From the get go, I was getting good vibes from Shobha on Broadway.  The appointment was for a last minute Brazilian wax because I just can't plan for pain.

The appointment was made without a hitch and they happened to have an opening within 15 minutes.  I happened to be 10 minutes away so it might have been fate.  That, or a real yearning to have the delicate hairs of the nether regions ripped out by a robotic esthesician.

I admit, it took me a while to find the door since there was scaffolding surrounding the building.  Once I walked in, there was no question as the security guard took one glance at me and said with a smile, "Shobha?"  In response, I said "How did you know?"

Again, fate.

My ripper outter person was business as usual and proceeded to point me to a room that was colorful and thank goodness, a real room.  I've been to places that don't have walls that reach all the way to the ceiling or floor and you can hear the ripping and the inevitable "Arggggg".

Here, I was groaning in silence, except for the ripper.  She was robotic and knew what she was doing because I'm not sure what I did on that table other than make grotesque faces at her.  I wasn't a big fan of her for that amount of time, but I am now.  She however, had no emotion and I was looking for some sympathy.  C'mon, just a look would have been sufficient given the action going down there.

The place is clean and cute.  I love the no- double dipping policy and the latex free gloves.

Go for the policy.  Go for the all knowing security guard.  Don't go if you want someone to commiserate with your pain.  They are all business here.  A bit pricey compared to my other waxing spot but the fact that they don't double dip is almost worth it.

I visited the Columbus Circle store, and it was just as hard to find as I'd read about in all the previous Yelp reviews. Luckily I'd done some extensive Google Map research, so I managed to get to my appointment on time. The salon seemed to be relatively empty, with only a few women getting their eyebrows threaded. $20 for eyebrow threading seemed a little over the top, especially when there's a salon next to my school in Harlem that does it for $5.

Anyway, I came for the full leg and Brazilian combo -- go big or go home, as they say. My waxer's name was Kavita, and she was friendly enough, although I couldn't help but feel that the conversation was more of a "customer service requirement" rather than a genuine "I'd like to get to know you" one. But whatever, it's not like I was there for the conversation. The Brazilian actually didn't hurt as much as ones that I've had before -- probably because she put SO much powder on before she started waxing, so the wax didn't pull the skin as much. Great! Halfway there, right? Unfortunately, the leg wax took about forever and a day. Boo. Then came time to pay... large BOO. This was definitely a splurge, and it wasn't even that great of a splurge (I prefer handbags, denim, and/or Tiffany jewelry). Guess I'll have to do more research to find a more student budget friendly place...

Now I'm not a prude or nothin, but I never really considered writing a review for so, ahem, delicate a service. However, I regard what I am about to say as more of a public service than anything else.

I'm a regular of the SoHo location and have nothing but positive things to say about this company in general. Calming (if slightly overwrought) atmosphere, courteous service, complimentary tea, and a reassuringly rigorous protocol when it comes to bikini waxing. I trust my bits to no one else. There is one person, however, to whom I will never, ever expose my privates again, and that is Amina/Imina/Ameena/The Devil, who works at the Columbus Circle location.

For starters: a brusque, loud voice that prevailed throughout the ordeal, much to the terror, I'm sure, of clients just outside the sliding door. Up next, a complete disregard for the many comforting little touches that Shobha aestheticians typically provide. No paper towel under the shirt, no gentle puff of baby powder, no threading, no inquiry as to whether the wax is too hot. In fact, the wax was too cold, resulting in what I will only describe as very unpleasant tugging and a sense of impending doom.

Now, on to the waxing itself. I've been doing this bi-monthly for five years. I am no stranger to this particularly cruel variety of pain. But this woman had every muscle in my midsection clenched so hard I can still feel it two hours later. She gruffly instructed me to relax, because, she informed me, "I know it has pain but I try to do fast." Whatever, lady. I ended up with a Brazilian, which I didn't realize until I got home because of the tearing in my eyes whenever she shoved the mirror between my legs.

I would like to conclude by saying that I'd rather wax myself blindfolded with nothing but a roll of duct tape than go back to Amina. Go to SoHo, where the professionals are.

