I'm pretty sure the Sheraton Sunnyvale hates me and my family.  We're loud, obnoxious and keep the party going until the wee hours of the morning.

I will start from the time I landed at SJC.  My aunts were busy and coudln't pick me up.  I was given the number for the hotel and they sent over a shuttle for free!  It was great!  The driver was nice, personable and really friendly.

The hotel is really pretty nice.  I liked the beds, and since the last time we were there (2 years ago) the rooms were fitted w/ regular flat screen TVs.  Noowww they have these fancy pants LCD HD huge skinny tvs!  The beds are nice, comfy and the bathrooms are well lit with this great space underneath the sinks that stays cool throughout the night.  The ground level rooms have patios which are helpful for the family members who like carcinogens in their lungs, and some even have a pool side view.

The bar in the hotel on the other hand kinda really sucks.  I mean, i'ts nice, it's a very nice restaurant, however the service in it really sucks.

The event hall room is nice, too.  They have that parque' floors for dancing, a nice food set up area and fits all bazillion Filippino people in my family.

One note I need to remind people is that I am not that big.  I can't really handle my alcohol.  for some reason when I get around my family I drink like a fish.  4 fingers of grand marnier topped off my night (after 4 sapphire martinis and little food).

As I've shared with my family and a select few, I've got some pretty gnarley bruises and discovering more every day!

I like this hotel and hope we didn't cause too much of a ruckus, I hope we can come back in '10.  We were kicked out of the originial hotel we held it at...

The welcoming staff here give this hotel a boutique feel.  I had the best nights sleep on a hotel bed?!  I couldn't believe how comfortable it was.  I loved the in room Starbucks coffee and the shampoo they provide actually worked better than my store bought shampoo!  The best parts of my stay was the large heated pool that already had pool toys for my kids to play with and the surprise summer outdoor movie that was provided complimentary on the lawn area where they typically have weddings.  It was super romantic!  I couldn't believe that I was in Sunnyvale!  It was a perfect weekend vacation at just the right price!

I'm not sure if it's the location or what but it's pretty hard to get a room here during the week on short notice.  I prefer it to the Fairmont even though it is not as ornate because they have: 1) Bliss products; 2) a modern design aesthetic; 3) flat screen TV's and 4) a hot tub.

I do not like that they charge for internet access.  Considering the rate for the rooms, I think that's pretty much nickel and diming guests but maybe that's just me.

I think I just gained 20 pounds...yes, the food is that good.

(NOTE: this is a review of their meeting space and F&B services).

I just came back from hosting a small meeting here- it was my 2nd meeting at this venue and I am pretty pleased with everything.

-The venue is gorgeous. The small meeting room I booked had views of their beautifully landscaped gardens. Absolutely stunning.
-Food is amazing. Faz does the catering for their meetings and I just can't say one bad thing about it. Only problem is...I can't stop eating the leftover chocolate covered strawberries. Ugh. Where is the Dom when you need it?!?!
-The place would get 5 stars, but on-site staff is a little slow (they were awful at my first event, a bit better this time). But then again, I lack patience and I'm a needy beotch...

This Sheraton has been going through a major renovation, at least the inside.

The guest rooms are spacious, nice and trendy, with new furniture. Plus, they come with my favorite Bliss toiletries. (Just like all Starwoods?)

As of Jan 2008, the lobby area is still under construction and is a bit dusty, but now is probably the best time to enjoy this facility. The rates are still fair, and we got the impression that many of the rooms were vacant despite the time of the year (holiday season). The bar looks decent, the pool is large (but still under construction), and the gym has brand new machines with personal tv screens. There's plenty of parking. (Again, the place wasn't even close to being fully occupied.)

Unfortunately, the place is a little isolated. There's really nothing around but office buildings. And the receptionists aren't the friendliest, and we certainly didn't feel too welcomed...but nonetheless, we'll be coming back when there are no better options.

Is this a hotel or an apartment complex?  The lobby is gorgeous and the front desk agents were quick and friendly.  The rooms are clean, spacious and modern.  Bed is comfy and didn't experience the bottom sheet sliding everywhere like other hotels have problems with.  They do offer Bliss products, but also know that they are not the regular Bliss you would expect at their spas, Sephora or the W Hotels...it's "Blisslabs" instead.  Not sure what it is or what it consists of, but it's better then no name products.  Try to request a room on the 1st floor as you have your own patio area to sit out on and enjoy some tasty beverages or room service (watch out for the breakfast though...sadly Denny's is better, which was a shock).  Overall, it was a nice, relaxing visit and if you come to Sunnyvale to do anything fun...uhhhh, you should plan on going to another city.  It is very close to Shoreline Ampitheater though!!!
