I had to work in the Holyoke Mall so this was basically the closest and was the most economical expensive hotel in the area. Very close to the Holyoke Mall and was only a $20 cab ride. The guy in the lobby was really helpful and nice. I think he gave me an upgrade although the room seemed average. (there was an extra sink - big deal)

Free bottles of water is always somewhat of a plus. The design of the hotel was old and bathroom kind of smelt like fish (if you know what I mean).

I liked the view of the Marriott parking lot and it was kind of funny because this hotel had a courtyard-like design without a courtyard!

Didn't get to see the pool unfortunately, would stay here again cause I am not staying at the Super 8 Holyoke! Wasn't here long enough to get  too much of a positive or very negative impression.

If you're unlucky enough to be on a business trip in Springfield, the Sheraton is probably one of your standby hotel choices.  This particular Sheraton was home to the least appealing Starwood room I've found in recent years... threadbare and a little smelly on top of the already-blah Sheraton design standard.

Granted, I was a little bitter to be in Springfield and alone, and I can't fairly compare it to any of the other hotels in town.  After this last time, however, I'd be tempted to stay in a countryside B&B or in Hartford and just make the drive into town.

Stayed here with my wife and son well visiting the area and since I grew up in the area I remember how it was when I was younger. How it has changed for the worse. The inside of this place is just okay and is a bit tired and outdated. It is large, but is so deserted, no one was around. It connects to a old rundown shopping mall that has nothing in it and if you venture farther outside, you are stuck in almost a ghetto of downtown Springfield. You have to park your car in a scary garage and it is a waste of time. For the price, you can do a lot better and be a lot safer.
