I have a new business-crush!!  And it's totally this place...*heart heart heart!*

So I came here due to my date's suggestion, and let me just say it was a really FUN, fabulous time...(side note: If your company isn't as great as mine was, I can't promise that your fun will be as high-level!)

We went mini-golfing first, on course 3 (because course 1 was closed and course 2 not as much fun, according to him).  I cannot even remember how old I was the last time I tried my hand at this game, so even though I wasn't the best at it, I still had a very enjoyable experience.  My date was a very sweet and encouraging coach and SUCH a gentleman that he even held my purse for half the time as we cavorted through the holes.

Yeah, I was having so much fun I actually fell down somewhere around hole 14 and scraped my knee...  Note to self: don't wear boots and fishnets to mini-golf anymore!

I was able to stick it out until the 18th hole and then we went over to my car to pick up some first aid supplies...boy was I glad I left my first aid kit in there! :)

We had worked up a little appetite so then we went inside to the food area...I had a turkey sandwich, he had a tuna salad sandwich.  I thought mine seemed rather dry (juicy lettuce was the only condiment!) so I was glad there was some mustard available.

The food here is only 3 stars, but then again I was surprised to see any healthy options on a menu mostly peppered with delicious junk! They even had salads!

Later we had some fun in the arcade and at the batting cages...
All in all, we spent a good ~5 hours here!

This place is fun times! I can't wait to go back!!

Gosh, I feel like the batting cages are run down. In the slow-pitch cages, there is often a wait. It is no fun to be yelled at by a father to hurry the heck up so he could get his daughter in.

In terms of the lay-out of the mini-golf courses, they try and give you the option of three courses. However, they seem pretty much the same! They lack fun little pieces of mini pieces of architecture and the bright blue ponds here and there just seem kind of sad. Where are the windmills? The funny, kitsh pieces that you hit your golf ball over and laugh at until your stomach hurts are no where to be found.

And the arcade? Meh. So they have an air hockey table or two. I am still not excited. Perhaps this place is more fun if you are 10 or have a nostalgia from going here as a kid. For an adult transplant, it isn't much of a big deal and is worth skipping.

I've been wanting to go Mini-golf (or putt-putt to you strange people who call it that) since December. I haven't been for a long time. At least 2-3 years. I mean, what's the deal with that? How could you go on for so long without mini-golf in your life? Nothing makes you feel more taller than pushing a small ball around a lot of large obstructive items like windmills and dragons.

I brought it up plenty of times and it was never something on the top of the list of things worth doing so thus.. the itch remains. I think one time it was way to cold to mini-golf. I mean, sure, it would give me an advantage since I have a cold heart the cold weather wouldn't effect me! Though, to be perfectly honest.. this Mini-golf place next to the 405 on a cold night would be a combined situation of a lot of wind.

I do recall coming here in years past. Walking past the batting cages and the cracking of the bats.. something that you will not be hearing when you swing your putter. OOooh, I get why you call it putt putt now!

The whole water near the small structures does look good. While it's not the most original or the prettiest looking mini-golf place, it's still plenty of chances to get your game on and have a fun time. Just don't come here when it's too dark. You wont be able to find your missing ball in the lake.

Castle Park offers two impressive eighteen-hole courses, batting cages, an arcade, and nachos. What more could you ask from a mini-golf course?! This is a fun place to bring a date or come with a large group. Warning: if you roll up your sleeves and sit on the fake ninja motorcycle in the arcade, it's a guarantee that girls won't talk to you. Castle Park, cheesy, but always fun.

I love coming here in the day time when there is still light so you can see where your ball goes if you hit it off the green!
If you go at night there are way more people that you will have to wait or skip ahead a hole, people are usually really nice and let you play through if they take a long time. If you lose your ball just go to the attendant and tell them that you can't find it and they will give you another one.
This place is fun if you have had a drink or two before!
The games were alright but I don't really like games to say how great they are.

