Whether you're young or old, drinking or not, celebrating an occasion or just out for a fun night on the town.  If you are looking for live music, hilariously upbeat entertainment to last throughout the night, then you must give the Shout House a chance!  This is not your typical dueling piano bar; the crowd interaction is so immense!  You may think you know every song by heart that is being played, do not be mistaken. Many words will be substituted for ones that are more provocative!  I've been to the venue for bachelorette parties, birthday parties and many other occasions.  This place never has a dull moment.  Located on Block E, Downtown Minneapolis, Shout House is a must.

I have been coming to this bar for about 2 and a half year I have gotten to know the staff  and piano players and everyone is really nice. The bar is a blast because everyone joins in on the fun weather it is a waitress who can sing her tail off. Or a bouncer and bartender having a dance of on stage. Belting out your favorite songs. On the weekends the age tends to be a little older but it is still a lot of fun. Wed is the night to go there has just so much upbeat music to pic from.

A few recommendations the piano players play requests from the audience so don't pick lame slow songs because it can and will really drag down the energy of the bar .

A great place to take a friend for their birthday you can request to put them up on stage and they will sing to the birthday person a very personal and embarrassing song.

The songs that they play on non Wed are far ranging from rockin' Robin to Gold Digger to Queen they seem to know them all.

I don't think it is a good place for a first date it can get loud and hard to talk.

We went to the Shout House last night as a get together for a friend's birthday, and I must say I was pleasantly surprised. I don't really know WHAT I was thinking it was going to be like, but I went in, admittedly, being a little skeptical.

Usually I take issue with a bar when you cannot hear the people you're with talking, but fortunately, I could hear most of the conversation last night (as the night when on, and the crowd became larger, it was a little more difficult to hear over all of the din and the singing, but it wasn't that bad).

I didn't like the fact that there is a cover charge, especially on a Wednesday night (I believe I was told it was $4).... but we got there a little before 9pm so we didn't have to pay it (intentionally). Last night they had $1 Red Bull and Vodka's (which I found disgusting, but I'm not a big Red Bull fan), and $2 Captain and Cokes (you had to be specific when ordering, because if you just said "Rum and Coke" apparently that didn't qualify).

It was a pretty cool atmosphere, with humorous dancing (amongst our group and otherwise) and singing along, clapping, and just overall a decent time.

I'd say this is a pretty nice group place to go. Our friend told us it was a "date place", which I'm having a little trouble imagining, but also think it could be fun.

We didn't really have any food here, so I can't comment. I did look at the menu online, and it seems decent.

Oh. my. God!

I had, like, the most totally radical night ever, for sure, for sure!  I mean it was like, so totally gnarly!

It was my friend Miranda's birthday, and like, we totally wanted to do something fun, right? Right! So we totally dressed up in our most bitchin 80's 'fits and went down to Shout, a dueling piano bar indowntown, for their 80's night.

There is no cover if you wear a bodacious 80's outfit, so we totally got in for free!  When we got to Shout it was totally a drag at first, but then the music was so total tubular and the drinks were so totally cheap (a dollar for bush lite taps or vodka and redbulls, and two dollars for captain and cokes or pop rocks and capri sun shots) that soon people were like, crazy!

The girls and I were dancing in the streets!

And on the stage!

And on the piano!

But really I was like, so totally behaved (as far as behaving goes) and only drank dollar beers. And I only bought three (free ones don't cont) And pretty soon its was like this huge ... wedding reception or something. I mean people just laughing and drinking and dancing and singing really loud with strangers.

The bad thing that happens everytime you go to shout is some boys try to get a little to friendly, but you just have to go "Dude! Gag me with a credit card and stick me back in layaway! That Ninja turtle needs to go back in his half shell for sure for sure!"

Overall, the night was a BLAST and I was so stoked by all the songs they were playing...I was like, so to-totally totally wicked man!

They played everything from Vanilla Ice (Ice Ice Baby)and New Kids on the Block (Hanging Tough)  to Journey (Lovin Touchin Squeezin) and Queen (Fat bottom girls. one of the best songs EVER) and AC/DC (You shook me all night long).

They even played  Billy Joel (who is one of my all time favorites) (Uptown girl) and Micheal Jackson (Beat it)and John Melencamp (Jack and Diane)and Soft Cell. (Tainted Love) and Pat Benatar (Hit me with your best shot)

Then they won me over for sure by playing Sweet Child of Mine (my favorite song EVER) and Paradise City by my BOYFRIEND Axel Rose (he is such a choice piece of meat)

By the end of the night we were out.of.control. I have never ever ever had that much fun in a bar ever. It was like... the best night EVER! FOR SURE! We may have gotten a little crazy like but girls, they wanna have fun (they just wanna)

Bottom line: Shout bar rocks the casbah

The Shout House is a Rock 'n Roll Sing-A-Long Dueling Piano Bar.  It's a celebration of life at the top of one's lungs!

Two piano player/singers, performing at face to face Grand Pianos, in front of large mirrors.  They play the classic hits from the 50's to the present - WHAT THEY PLAY IS YOUR DECISION!  It is request driven by the audience - just try and stump them!  With the use of multiple teams, the night is a NON-STOP PARTY with no breaks or intermission from opening to close.

Playing the great music hits of all time, combined with great showmanship, energy, comedy, and you!  The Shout House is the venue you've been looking for.  Your group or client will appreciate your unique choice.  It has complete food & beverage catering available and can accommodate groups up to 600.

Located in Block E, between the Target Center and City Center, downtown Minneapolis.  In the heart of the historic Theater District.