I think the people here are very nice and the decor is adorable. I have been to Kavita and one of the girls from Nepal (she just had a baby). Both are very different in their techniques. Kavita has been there for a longer and so she knows what arch shape best suits your face. She also gives a great brazilian wax. When I went to the girl from Nepal I feel bad referring to her like that but I honestly don't remember her name) I basically told her what arch Kavita suggested for my face. I have also had a brazilian from her as well. She was gentler than Kavita even with the threading. She takes a little more time than Kavita and both were thorough. I wouldn't say Shobha's the GREATEST for brazilians but they get the job done and it's efficient. I wanted to tell you the difference between the two women because that's the good thing about Shoba, they are all very different from each other and differ in their perception of threading. With that said I hate how my eyebrows aren't always consistently the same. They are pricey but you know they are clean and you won't break out afterwards. They are always busy and it's a great atmosphere. The two women I have gone to are wonderful, I know there are some there who aren't that good but in general it's pretty good.

To be fair, I used to think the services provided at Shobha were excellent. A friend recommended Shobha for eyebrow threading to me when I moved to New York last year, and I loved it.
But now, I can twirl my growing mustache and stew, since I won't return. The same friend recently told me about Shobha's new "policy," if it can even be called that. I understand the 24-hour cancellation policy, but was not informed that one would have to pay in full for a rescheduling if it was over a certain amount. The woman taking the order was very condescending and tried to bully my friend into coming in for at least a $10 appointment. This makes no sense, considering that whomever was scheduled to do the rest of the work would be out of an appointment. Apparently, Shobha now needs 24-hour notice to cancel an appointment--even if you schedule last-minute when it's impossible to give such notice.
The condescending person at the Soho location said that Shobha had her credit card info and would charge her anyway for a reschedule. She asked to speak to a manager to figure out what to do. Someone called her 15 minutes AFTER her appointment would have started to tell her a replacement had been found and she wouldn't be charged. The bottom line: Shobha wants your money, not your business. The women answering the phone were very evasive about giving her the managers' names. I was going to go there tomorrow, but I refuse to return. I was thinking about being a bearded lady this Halloween anyway. Shobha lost not one, but two, customers.

I've been going to Shobha every other week for the past.. wow 3 years now.

I come here for the brazillians and eyebrow threading.  I really love the girls here.  I don't think I've ever had a bad experience or poor worker.  Most of the secretaries know my name and all of them are very polite.  My favorite waxist was Miranda, but she left *tear* so now my usual is Rachana.  But you really don't need a "usual" here.  They're all excellent at their job.

When I first came here, I was petrified about the idea of getting a brazillian but it's not bad at all!  My friend says I'm just desensitized for getting one each month for so many years, but I've never thought it was that bad.  If anything, sometimes I find eyebrow threading more uncomfortable (only because it's so close to your tear ducks that you tear up easily.. I have very watery eyes) than getting a brazillian, but that's just me.

I definitely recommend this place, though.  It is a bit pricey, although I've seen much more expensive brazillians in the city that don't offer a post threading session once they're done with the wax (so they get all those tiny hairs the wax may have missed).  Plus if you get a 6-pack, it really lessens the price tag.  But if you're nervous about getting waxed for the first time, I think this is the place to go.  It honestly is NOT that painful (I took my friend, who was petrified, but she left perfectly fine and wants to go back for another one!).

Yeah, this place is incredibly hard to find. It's on 57th between Broadway and 8th Ave., in the Newsweek building. You have to walk past a gauntlet of smoking men in suits on the way in. The security guard greeted me with, "You have that look, like you want to go to Shobha" - does he know what Shobha is? Was he calling me hairy, or just observing that I was female? Whatever. Anyway, the interior of the building is in the process of being remodeled, which is pretty awkward; fortunately, the actual Shobha office is very clean and pretty.

I got my eyebrows threaded for the first time, and although I teared up like a big baby, I was really happy with the results. My threader showed me where to put my hands to hold the skin taut for her, and didn't talk much but was quick and efficient. It's amazing how much a well-shaped eyebrow does for your face.

I was sufficiently impressed with my Shobha experience that I might even consider returning here for the dreaded Brazilian.

Upon walking into the room where I was to be waxed my first thought was definitely, "Oh my god, if I make any kind of sound, everyone in this salon is going to hear me.." The salon is tiny and the rooms where the Brazilian magic happens is only feet away from where people are getting their eyebrows done. Gulp. Luckily, I didn't make too much noise...