I looooove coming here for some old school, tacky, cheap mini golf.  There are three courses and I believe it's only about $15 for two courses.  They also have a very fun arcade with some very cool games, but the food here sucks..don't eat the food!  I'm warning you.  I prefer going during the day when all the chirren are at school and it's less crowded and you don't have to park in BFE just to get there.

Classic mini-golfing at its finest. Every time I visit family in the area, we have to make a stop here and play all three courses. (Psst. Don't tell anyone but avoid the 18th hole which forces you to forefeet your ball.) Its obviously been around for ever, but there is a simple charm about the place that you wouldn't get from a newly constructed amusement center. (Has a new mini golf course been even built in the past 20 years?)

I don't quite understand it, but my 8 year old son would rather spend the afternoon mini golfing than any amusement park. Big time cost savings of $6 a person vs... Holes are very basic, but challenging enough for the age group and landscaped and arranged as to be very pleasing to the eye. Lots of greenery and water.

As this is a LA city park, it attracts all walks of life, so it is very egalitarian. That can also be a negative as not everyone knows proper golfing etiquette like waiting for the group ahead to finish fully before the next group approaches a hole. Sometimes its the kids fault, but other times the parents hang out in the party area while leaving the kids to their own devices.

Came here today with two friends to play a few rounds of overly competitive mini golf (for money) and had a great time ! The price is $6.95 for adults and if and additional $3 per game after that ( Everyone just cheats the last hole and keeps their ball to play again but I believe in karma or I''m just becoming a square in my old age). We started with course #3 which I thought was the best one and then played course #2. Both had some pretty fun holes but according to them EVERYTHING is a par 3. Each course is 18 holes which is pretty cool too !

After those exhausting two rounds of mini gold we moved inside to the arcade where we purchased a couple of Churros ($2.15 each) and decided to play some arcade games. They have a decent selection of games here. 2 air hockey tables, a bunch of Fast and the Furious games, guitar hero, etc... For the old kids like me they had Metal Slug, Street Fighter and a few other classics which are all only 25 cents each.

This place has been around for a long time and still has the same vibe and appeal as when I came here 15 years ago. It's nice to see that there are still a few of these little gems of fun hiding out in the world...

Damnit...i swear...if you can't hit 80 MPH...THEN DON'T GET INTO THE CAGE!!! go into the 60 MPH or if you need to warm up...try the softball machine if you have to...but i hate when this happens:

[Guy comes with friends...he thinks he's the next big-time baseball player...has under armour gear and even brings his own bat and helmet]

Cool guy: 80 MPH isn't that hard to hit bro...i did it last time. watch...i'm not even going to warm up. just give me a couple of pitches and i'll start hitting the crap out of that ball.

yeah...took more like a couple of hundred pitches for the bastard to hit it...

Took a spoiled kid my wife was tutoring here and he really had a good time. The entire time he's talking about how he's rich (the kid is 8) and how he's going to beat me at mini golf.
Yeah, I creamed him. But then he started talking about all the places he's been to that I haven't. I don't miss that kid.
The mini golf course was good. A few easy courses, a few hard ones. Enjoyed a nice, expensive root beer as I walked around. Play a few games in the arcade, tried to win something for wife but I couldn't. Never did the kid, so I don't feel so bad.
Good times for the whole family or just the people who are babysitting a spoiled kid for 3 hours on a Saturday.

We went to play golf and to the batting cages and we had a good time. It is fairly inexpensive, so it is a good place to go in a recession!

There are some meat heads at the batting cages who think they are all that, then fail to hit a single ball.

The only thing that bothered me was that there was a million nats outside on the course....ugh. But it is outside so what can you expect. I just HATE bugs.

We will go again for sure.

I still call this place Malibu Castle, even though the name was changed ages ago, but it speaks to how many years I've been coming here.  A lot.  I loved the Castle as a kid, and it's still fun as an adult, especially because it's open until 11 on weeknights!  Nice to have something to do with friends late at night that isn't a movie.

