aged Thai woman, and you'll see her working in the back kitchen if you look through the door.  Sometimes if it's not too busy she comes out to greet guests.

The food consists of a variety of Thai food.  My favorite is #28.  We also like the steamed dumplings appetizers.  For spicy food fanatics, they have a spice bar, a little tray that you can request that has a variety of different spice.  Some of the spices are very, very hot so be careful if you don't know what you're doing.

There are different methods of rating restaurant food.  Some people use a scale of one-to-ten.  Others use stars.  For me I use a five point system:
1 - Bad - don't eat the food.  Send it back.
2 - Not so Bad - You eat it but don't come back.
3 - Good - You eat it and enjoy it and come back another day.
4 - Really Good - You order extra to take home.
5 - Super Good - You lick the floss after you clean your teeth.
At Siam Classic we always order extra to take home.

All in all it's a warm little place perfect for a casual outing.

This place is a gem. A small place where you can go on a date or go with friends to enjoy.

The whole fried flounder with the 3 flavor sauces was really good. Fresh fish, with still crisp vegetables, made this a very good plate.

My sweetheart had the Pad Thai, which was really good as well. The location is good also, if you plan on staying in Old Town Manassas for the evening, since it's within walking distance from the good places nearby like Okra's and others.

The service is outstanding. We will definitely go back here.

I work nearby and have ordered their pad thai for years, mostly takeout when I'm crunched on time at the office.  Spring rolls are fantastic and come 3 to a box, so order extra sauce if you like it.  I've recently become hooked on their House Special Fried Rice - a bit pricey but totally yummy..  They have a huge variety of foods and no matter what you order, it will be great.

Best Thai food in the world, hands down.

The dishes are spectacular, the ingredients are true quality, and the service! They're fast, friendly, and polite. I dont know what more you could ask for! The owner will sometimes come to the dining room to ask everyone how their experiences were. She is such a sweet woman. Im so thankful she is sharing her wonderful dishes with us!

Word to the wise: if you ask for your food very spicy, they will make it very spicy! As someone who generally takes his indian food with maximum spice, I go for a 7/10 here and that plenty for me! However, if youre one of those people who can never get enough spice, man oh man, is this the right place for you!

Consistently excellent food from appetizers to entrees.  Even the Thai Iced Coffee is very very good. I'm not going to get specific to many dishes since they have been uniformly good. The only one I was a little disappointed in, though it is still a decent version, was, oddly Pad Thai. The service is excellent, surroundings pleasant, and the staff generally very nice and professional. All in a highly recommended place. Be aware that you choose the hotness levels from 0-10 there and above 5 according to the staff gets VERY hot. Personally, I think 3 is even hot - my limit. But of course, that depends on your tolerances. Definitely make the trip.

I am a first-time customer.  It was quicky prepared- -only 5 minutes for pick up!  I was given a big paper bag that felt unusually light.  Very pleasant staff, I even give a small tip when I take out.  I got home and opened up the styrofoam and thought it was the lunch serving.  It didn't fill the box halfway AND I was given 2 forks?  For the price paid for drunken noodle, I am sad.  It was good.  Oily and I just don't know.  Maybe I was overexcited to finally figure out what I was hungry for on my cheat day and messed myself up.  I'll try it again somewhere else and see if I can get what I expected for the price. I don't like to feel cheated with a big triple-stapled grocery bag, high bill, and mini-stir fry.

Siam Classic is just one of those gems that has something for everyone in your group.

The menu is huge. While we perused the dinner menu but then were given the correct lunch menu, the conversation went something like: "Ooooh...did you see that? Where? Page 4. Wait but what about this....on page 8?" So it goes unsaid that it took awhile for us to decide because everything sounded awesome.

While we waited for the last member of our party to arrive, we split some appetizers: spring rolls, calamari, fried wontons and the sesame beef. The spring rolls were nice and crispy with a tasty sauce - the wontons were alright. The calamari were like giant onion rings and were not too greasy. The sesame beef was perfect and was accompanied by some delicious sticky rice.

I ordered the duck salad because by the time we ate all of the starters, I wasn't feeling the need for something heavy. Plus, with mini-golf right after lunch, I knew there would also be a frozen dairy run so I needed the room.

The duck salad was just what I needed. It was light and fresh, full of shredded roasted duck, lots of veggies and cilantro and a tasty vinaigrette. I'd definitely order this again.

While it's not likely I'll be back in Old Town Manassas any time soon, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Siam Classic to others who live closeby. It's a solid place for delicious Thai.

I have been to numerous Thai restaurants in the area. This place is by far the best I have experienced so far. Including the famous Thai Basil throwdown with Bobby Flay out of Chantilly. They are in Old Town Manassas, but not on the main strip. Their Pad Thai is absolutely delicious! My wife really enjoys the Pad Se-ew and Drunken Noodle. If you want a great local place for some Tahi food, this is the place to go.

There were four of us at the table.  Can you guess how many dishes were in front of us?  I won't say, but you can do the math.