I have to say, for anyone that could put up with how anxious I was and deal with my nervous blabbering during my first bikini wax definitely deserves a medal. Sima was the lucky beautician that got to deal with me and she helped me through what might've easily been a traumatic experience incredibly professionally!

I'd expected the whole waxing thing to be as painful as what I'd expect childbirth to feel like but it wasn't nearly as terrible as I'd imagined. While a few times I flinched Sima was fast enough so that the pain or the anticipation of the pain wasn't too terrible.

I had to give Shobha five stars, despite how much difficulty I have in remembering how to spell it, because of how (relatively) painless and unawkward this whole experience was. I appreciate how Sima was pleasant and friendly enough to make me feel comfortable even as she had me lying spread-eagle on the table in front of her. I will definitely be returning!

I dont know what it is with these waxers/specialists. Maybe it's only me because I'm Indian, but they do not have the best bedside manners. I've tried the one in SoHo and now this one. The specialist here, Promilla, I think, was much better, but I still feel like she was getting frustrated with me for being a little scared. It is their job to help us relax. getting mad at me, only tenses me up more. Sweet Lord! I'm trying another place now. She was still nice overall and she did thread the little hairs after the wax which the lady at the SoHo location did not

Shobha causes you to say something you never thought you'd hear: "What a pleasant hair-removing experience!"

I've gone to both locations (Soho, and more recently, Broadway) - eyebrows shaped better than anywhere else, threading or wax, and the women always have exceptionally soft, nice-smelling hands while they pluck out your hairs in tiny painful rips. While the entry to this location is dubious (through the Newsweek office in blue-taped elevators), the interior is beautiful and relaxing. Twenty dollars for eyebrows is pricier than I usually like to spend, but it's a splurge that's totally worth it.

I had my first Brazilian here and I was very pleased with the experience. Since it was my first, I was not taking any chances with a cheap place. After finding good reviews about the other locations I decided to make an appointment. My waxer was sooo professional, kind, soothing, and super good. I was surprised at how much less painful this was than what I had expected. Maybe I have superior pain tolerance or maybe I was expecting this to hurt like giving birth, but still. I felt very comfortable. They have a beautiful, bright and clean office with comfy couches etc. The waxing stations were in little cubicle rooms with doors, no curtains here! I made my appointment for my next brazilian with the same waxer since she was so good. As I become more comfortable though, I am sure that I will be looking for a cheaper spot. $55 in this economy is def a little steep. But for now, it's my own girly splurge and my boyfriends happy about it too.

P.S. construction is a bitch and the building is really being gutted. But, you forget about that when you get inside their suite. It's very nice.

Points off for the fact that it's virtually impossible to find this place amid the construction.  The Newsweek building lobby is in shambles, which is not Shobha's fault but still affects the experience.  Final demerit comes from the fact that they do not have their own private washroom and customers are forced to use the communal facilities in the hall which are horrendous.
On the plus side, very friendly service and a quick and painless wax.  I also looooved the rose water cloths they provide you w/ post op.  Think I'll try SoHo next time.

This location is really horrendous. I've been going to the SoHo location for three years, but after my beloved waxer Bimala left, I started coming to this location because it is really close to my office.

My first visit was so bad, I complained. The good thing, like Jen B mentioned is that they are very responsive and offered me a free wax. Of course I go back and that one sucked ass too. I even went to the person the manager recommended. I'm so turned off, that I may stop patronizing Shobha altogether.

I rather be Amazonian jungle woman than pay $60 for a sucky wax.

BOTTOM LINE: Visit the SoHo location

And if anyone knows where my Bimala went, please let me know!!! :(

I have experienced the good, the bad and the ugly of bikini waxing.  (If we're ever sitting around, bs-ing over drinks ask about the ugly, it involves popsicle sticks and baby oil.)

Shobha is a pretty waxing/threading/sugaring salon with three locations.  I have gone to this one and also Shobha Madison and have had good experiences at both but I prefer this location because you're in actual rooms as opposed to Madison where you're in a cubicle sort of thing with temporary walls.

The technician I used switched me to sugaring which is so much less painful and left way less irritation, which is key.  They thread the strays at the end which I appreciate.  Also, they sell this exfoliating cloth that I'm crazy about, so even if for some reason I decided to go somewhere else for waxing, I'd still go back whenever I needed to replace the cloth.