There are three golf courses, all slightly different, not just in the buildings (windmill, haunted house, etc.), but also in the setups of the holes.  Someone complained the course is old, and yeah, it could use a little work: the surface around the holes can be uneven, so you can putt a ball perfectly and have it suddenly curve around the hole, or a slowing ball meander around for a while.

I last went at night and the course could be better-lit between holes.  Despite the hour, people were still waiting for others, and then large groups would just tromp through our game to get to the next hole.  Uncool.  Also, it's a bit awkward to try and stay on par while people are making out three feet away.  The bunnies on the course are fun; originally, I thought it was only wild cottontails, but last time I saw a black-and-white bunny that had certainly been a pet.  The water parts are a bit creepy in that the water has a ton of blue dye in it, but it kinda adds to the storybook flavor, along with the flower-shaped lights.

The arcade is noisy and basically what you'd expect, and there are games where you can earn tickets to trade for crummy prizes, and games you don't win anything on.  There's also a batting cage, which ranges from slow pitch to 80 MPH, and that stays open late, too, if you need to get some aggression out after 10pm.

i love this place but they need to step up their maintenance on a lot of their arcade games. shit kept getting jammed up, no tickets etc.

the mini golf courses are loads of fun, but same thing, they gotta fix some of them holes, especially the ones where the ball travels through those underground tubes to come out the other side. my little brother's ball got stuck twice on two different holes.

the batting cages were dope. i've yet to muster up the courage to go on the baseball pitch ones =(

overall this place is solid, staff is friendly, and so are the folks that visit.

One of the best mini golf places I've been to thats for sure. I remember the last time I went here for my friends birthday (about 2 years ago... I'm overdue) we smoked so much in the car and then tried to mini golf but got too hungry, so we tried to steal the clubs to play later and a security guard came after us and we said we "forgot" to turn in the clubs.... we stole the balls though just for fun. Evil I know. But hey, it was all for good times.
Anyways, I must say, compared to how Mountasia used to be, this mini golf place is my fave. The course is bigger and more visually entertaining. And they have skeeball. Hell yes! Here I can show off my real skills. I remember their food sucked though. And it was ofcourse expensive. But it was a ton of fun with friends. I'm going back soon.

I've passed by this miniature golf park for over a decade and finally recently went. I don't know what makes a mini golf park a good one....but I can tell you what made our experience not-so-great...
1) Hot Valley weather. It's no fun to be outside when it's 80 degrees at 9 p.m. at night.
2) Crowded. We often had to wait and had people waiting on us.
3) One of the holes was filled with water so you had to reach in and get your hand wet....gross....

One random thing is what we saw two rabbits running around the grass which was rather novel! It wasn't in the best condition but not horrible either. I guess what makes mini golf fun is your company so I would be down to return again one day in the same great company!

Fun batting cage if you can get over the nasty helmets they spray (but who knows how much sweat has accumulated a.k.a. bacteria growth).

Nyways, they're open till SUPER late.  I think it was midnight.  So, on a Friday night, you can go there with your friends after getting severly intoxicated.   Instead of using a bat for example, spice it up a bit with a game of  "Hit the ball with the head!"
Mini golf is also available...and arcade for people on a stricter budget.

Daytime weekends are crowded with families....and kids.  You'll run into kids crying, yelling, wining, picking their nose, small kids that you'll almost knock over.  If you're germ conscious, I'd bring some sanitizers cuz who knows where those kids hands have been...

Once upon a time, a little girl named Frances went to Las Vegas a lot because her parents loved to gamble. They let her roam the arcades of the Strip and she found her one and only true love. Skeeball. And she lived happily ever after.

Okay, they have "Ice Balls" here but it's basically the same thing. I come here to play skeeball and to pretend I'm a kid again. It works out pretty well. The mini golf is a long thunderous process, so I usually get about 3/4ths of the way done and call it a day. That's better than it being really easy.

It's good for kids and the basketball game gives you a workout! And it's a castle! I love it!

Great place for those of us in LA Muni Softball to practice at the batting cages, since they have high-arc.  Better than Burbank's Batcade because it's lower-priced, and more cages.

