Suprisingly NICE hotel in the middle of this small town. We were passing through on a cross-country roadtrip, & stayed here on the way to Mt. Rushmore.

It's located right next to the convention ctr. & minor league baseball stadium, so they spent some $$$ building the hotel.  We got an amazing last-minute rate of $79/night as we were planning the roadtrip based on how far we could drive per day.  Excellent place to stay.

5 Stars - Are you people serious?

I stayed on a Friday night on the club level, the front desk staff apologized that the lounge wouldn't be doing evening drinks or breakfast Saturday morning - most properties will give a coupon for a free appetizer or a bottle of wine at the restaurant if the lounge is closed, but no such perk exists at the Sheraton Sioux Falls.  :(

The lounge was actually locked, and there was no link@sheraton anywhere so I was forced to pay for wifi. After spending 100 nights a year in starwood properties I think it is really tacky to be charged $10 to send 3 emails.

The elevators are in this open air atrium, and they're set to chime on every floor, which I could hear from within my room. Annoying.

The pillows smelled weird.

This is also the only starwood property I've ever stayed in that has a "Shirt and Shoes Required" sign posted at the club lounge. Though that is probably more of a reflection on South Dakota than the specific property.

I was at the clubhouse my first few nights as the Sheraton was full, but if I found myself in Sioux Falls again I'd probably just stay at the clubhouse.

Stayed here on our move out west.  This was a very lovely hotel.  The beds are extremely comfortable, as are the pillows.  The pool is fairly large and clean and there are also a hot tub and sauna which are both in very good condition, but can get very hot so be careful.
The food at this hotel is excellent.  We ordered to our room for dinner and the food arrived in a very timely manner.  There is only a $2.75 additional charge for room service which is very reasonable, and then they also include the 15% tip for the server.  For breakfast we dined in the dining room, and the service was not as good, but the food was still amazing.
The worst part of this hotel is that the towels are very very scratchy!  Definitely stay here, just bring your own towels :)
Fitness room with treadmill, bike, and weights.

Hands down the best hotel in the city.
Nice Bar, good food.
Has Pool, sauna, excercise room, mini-starbucks.
Nice rooms, stay in the exec wing if you have the choice for the best.

Stayed here in March for a family wedding.  They put us in the executive wing even though we were paying the group-wedding block rate which wasn't bad.  Had super nice bathroom, plasma TV, all the fixins, and a VERY comfortable bed.  Pool was nice and warm.  The bar/atrium area downstairs is lovely, and we had a HUGE group there for drinks and mingling after the rehearsal dinner.  We actually moved over here from the Fairfield (where we were staying for free) because it was so nice and to be co-located with the rest of the family (and the bus the bride had rented to run us back and forth to the wedding & reception!)  The Sunday breakfast/brunch was great - good food and huge selection.  They charged less for the buffet when they noticed we only ate breakfast foods.