So why four stars even though I'm raving about Shobha?
1. Threading F'ING hurts.  It's like someone sticking little needles into your skin.  Ouch.  Ouch.  Some warning please.
2. Did you really want to know what your *ahem* looks like 5 times it's normal size?  (Ladies.  Guys, I know you do.)  At the end of each waxing session they hold up a magnifying mirror to your newly waxed *ahem* and though I am definitely not a prude or body conscious at all, I'm just never really prepared for this.  And no warning the first time!?  Slightly traumatizing.  SOME WARNING PLEASE.

Okay, so getting a brazillian doesn't exactly rank up there on the blissful experience scale, but if you're gonna do it, might as well do it well. After going to a local salon for the past few years, I tried Shobha Soho for the first time this weekend, and couldn't have been happier. Pretty easy to get to off the 6, clean, pretty interior. My technician, Sahoj, was all business, no wasted time, and no comments on (eh-hem) less than well-kempt prior grooming. Not painless (for God's sake people, it's a BRAZILLIAN), but quick and efficient with as few strips as possible. Highly recommend, I'll be back.

Shobha is freaking amazing. Yes, they are on the pricey side, but their space is pretty and that no-double dip thing? AWESOME. Like Erin, I have seen so many different people here and they have all been awesome (but I must say, my favorite was Pawan, she was really sweet and lightening fast). And they never make me feel bad about being one of the hairiest women on the planet (ughh, why genetics? WHY??). I have also gotten my eyebrows threaded here several times, which always leads to a lot of compliments.

I have experienced many waxings before (some even on my kitchen table...true story). My experience at Shobha was one of the best. I hadn't been waxed in awhile because my trusted esthetician changed careers, but I was going on vacation so a Brazilian was a must. After reading reviews here and the fact that they had been voted best bikini wax of 2006 by NY Mag I was sold.

I didn't get any hair bumps (which is usually a big problem for me). The no double dipping is great (which you take for granted). I found the idea of threading the loose hairs exciting, but after having experienced it found the threading a little painful and I'm indifferent to it as opposed to tweezing. The reason I'm knocking a star off is the price. Would I go back: yes, but only when I can splurge.

It's not the cheapest place to get a wax but it is the most thurough place I have been to. I went to the upper east side location and the place was nice inside a buisness building, well decorated and clean. I got there about ten minutes early and the appointment took about 10mins, and I was left as smooth as a babies bottom. The person doing the waxing did stay in the room so if your shy this place might not be for you and also there is no warning at the end of the job that you will get an upclose look at your "ness" at the end. It was a little bit of a shock but now that I know it wont be that much of a surprise. I know there are cheaper just as good waxing salons in the city but this one is deffinately worth the price.

pros: quick, clean, they do the job right
cons: a little pricey, you have to undress in front of the person doing the wax

Today is my first day in New York.

Do I unpack my stuff? Go grocery shopping? Nope! I go get a Brazilian! Isn't that what everyone does??

Shobha was a very relaxing environment. I had an appointment with Jamuna and she was great! She made me feel very comfortable (well...as comfortable as you can be when you are getting the hair in your nether regions ripped off) and was super friendly.

I just moved from California ... the motherland of bikini waxes...so the prices were a bit high compared to out west. But..they do a great job here and make sure every single hair is taken care of.

First day in NYC and I already found my waxing place...SCORE!!!

Wow.  This was not my first bikini wax, however it was definitely my first brazilian and a completely different type of experience.  This place is professional and clean.  The woman who waxed me was super nice and super thorough.  My only complaint is that I actually scheduled a full bikini wax and ended up with a Brazilian.  Now I'm happy that I got what I got because I would have been way too chicken to schedule the Brazilian, but they kind of upsold me and I don't know if it was on purpose or on accident.  I was so discombobulated by the Brazilian that I forgot that I was supposed to get a lip wax and I ended up not getting one.  Basically, they do a great job but maybe be a little careful about telling them what you want when you are on the table!
At least I ended up with LESS hair than I expected instead of too much hair left behind :)

Amaaazing! I never thought I would be one of those "I love to wax" people, but I am converted. The waxers are polite and clean and take their time to make sure every single hair is gone. (N.B. Stray hairs left after waxing are  threaded.) The prices are probably a little bit higher than other places, but I absolutely love going to my waxer here. She's friendly and makes sure that I am comfortable at all times.