Played mini-golf there after a cage session once, and it's OK.  I grew up going to Myrtle Beach, SC for vacation, and am used to these colossal pieces of art mini-golf courses, but for the rates CPSO charges, it's pretty great.

Good date-night activity, too!

4-stars might be pushing it -- but I've been so many times, I guess that makes me a fan.

I mean, you can't really go wrong with 3 mini-golf courses.  Each course has a touch of personality -- difficulty -- and the ability to cause such anger you want to beat some small kid with your putter..... just kidding.  Maybe.

Anyway -- I only really go there for the highly competitive mini-golf.  It's fine.  It's close.  It's really freakin cheap.

On weekends it can be a mad house with kids everywhere -- once I was there and a group was having a party in one of the patios by the course and they were all standing in the middle of one of the holes.  We looked at them, expecting them to move... but clearly they had no idea what they were doing.  Once we got them to realize they needed to move, they stood silent and watched us play.....um... ok.

I have never touched the food or batting cages.

At times, we'll play some games if we're bored... but really... it's about the golf.

Next time you see a really tall guy throwing his putter in the pond, wave, cuz it's probably me.

Aside from the fact that I lost at everything, and was completely cursed on the golf course, this was a fun date night.  The arcade has all the essentials (air hockey, skeeball) and the games don't eat your quarters and piss you off like at Santa Monica Pier or in Primm, Nv.  The food court has dippin dots, and there are three courses to choose from in your mini golf game.  WARNING:  On Course 2, Hole 14, there are two holes your ball can go into, and the one furthest from you is the one that ate my ball and never gave it back.

You can't beat any experience that only sets you back $6.50.  Unless you get bit by one of the millions of creepy spiders, and go to the hospital, and get an ER bill for $700.

Be careful what you wish or long for. I wrote the review below on 4.6.07. I was clearly feeling a bit nostalgic or PMSing or in some sort of hold me I'm a chick mood, cuz when I went yesterday, ugh, this place SUCKS!

I often think, hmm, I can see myself settling down one day, maybe having some littles of my own and being the kind of mom who would take her young to play mini golf if that's what they wanted to do, but oh hell no! This place could make you never want to have children. This place is the prime example of BAD parenting. This is the place they should send teenagers to on Easter Sunday to promote abstinence, because this place could make your ovaries go on strike!

It's sheer run down and dirty looking chaos and not in the good or kitsche way, but in the, this place is a dump and  "Listen kid, either hit the dirty ball near the hole and stop sitting down and holding 5 parties up behind you or we're tossing your spastic ass in the turquoise water!!" chaotic. (Oh yeah, i am sooo winning mother of the year with this review)

Oh and speaking of bad parenting, after only going through about 9 holes since our patience levels were at all time lows, we are walking out of the place and we look over to see a man holding his son almost horizontical across the turquoise water as the kid is trying to retrieve his ball with his club!!. Are you kidding me?1?! Does this numbskull not realize how dangerous that is? He came within an inch of falling in and taking the dad with him?! Here's an idea...Send the kid up to get another ball! Ugh.

FInally as we were leaving I only had but one question for the posse of teenage thugs walking up to the Castle and that is this? "Since when is wearing a Mickey Mouse jacket, thugged out?" Now pull your damn pants up son, you're embarrassing!

4.6.07:
Wow, I haven't thought about this place for ages. And when I say ages I mean like, since I was 17, so that was a very long time ago. This and the THEN cool Sherman Oaks Galleria were my old stomping grounds as a youngster. We used to take the bus from Studio City up to Sepulveda and Ventura and grab a snack and giggle at the mall and buy Goomie bracelets and big hoop earrings and then once that got old, we'd come down here and check out boys. ooooh boys :)

It was great! I mean, you had the little punks rockin the PacMan, the Mortal Combat and the ski-ball and then there were the jocks. They'd be swinging their sticks in the batting cages and we'd all group together and giggle and swoon over some dork swinging a bat. I say dork, cuz most of us were dorks at 17. I certainly was and really, how cool can you be at that age?