    Appetizers ordered:
    Chicken Satay
    Sesame Beef
    Duck Salad
Golden Bag (get your mind out of the gutter; I had to do the same)

    Entrees ordered:
    Sesame Noodles w beef
    Red Curry with chicken
    House Seafood

It's easier to say what I didn't go crazy over:  red curry, duck salad and chicken satay.  That's not to say I didn't enjoy them, they just didn't blow my dress up.

The sesame beef and sesame noodles were *outstanding*.  Seriously.  I would order them over and over I enjoyed them so much.  I also thought the sauce for the house seafood dish was wonderful with rice and it was also heavy with seafood (I liked the scallops the most).

Service was a real knockout.  The woman (I presume owner) was extremely nice to us and bent over backwards to ensure our dining experience was a pleasurable one.

I'd certainly return if I were in the area.

I went out on a limb at Siam Classic... i didn't get my typical Pad See Ewe.  I just had so many options...even for lunch... i had to try something else!   And thats what i did.   I tried the basil chicken.... for some reason called Pad Kapow!   Now those of you who know me well that the word kapow! is not in my dictionary.   However it was not spicy and was just incredibly delicious.  Absolutely awesome.  Plenty of garlic, plenty of flavor, plenty of awesomeness.   I really liked it.

We also split a bunch of appetizers... spring rolls, calamari, won tons and seasame beef.  All were delicious.  I really liked the seasame beef and could have eaten the whole thing myself!

Service was fantastic and friendly... my diet coke never seemed to get empty.  All in all it was an absolute great meal

So why no five stars???  i gotta go back and try their pad see ewe before i make that jump!

The almost unanimous 5 star reviews for Siam Classic was enough to lure me all the way out to Manassas.  Well, that and talk of a nearby mini golf place and several stops for frozen dairy!  We came for lunch on a Saturday and it was kinda empty.  The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming and we got our tomes of food, i.e. menus.  HUGE books with pages and pages of food.  I didn't quite understand the organization as I saw appetizers on at least 3 different pages, but I was able to sift through it all.  We remarked at how cheap everything was but maybe it's because we're so used to DC prices.  But then they say "oh, we gave you the wrong menus.  Those are the dinner menus.  Lunch menus have cheaper prices".  Really??  Even cheaper than this??  No complaints here!

We went with 3 or 4 appetizers and all were great.  In particularly I liked the sesame beef.  The waitress had informed us that they were offering a special appetizer that day which is apparently in high demand and very common in thailand.  I love it when thai places have specials but we stuck with our appetizer order.

For main course, I went with my standard drunken noodles, extra spicy.  I had the feeling they would doubt my heat tolerance so when they asked how spicy I looked him in the eye with a stern glance and said "As hot as you can go.  Seriously.  I want tears and snot."  Well when the food came out, they definitely obliged!  Siam Classic will forever hold a place in my heart as the first thai place that has given me a satisfactory amount of base heat without needing the spice rack.  That is quite a feat!

So overall, 4 shared appetizers, and an excellent meal cost me around $12.  A great value.  I'd like to return to try some of their specials.  If you live in the Manassas area, Siam Classic is an absolute must.  In my neck of the woods though, there is such a selection of excellent thai food that it's not quite enough to lure me out consistently, but if I'm in the area I'm definitely coming back!

A really great Thai place in Old Town Manassas.  I would say it's the best based on how much people rave about this, but I haven't been to other so I'll say it's just great.

This small hut-like house where the restaurant is at is well-decorated with ornate dark wooden carving trimming the bar.  The service was extremely friendly and very accommodating for the large lunch party i was with.  And the food was excellent.  My chicken something Kapow was very tasty and aromatic with fried basil (I'm a sucker for anything with basil).  Each entree comes with a small soup.  I wimped out and got the wonton soup (which wasn't too bad, but there's not much into wonton soup), but I wish I didn't get scared off from the spiciness of the lemongrass soup.  Portions are large and the price was very reasonable ($7.95 for a large serving with rice and the soup).  While small the fried bananas wrapped in wonton skin served with coconut ice cream really hit the spot.

If I were in this part of town again I'll definitely stop by this place and try their other dishes.

Great Thai place in Old Town Manassas.  Highly recommended, definitely reminds me of the same quality dishes from Thailand.

Big fan of the Pad Thai, Singapore noodles (I think it's called that), and Satay.

I have relatives out in Haymarket who complained that there were no really good restaurants in this area.  To which I replied that there really were and with the help of Yelp, I picked this restaurant.  Saturday night was cold and rainy and all around miserable.  But once we stepped into this cozy establishment, we were treated to a warm welcome and immediate seating.

We ordered the golden bag, chicken sate, and chives dumplings for appetizers.  The golden bags were deep fried pork in a wonton wrapped like a pouch.  They were nice and crispy without being greasy.  The chicken sate came with a wonderfully balanced coconut and curry sauce.  The chive dumplings had great herb flavors.  Our next course was some duck salads.  The salads are served in a fish sauce vinaigrette that reminds me of vietnamese nuoc mam.  It was really well balanced and the duck was nicely gamey with some really flavorful fat and skin parts.  Our entrees were the drunken noodles with seafood, crispy beef and classic duck.  All of which were excellent.  I ordered my classic duck with some heat and they obliged with a good bit of peppers and spice.  We finished off the meal with some bubble tea.

