This place carries shoes that are intended to be good for your feet, so that being said its certainly a bit difficult to find something that isn't Fugly. Unfortunately i have size 10-10.5 feet, and they are a bit wide. 10.5 doesn't exist in most women's shoes so that's why i came to this store in the 1st place.
I ended up purchasing a pair of Keen's and Montrail sandals. LOVE them. They are fairly cute shoes but more that anything I needed something that could get me through a full day of standing and walking. I've never been able to do that, but i took both shoes to Las Vegas and I was totally impressed. I lasted all day no foot pain!!! It was amazing!
What makes this place different is that you get personal sales assistance. they size your foot, they make recommendations. I even stood on something that mapped the way my feet distribute my weight and the type of arch i have. It was pretty cool.
Overall I'm planning to go back to try to find a summer appropriate flat shoe for work, and i know finding something that doesn't make my feet look like boats is the challenge, but the comfort factor is what they take care of for you at this store. -

Great store. Stopped in for the first time and received immediate assistance. Unfortunately they did not have the shoe I wanted in my size and would not be able to get it for 3 weeks. I applaud their effort and will stop in again next time I am in need of running shoes.

Great selection of shoes and people that know how to fit your foot properly ! Especially if you have a hard to fit foot because of foot issues.
They have all the weird sizes! -

After checking out their web site, I drove 45 miles to go to this store. The response to my email request about a catalog (print or online) was not helpful but since they specialize is fitting people with foot problems I thought in person would be better. Boy was I disappointed! They were having a sale but there was only one other customer in the store. A male employee began helping me to find shoes that would accommodate a brace for my left foot; I specifically requested a black or dark shoe since the brace is black and most of my pants are dark in color. I needed to size up 1 1/2 - 2 sizes in order to accommodate the brace so I requested a lace up style in order to accommodate the other foot (normally I wear a narrow shoe). He brought out 2 pairs of shoes - one was a white athletic shoe! I asked if those were the only styles I had to choose from and he said no and went to get other styles - he NEVER came back! No explanation. The female employee took up - I attempted to tell her that the curved seam across the toes seemed to be the reason the shoe was hurting with the brace on - she totally ignored my comments. I requested a shoe that was on display - no curved seam - I could tell it would work but it really needed to be 1/2 size larger - she told me it was discontinued. Although they were in the middle of a sale (and this discontinued shoe was not on sale) she said she could not order it. The service and demeaning verbal comments were terrible. I went to Hy-Step Shoes a short distance away - they did not have the correct size either but offered to order it - it was NOT discontinued.

A friend of mine suggested that I get a pair of MBT shoes. She said that they would help to strengthen my legs and help to stop the pain in my lower back. I have always walked kind of funny and bent forward at the waist. I purchased a pair of these shoes and have now worn them for over a year. My legs have strengthened to the point where I can now walk 10 miles a day with no cane and my back pain has gone away. I now walk straight with my head up. Amazing what you can see with your head in an upright position. The person who waited on me that day fitted the shoes to me. He was not satisfied until the shoes fit me right. I now own 2 pair of them and I wear them every day. They are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. I am on my feet all day long at work and if these shoes ever wear out, I will buy more. So far they show no wear and tear. They are pricey but well worth the money.