We'd also play mini golf and have a fantastic time laughing and trying to talk crap to each other. I wasn't allowed to say shit back then, so it was talkin crap ;)

I need to come back here as an adult and play a few holes, cash in some game tickets and eat a slice of really bad pizza just for shits n giggles cuz those were some really good times :)

I am only qualified to review the batting cage, as I have not frequented the miniature golf course (although I have walked over the bridge of the 1st hole numerous times on my way to the pisser and can tell you that the ponds have way too much blue dye in them).  I have also not actually played any games in the arcade of death, but since that is where the pisser is, that is where I go.

At any rate, the batting cage is decent.  Not great.  It would get three stars, but the pitches often come in inside so far that if you swing at them, you hit your bat against the side fence.

The parking lot makes me want to dip.

I haven't tried the mini golf here, but it's definitely the best place around for some swings in the batting cages.  I usually go once a week with some team mates from softball and usually in the evening.  It's open late so it's perfect for an after work session.  30 swings in the cages cost $3.00 and they'll lend you a helmet and a bat.  There are three cages that have slowpitch softball and around 6+ for baseball.

Every time I go, the nostalgic baseball side of me comes out and I wonder if I can hold my own against the 90 mph pitch.  But then the practical side scoffs and rhetorically asks, "Do you really want to make an ass of yourself?!"

Ok....went here last Thursday.....

I hung out here when I was about 12....which takes me back 20 years...doesn't look like they upgraded alot since then.....

The downside...they were doing construction....so I guess they are upgrading something....

Games are expensive now....even skee Ball is 50 cents

not a whole lot of good games....

the upside...

Still a cheap way to spend a few hours

brings back memories....its fun to be a kid....

nothing like a little putt-putt

anyway I was with 3 friends, and we decided to run to Gyu Kaku for dinner.....jumped in friends car....went to eat....came back to Castle Park....to find my car locked inside.....I never noticed they close the damn parking lot....so I was shit out of luck.....but still we had fun......its a good place to go with a group of goofball friends...

Mini Golf!  Kieran and I had so much fun here.  We kind of went on whim deciding to do dinner and a movie, bowling or miniature golf.

We both realized it has been pretty much years since either of us have gone we decided on mini-golf and between his place in NoHo and my place in Agoura Hills, we thought this would be perfect to frequent because no matter which place were staying it's not that far from either.

Anyways, after dinner we headed over there at around 9 pm and were scared it might either be closing soon or would be really crowded.  Neither!

The place closed at midnight and it wasn't busy at all.  We got to rounds in and I won (we're both pretty competitive coming from golf families).

There were younger crowds but they were all chill and polite, no annoyances.  It was great!

We didn't dive into the batting cages or the arcade games, but we did enjoy our own little packets of dots and 32 ounce sodas.... there is a $10 minimum at the food stand and all I wanted was a coke...so I had to by a couple more unnecessary things to go over $10.

Good time, we'll definitely be back there again!!

Haven't been for a while now, but I have fond memories of mini-golf and such. It's one of those places where you go when you have ABSOLUTELY nothing to do and nowhere to go and no one can decide on anything so then one random friend will say "hey how bout the shermak oaks castle park?" and then everyone agrees because anything sounds better than being bored out of your mind...phew. I remember going with big groups of friends and having to rush because the people behind us in mini golf were getting annoyed...ah good times.

Mini golf! I recently felt the need to pretend I am still 10 years old so I got a few equally childish co-workers to come out for a round. It was so much fun, way more than when I was the actual age this place is probably intended for. Actually, going at night is a good way to not feel pathetic surrounded by kids. There were some teenagers on dates, and perhaps some other adults not with kids. Either way I don't care, I frickin won! I won! And this is despite the setback where I got so upset at getting a par 6+ on a hole I simply could not get the ball into, I hit my ball into the water and had to go back and get another. I love that they give out seconds though, that would have sucked. Our group was first in the course but there were people waiting for us to finish each hole, which was a little stressful when we sucked, the place must involve a lot of waiting around at busier times.