Edit: I second the "not-great" threading experience. While I've only gotten my upper lip threaded here, I think it's totally painful and not worth it (money-wise). While they do take off all noticeable hair, they don't wear any gloves which is bad if you are a super germo-phobe like myself.

Finally, Yes! I used to go to a girl who was fantastic in doing my eyebrows. She knew exactly what to do and was consistent. Granted my eyebrows are pretty easy to shape as they have a natural arch but she was the only one who could do them well. Others I've been to did a so-so job but since I moved to NY I haven't been able to find anyone who could do what she did...until now. Yesterday I went to Shobha (Madison location)  and Shanu did my brows. Wow, wow, wow, I was so excited when I saw the finished product. It was $20 well spent. Normally I'd have to use eyebrow pencil to fill in my brows in order to replicate my natural arch. I even took an eyebrow pencil with me to do just that after the shaping but when I saw what Shanu did I realized I didn't even need the pencil. My eyebrows were thick and shapely where they were supposed to be. I highly recommend Shobha and especially Shanu. This place rocks! I won't go anywhere else.

On a sidenote, I wished I'd gone to Shobha a few months back instead of Anastasia Brow salon on 5th avenue. As I'd mentioned my brows are pretty easy to shape but Anastasia Brow salon is a one size fits all type of place. The salon uses stencils to determine the brow shape. Let me just say that perhaps for a small population of people that method works but for most people forget about it. Anyway, I digress...when she was done doing my eyebrows I couldn't recognize them as mine. They were very boxy looking and looked different to how I'd ever had them done and not in a good way. I paid my $35 or whatever it was and got the hell outta there. I'd chosen Anastasia salon over Shobha because I thought Anastasia salon was supposed to be this reputable, blah blah blah and was well known in and out of NY. Um, no, please save yourself the trouble, the $$$ and the frustration and go to Shobha...trust me you won't regret it.

OMG - LOVE this place and didn't even know it existed until my friend Candace brought me here and wow, I'm never going anywhere else.

I had my brows threaded, which didn't hurt as much as previously but still hurt more than down below.  I have to say that the pain was worth it bc my brows have never looked better!

As for down below, they have a special sugar wax that pretty much feels like kittens - seriously, I fell asleep while she was down there, it was that painless.

I had Jazwinder (I think that's how you spell it?) and she's thorough and nice and at this point I'm not trusting my brows or bikini line to anyone else!

fabulous place. I go there every month for waxing and because my schedule is pretty tight I tend to go with whomever is available at my requested time, and no matter which technician I get, she is always competent at what she is doing along with being quick and getting everything done. Great space and great service. I was used to getting tweezed, and the threading experience at the end can be a little daunting if there is more than a few hairs or if there are some ones that are hard to get - but overall, love the cold compress, love that they offer the hydrocortisone. it's a bit expensive but it's worth the money if you can afford the luxury.

I'm not a fan of always having to annouce to the guard in the lobby that I am going to Shobha and then show him my ID (a-w-k-w-a-r-d)...

and the Shobha experiences I've had at the Madison or SoHo locations were much better, just in terms of the quality of the service itself (but this is completely a function of who you get; if and when I find someone here who is truly outstanding, I'll update with that info).

But overall, Shobha is a clean, professional, waxing-only salon--not as sketchy as a place that costs less, and not as, well, expensive as a place that costs more. ($50-something for a brazilian; if you get the waxing package, it works out to about $3 off/visit, but hey, it is inevitable you'll use that package up, right?) And honestly, once you're already getting plucked, trimmed, and rubbed down with hydrocortisone cream, what more services can a pricier place offer (!?)...aside from coming to your house, which is just creepy.

For someone who so far has preferred waxing to threading, this changed my mind.  It was an awesome atmosphere, and they did a great job.  I will be going back shortly and when the time comes for me to take the plunge into their other services, I will be coming here first.  :)  Keep in mind, if you pay with a card, you still have to tip in cash,

I LOVE SHOBHA.  I especially like this location, which seems to run a bit more smoothly (get it... smoothly. ha) than the others. I'm always taken promptly and I always feel well taken care of.

I have had particularly great experiences with Jamuna, and would highly recommend either of them.  Honestly though, I've never had a bad experience at either location that I've visited regardless of who my waxer was.  I'd recommend staying away from Promilla and Kavita, who tend to be inconsistent.

