As an SPG Platinum member, I've seen my share of Sheraton brand hotels, and I can rank this one second to the very worst (the Four Points Sheraton in Miami Beach clinching the bottom of the barrel prize). For those of us with fear of heights, the glass elevators (with maintenance certs current as of the early part of the decade) feel more like a Disney attraction designed to scare the living hell out of you. They inspire a sense of vertigo as they clunk along to your room, the broken tiles on the bottom of the elevator actually reveal that you're not standing on top of much, and the alert tone when you've finally reached your floor is so loud that it made my ears ring.

The accommodations feel like an abandoned Embassy Suites at an out-of-fashion business park. I had the pleasure of finding blood stains on my comforter and sheets, and the remnants of what must have been a Sasquatch haircut in my bathtub. What's not like Embassy Suites is the typical Sheraton nickel-and-diming of every amenity. Food service has the distinction of incurring two different service charges, and movies on the TV have three. The exercise room stinks of sweat and half of the machines aren't tuned which means you're as likely to strain an ankle as you are to shed some calories.

If you're like me and are stuck having to use the SPG family, the Westin further down the street is a much better alternative.

Stayed here on a biz trip recently.

Clearly, this place is a converted Embassy Suites.  The rooms were clean and had more modern amenities and decor.

The food was terrible - we had the breakfast buffet.  Eggs were cold, bacon was undercooked (and I mean undercooked not just "soft"), they didn't have all the right equipment available in the right places (I had to go searching for a cereal bowl and spoon).

Overall, if you need a place to stay, this will be fine, just don't eat here.

Very nice folks.  With all the hidden fees it gets up to $189 a night during the week.  The room had a musty smell in the work room.  had to pay $9.95 for wi-fi (or work in the lobby). No kleenex in the bathroom. Bath tub stopper wouldn't open so showering ankledeep in soapy water.  Breakfast had barely hot Starbuck's coffee, eggs over easy were crusty, but nice sausage.  The worst part was the train horns in the middle of the night and gas blowers at 7:30 in the morning.  Wish I had tried the Westin a couple blocks away.  These were the toughest Starwood points I've earned in years.

Went to a wedding here tonight.  Pool side cocktails were nice and the staff was friendly.  The reception room was decorated very nicely, but I think the wedding planner probably had a lot to do with that.  The food was decent (we had the salmon), but others at our table ordered beef and they ran out, so they had to make alternate choices.  A bit strange since we all had to write what we wanted on the replies to the invites.  All was going well until there was a power problem...then the AC went out.  The brought a very small portable unit in for the bride, which she about sat on top of to cool off (I have a pic of that).  I don't think that I would plan my wedding here, but I would attend another if invited.  We did not have a chance to go into the rooms, but I believe this used to be an Embassy Suites.  We did have a light snack in the bar/grill area and it was a little over priced (like most hotels) but the food was not too bad.
