Top Three Reasons Why You Should Eat At Shula's

1. Their menu is on a football which the waiters literally pass to you.

2. They have a 48 oz. steak, which, if you finish, gets your name on their wall and website...

3. ...and you can order it for breakfast, thereby making it the most kickass Steak and Egg Breakfast I've ever had in my life.

Thank you.

Owned by the legendary Miami Dolphins football coach Don Shula, this steakhouse offers up its menu on a football. An Interesting but also kinda lame idea. The Filet Mignon was good sized but a little too salty for my taste. I did not care for the Hash Browns, which were also too salty, but the Creamed Spinach was good. Finally, the Chocolate Souffle, which you had to order with the initial food order because it takes 30 minutes to make was very disappointing. The waitstaff was attentive but also eagerly ushered us out of the restaurant since it was late on a Tuesday night. Overall, the steak is good. But I've had better.

Sat down and the hostess placed a football placed on my plate. Hmmm. Later realized the menu was on the ball. The waiter, difficult to understand, proceeds to show us the steaks, including a 48oz'er and a baked potato the size of a motorcycle muffler. I had the 22oz 'cowboy steak', a ribeye with the bone in. I could of held on to the bone and gnawed on the meat. Friend had the New York Strip, also tasty. Creamed spinach, a speciatly, was so-so.