If this place was near me, it would be on my regular lunch rotation.  That duck salad would likely be a staple entree for me.  The service was attentive and expedient and my friends were happy to know that they were not as deprived of good eating establishments as they had previously thought.

Went here on a Wednesday night while vacationing in the area. The food is an amazingly good value and is really tasty.

Just make sure you don't overdo it on the spices (they give you a choice 1-10 on the level of spice), which can be pretty killer. I can't remember the names of the dishes we got since they are pretty complicated, but I do remember everything was really good (with the exception of the onions in the drunken noodles, but only because I hate the strong taste of onions). The desserts were especially good here, in particular the pastry dish and the friend bananas with coconut ice cream.

Will be sure to come back next time we are in the area.

This is one of our favorite restaurants in Manassas.  My husband and I have varying tastes when it comes to Thai, and Siam Classic really delivers.  Plus - they make the best Mai Tai I have ever had when not on a tropical island - and you can take that to the bank, baby!

I try to order something outside my comfort zone each time I come here, and I am never disappointed.  Seafood is NOT something I am a fan of, so I avoid those dishes, but I have tried a variety of other things on the menu and always been delighted.  My husband, who is MUCH more conservative, gastronomically speaking, also manages to be adventurous and venture out into unknown areas while at Siam Classic, and he also manages to always choose something delicious.  I think they just don't make a bad dish, to be honest.

The folks who run the place are very nice, always very helpful when you don't quote know what you might be eating - we aren't really Thai experts, and there's nothing worse than guessing at your meal.  And, like I said, having those Mai Tais - it's like a little slice of Hawaiian heaven right here at home.

And then, of course - the sticky rice and mango at the end - sheer perfection!  Well, my husband gets coconut ice cream, but what does he know?  Sticky rice with mango is food of the gods, and Siam Classic does it very well.

I recommend this place, absolutely - have a Mai Tai for me!

My girlfriend and I were visiting the Manassas area and had no idea where to find a vegan-friendly restaurant (besides the usual Chipotle) so I did a quick search on my phone and found this place.

It is kinda hidden in old town, and doesn't look like anything special from the outside, but the food was really good and the service was great too!

They have a separate section on the menu for vegetarian appetizers. We ended up getting three appetizers because we couldn't choose! The vegetable dumplings, fried tofu, and spring rolls were all delicious. The fried tofu was still moist on the inside, whereas most other restaurants overcook it and it's hard and dry.

There's also a separate section on the menu for vegetarian entrees(there are only 3 listed), but you can order most of their entrees with vegetables and tofu instead of meat. We ordered the drunken noodles with tofu and vegetables. They asked us how spicy we wanted it on a scale of 1-10 and we said 5 to be safe since we had never eaten there. We figured we could always add more spice if it wasn't hot enough... but that wasn't necessary. It was awesomely spicy!

For dessert we split the mango with sticky rice, which was also delicious. If we lived in the area, we would totally be regulars at this place!

This was my re-introduction to Thai food (I'm not a huge fan; had a bad experience a while back). The Beau LOVES Thai food, so this was also my time to try to get into something he's in to.

We went around 6p on a Wednesday. There were two other tables of people in there, and eventually two more came in. The atmosphere is calm and intimate, tables are not spaced very far apart (it's a small place, not much space). Unfortunately, the lack of space makes for an not-so-intimate setting, as you can overhear pretty much any conversation in the restaurant.

Per the Beau's suggestion (from experience at other Thai restaurants-- this was his first time here too), we ordered the steamed dumplings and the fried wontons. Both appetizers were really good-- I really liked the Thai twist on the steamed dumpling. The fried wontons were tasty, not stuffed with more than a pea sized amount of meat, though. (Check out the pictures of all 4 of the dishes).

For dinner, I ordered the Pad Normai (which is stir fried asparagus in garlic sauce), with medium spice and chicken. I was pleasantly surprised to be kinda kicked by the medium spice (and I LOVE spicy food). I ordered it without basil or cilantro (not sure if it came with it but I avoid both spices like the plague); there was a lot of meat in the dish, thankfully, but no baby corn, though the menu said it came with baby corn. I found it kind of bland (despite being kinda spicy for medium) but then again I AM giving up added salt for Lent, so, that could have had an effect.

The Beau ordered Crispy Duck. I tried it and I must say it was chewy and tasted like sausage, but I'm not a big fan of duck (it doesn't morally sit well with me) so I really had nothing to compare it to. The Beau agreed that it was chewy; he also said there wasn't a whole lot of meat in the dish (it did seem to have more onions than meat). He also said it wasn't very spicy for the "American" level he ordered it at and it was too sweet. This guy is a Thai food connoisseur, so he knows what he's talking about.

We most likely won't be back here. I most likely won't eat Thai food again (honestly, all it is is spicy Chinese food... I don't get it).