After golfing we went to the arcade. They have skeeball, the best arcade game ever invented, and I kicked ass there too. There's a photo booth too, for the completion of my total regression to adolescence. Strangely, this is where I choose to mention they don't serve beer and how much better that would have been...

And I've never used it but the batting cages look like fun, and are always pretty crowded.

Came here yesterday with a bunch of co-workers for a fun afternoon away from the office.  I haven't played mini golf in years and was feeling kind of apprehensive about making a fool of myself in front of my co-workers since the last time we had a work event, everyone (except me) voted in favor of bowling, and I haven't ever bowled higher than a 50.  Yeah, I suck.

Back to the mini golfing.  I'm pretty crappy at this too, but I at least had a good time.  Especially since I didn't do the the worst in my little group.  The holes weren't anything too spectacular, but one of the girls I was playing with made up for it by whacking her ball into the roof of the mini house (hole 7?  I can't remember) and watching it land in the shrubs.  I think I might want to check out the arcade sometime since I noticed it had Skee Ball and I love that game!

FAQ

Q: Isn't this place awful?
A: Awfully awesome!

Q: The lighting at the batting cages are terrible!
A: Clearly, that's not a question. The lights could be better but it just makes you work harder on keeping your eye on the ball.

Q: The arcade is piss-poor.
A: Questions, people, Frequently Asked QUESTIONS. Anyway. This place has (a) basketball hoop game, (b) miniature golf and (c) batting cages. Unless you're pre-12 years old, you don't have to worry about the arcade.

FYI ... It's cheap. It's good times. Go at night to avoid bratty kids. Get her to do Dance Dance Revolution for the first time. Get yourself to do Dance Dance Revolution for the second time in your life. Wonder if those tokens would've been better used to play more of that basketball game.....

I've been going to Castle Park for 8 billion years.  Many a junior high classmate birthday party happened here, stupid boys throwing their golf balls in the adjacent L.A. river, while the girls giggled about how stupid we boys were.

The arcade still has the Sunset Riders I used to play when I was 12!

The grounds (3 different golf courses) are well kept, the batting cages are always crowded, and the arcade is a blast!  Can get really crowded on weekends, and the ticket-dispensing games (skeeball, etc) are kind of stingy with the tickets.  But it's always a fun time.

Oh Castle Park. Every time I think of you I can only hear one thing...

"NOOO I WANT IT NOW!"

Everywhere you turn there is a brat screaming their lungs out. Now I love kids. However for some strange reason Castle Park always manages to attract Parents who can't control their spoiled children. It's like a sea of Veruca Salts with no trash compactor in sight.

Despite all this Castle Park still manages to be a cheesy good time. The mini-golf courses are a little worn here and there, but still really fun to play through. You can pick your ball color and pick your course and just go for it. Oh, for all you short folks(Yay 5'2!) they have clubs in various lengths.

The arcade is a fairly decent place. It reminds me of a cheaper scaled down Chuck E Cheese's. Their are a bit more adults inside, and as long as you stay away from the DDR machines you should be golden. The ticket reward system is in place here, so if you're on a date you can always challenge them to a game of skee ball for prizes. Beware though, you'll have to play a lot of skee ball to get anything better than a pencil.

The food is iffy, so I suggest you stick to soda and get a few beers or something light at Golden Chopstix a Chinese place not too far away.

this place really is a classic, and my childhood would not have been the same without it, which is why it gets 4 stars.
now that i'm all grown up, it's still so much fun to get hammered and come mini golfing. too bad i lost my ball on the 3rd hole. haha.
it's a good place to come on a date, because when you're done with golfing, you can have some fun at the arcade.
just make sure you eat before or after because the food there sucks.

unless you're drunk. hahaha. i think i say that about everything.

ahh, PS:  watch out for the MILLIONS of spiders at night. they're gigantic, and everywhere. so just stay on the path and don't try any funny business unless you want to get bitten. and die.