Trust me, I never thought when I began waxing all those years ago that I would actually claim to "love" anyone who committed such vicious acts against my most private of parts.  However they do it as painlessly and as well as they poooossibly can.  Worth the price.

So I called and complained about my wax.  They were really friendly about it and told me to come back in.  I told them I was going on vacation.  They said I could come when I got back.  I went back today, and everything was a breeze.  They were friendly and thorough and more importantly did not charge me for anything.

Definitely the most pain-free wax I've ever had but let's face it, waxing is still torture and so can't possibly get 5-stars.

I went recently for a first-time Brazilian.  I decided to add on an underarm wax since I was there and baring all.  Amina was my waxer.  The underarm wax came first, and WOW did that f*cker hurt.  I've had my underarms waxed many times before, and it never hurt that badly.  I'm not sure what the issue was, but they were still red and angry 2 days later!

The Brazilian was surpisingly not as bad as I was expecting (I went in there terrified).  She talked me through it.  With the exception of some very sensitive areas, it didn't hurt as much as I thought it would.  She used a combination of waxing and sugaring.

I wasn't a fan of the threading at the end, I didn't think it really got out that many strays and it hurt like a b*tch.  The compresses and the cortisone cream were a nice touch, as were the no double-dip policy and the gloves.  I liked the privacy and professionalism of the whole experience.

I'll definitely go back, and just maybe ask her to be a little gentler with my pits, or maybe do them in smaller batches.

I'm traumatized from my recent visit here.  Maybe that's just the nature of the beast, but I left all shaky and sweaty and not sure if I had ever felt such searing pain in my life.  Didn't get the finishing threading, but if it's as painful as some people attest, I am damn glad I didn't.  Ameena was my technician, she wasn't exactly gentle.  But um, hats off to all you brave souls who come here every month.  I did appreciate the gloves and no-dip policy, and the cold compress almost made me forget about my burning skin.  Would've given this 3 stars, but I walked-in without an appointment on a weekday evening and was seen immediately, so I'm upping it to 4 for their generous hours.

Jamuna was my waxer, and she was really great. Shobha is expensive, but they're very nice, and also way sanitary. I plan on going back, once I save up.

I went here for the first time after reading about the great reviews at the other locations. I need a good person to do eyebrows because i have had some really bad experiences which have left my brows is a permanent state of disarray.  They were asymmetrical, one was thinner than the other, etc...it was a mess. So when i made my appointment I asked for a senior threader since I didn't want to take any chances. I met with Shasha and she was awesome! My eyebrows have never looked so good. I can't wait to go back in 3 weeks. And she even worked around my messed up arch and asymmetry so now the brows look good even though i'm still waiting for some areas to grow in.

I've had my fair share of brazilians and this was by far the best. Jamuna was great, very nice and made me feel comfortable. It's worth the price, I'm definitely coming back!

I went here for my first brazilian (blush). Being hopelessly loyal, I'll probably return unless I get an excellent referral from someone I know. The building was difficult to find and somewhat embarrassing to enter (you have to ask the inevitably male guard to direct you to Shobha!). Fortunately, the office itself is a beautiful, fragrant, peaceful, and jewel-toned oasis. Sadly, the keyed shared bathrooms in the hall disrupt the experience. My wax was as realistically "painless" as one can expect I guess. I felt confident about the cleanliness of everything, which is very important to me. Despite the website's promise that the aesthetician would verbalize and walk you through every step, I didn't find this accurate. Especially when, towards the end of the process, I asked Promila whether we were finished. She snapped, and said "I'll tell you." She was somewhat rough too, so I may ask for someone else next time. In any case, I'll probably return just because I don't know where else to go and I really liked the cleanliness, privacy, and ambiance of Shobha. Very pricey though.

Shobha has officially converted me to threading.  I have an unsual shape to my eyebrows which has resulted in me being the victim of several botched waxing jobs.  After a couple of attempts to find a salon in Manhattan, I had given up hope and resorted to just taking care of my eyebrows myself.  I tried Shobha after hearing a couple of friends talk about how much they liked the salon and the rest is eyebrow history!  I found the threading to be comparable to waxing (in terms of pain) but the results aesthetically far exceeded my expectations.  Promila shaped my eyebrows into the exact shape that they should be with exceptional precision.  I'm definitely building every other week trips to Shobha into my schedule!