3 minigolf courses for your Tiger Woods-like aspirations? Check!

A batting cage that'll leave your hand in pain for a week? Check!

An arcade that's as useful as a chicken on Thanksgiving? Check!

Local kids who have nothing better to do than to try to be cool at a quasi amusement park? Check!

If you've been looking for a place that's full of mysteries such as, "Where did four of my balls disappear to?" then this place is for you!

I'd probably pass on the food, though...

Holy crap! Mini golf still exists and it's still fun! I had forgotten. A buddy of mine was back in town this past weekend and a few of us old friends got together for some lunch and reminiscing. After we finished our food my visiting friend had some extra time before his flight.

"What should we do?"

"Dude.....mini golf!"

In harmony "Yeah!"

So over to Castle Park we mosied for some old school good times. I was amazed to find that the prices for mini golf were still pretty reasonable and it wasn't all that crowded for a Sunday afternoon. The golf courses were a little run down, but not horribly so. We played a round and got all competitive, talked some trash and enjoyed each others' misfortunes just a little too much. Just like old times.

A note though: Avoid course #2 - It runs along the oh-so-beautiful 405 and also the attractive scrap yard or whatever the heck that eyesore is. Also, be aware of all the gnats around the fountains and whatnot.

Yeah, you should probably avoid the food too, but damn, if you didn't know that, you've got a little problem with that there intellect.. People don't go to miniature golf courses for the pizza.

As far as the arcade is concerned, it used to be a lot better. But then again, I used to be a lot more into arcades, so go figure. Still, there is air-hockey(can I get a "hell yes"?) and skeeball, though I miss the older, less colorful skeeball games of yesteryear. *listens to bones creak*

So yeah, the place is a little run down, there are lots of poorly behaved kids with substandard parents and the food sucks. But hey, it's mini golf, whaddya expect? Fun? Well they still have some of that here.

There are three (or maybe two) different 18-hole courses.  The place is colorful and the holes are fun/kind of covered with leaves.  It's not all crazy and lit up and moving like those fake minigolf places they have in movies.  It's more made from stucco and not moving.  The arcade is filled with expensive/fun games, including my new favorite: Virtual Jump Rope.

And there's a batting cage.

Is it ok that at my age I enjoy a good game of miniature golf? Well I do! Watch out Tiger Woods! Tristen Woods is here!

I've been here for a birthday and with just a few friends. Last time I was here at 10pm and it was a million degrees out. So to cool off we purposely hit our golf balls in the direction of the water

"FOUR!!!!!!!!"

*SMACK!*

*SPLASH!*

"Oh no I "accidental" hit my ball into the water. I better go get it!" tee-hee.

If your not into mini golf they also have video games and batting cages. Alcohol is not allowed on the premises nor do they serve it but I've brought my other partner in crime "the flask" with me a few times ;) He's well behaved.

The crowd's mostly younger kids with their folks either celebrating their birthdays or just spending some quality time. At least they're doing it at some place fun as appose to some place that's not fun. Like the therapist office. They' re open late on the weekends til 12 and 11 on other nights. It's fairly cheap too if your not looking to spend a lot of money in one night.

I love mini golf, especially the kind where you make up your own rules.

This place gets heat stroke hot in the summer, so go at night, or quit halfway through due to hangover and throw your ball into the last hole. Sunday pre-brunch mini golf in August is never a good idea. Not to mention, the screams of the children seem to resonate more loudly at this time.

... which brings me to this: The kids are part of the reason for the missing stars in my rating. I know it isn't their fault, but damn they let kids act like banshees in here. When i was a youngin, I remember there was always a security guard at the arcade to throw your ass out if you got too rowdy. But such is the age of self-entitlement these days.
And they don't serve sweet sweet alcohol to dull the pain of the children's laughs.

If they were smart, they would add go-carts, throw in a bar and make this place 18+ only after 9 pm.
