We stayed at both the SPG Platinum floor and the newly renovated tower.

Once we finally made it to the check in counter they were very nice an helpful.  The renovated rooms are perfectly clean and appropriate for business travel, but I much preferred the SPG Floors in the old side.  The room was just as clean and was actually larger.   You will appreciate the SPG side because its closer to the SPG lounge.

I still love the SPG program and believe it's the best rewards program running.
Oh, I almost forgot the Lobby is beautiful and makes for very nice photos.

Of course I'm a fan.  And I rack up points with the Sheraton so I can look like a big pimp when I come to Seattle and show the bros where I'm staying, for free!

Ok, enough of me sounding like a douchebag.  This is the nicest Sheraton I've stayed in stateside.  My standard double was comfortable.  I had a decent view facing The Cheesecake Factory.  The lobby area is a great place to chill while you're waiting for your friends to show up with broken-in chairs and couches and coffee tables with floating things in them.  And even better than the lobby is the bar.  Cool staff there in the Grill.

My only complaint was with the front desk.  The girl who helped me seemed like she was working her very first job with the public, super awkward and she talked fast but only said like 2 words at a time.  It was weird.

This hotel is one of the stops that the Gray Line bus makes.  Getting here to and from the airport is a breeze btw and fyi.

I stayed here for a business meeting and I was very happy with my stay.

My criteria for a good hotel stay is simple: interactions with staff, location, bed and gym.  Everyone I spoke with and had help me were friendly and got the job done without issue.  The hotel location enabled me to walk to many fun places in downtown within minutes.  The bed was comfy but not too cushy.  Finally the gym was among the best equipped that I've used.

In addition to these personal standard items, I had a great views from my room and conference rooms (almost not conducive for being productive and attentive) and the hotel food was pretty good.

I've had good experiences with Starwood hotels in the past and was happy to have another good stay here.  When I come back to Seattle, I'll give the Sheraton another visit.

Had only a short stay as we arrived by train at about 9:00 pm and left early the next morning. The lobby is very impressive, all marble. Seemed to have wifi and there is a small Starbucks type place for a morning treat.

The room was large but seemed to be missing some furniture. There was a large empty spot with a floor lamp in it. Either an easy chair or a table belonged there. There was one nice easy chair present.

The bedside lamp was out. We called to get it fixed but cancelled that after 1/2 hour because we wanted to get to bed. Just pulled the floor lamp over to the chair to read a while. No makeup mirror in the bathroom, something one expects in a four star hotel.

Overall it was fine but I would call it 3-3.5*. Priceline category is 4*. Did get it for a decent rate through them.

More than adequate for what most travelers need. I have stayed at this property on a few occasions and its only gotten better with time.

During the summer, it can quite hectic with cruise passengers coming and going, but its quite pleasant at other times.

As a Starwood elite, I was allotted a room in the newer tower. If you have a choice, definitely go for the newer tower. The rooms aren't quite as large as in the traditional tower, but they are super sleek and I like the modern look. One thing to consider if you are a Starwood Platinum - the [terrific] club lounge is in the traditional tower. This means that if you get a room in the new tower and want to head to the lounge, you will need to go down to the lobby and walk across to the elevators for the traditional tower. Its no big deal, but just something to keep in mind.

Parking, as others have stated, is horribly over-priced. There are plenty of nearby restaurants and entertainment which should satisfy most. If not, the public transit system in Seattle is more than adequate.

Seattle folks are really generally nice. I was expecting no less from the hotel people and they didn't disappoint!
Gorgeous lobby. Wide and open with a scattering of chairs and comfortable couches here and there.
Very attentive front desk lady at the Elite section registration. Upgraded me to an executive suite on the 33 Floor suite with a view facing the water. Mind you there were only 34 floors .The gym/pool is on the 34th floor.
The room had a big comfortable king sized bed. Nice soft sheets. Internet was free although no wi-fi was available at all in the old tower. I supposed the new tower has it? Too bad my Mac Air lap top only accommodates wi-fi :(
Robes were provided. Bathroom's nice and big. Loved the excess lighting in this suite. I love lights and here I am in light heaven. When I got in I noticed that and from that first day on all LIGHTS were ON when Im around.
I noticed a cassette player below the flat screen TV. WTH? Who uses a cassette player? Remnants of the slow analog days?
They also provide not one but free two bottled water every day! Little things go a long ways to make me smile. Not that Seattle tap water is bad. It's great compare to the POS tap water that I have in San Jose.
They also offer free continental breakfast for the people staying in the executive suites and I'm impressed. The fruits offered were amazing.
The GYM:
Amazing. It was like a Bally's or a 24hr Fitness. Pretty much any machine that you want to use is there. While you are running on the treadmill you will be looking at an amazing view of Seattle. There is a second floor in the gym for stretching and small weights basically.
Lastly-the doorman was amazingly fast. He was the first good impression of the hotel. As soon as the taxi stopped he was there to open the door, greet with a smile, grabbed my bag and pointed me to the right direction.
I will definitely go back for a more pleasant stay. Btw-walking distance to the shopping district and to Pike Place Market. A big +++

After staying 8 nights in a row at this Sheraton for a work event, I feel quite comfortable in my review of this hotel (I should add that I stayed here 3 other times throughout the past 12 months too!).

This Sheraton has two towers (how, LOTR, I know.....). Although the older tower has slightly larger rooms, I prefer the newly remodeled tower that has sleeker and more modern rooms.

The service is ok but the lobby is fantastic. Free WiFi and usage of their PCs, comfy couches, and these VERY cool surface table computers that are touch screen (made by MicroSoft and featured in a handful of Sheraton Hotels). I also really appreciate their up front commitment to sustainability and being-green with an incentive program to reduce water, etc.

Conveniently located in downtown Seattle, it was really easy to jump across to the Washington Trade Convention Center for my work events.

The Daily Grill is located inside the hotel and has decent Happy Hour deals. And yes, I spent many hours reconnecting with colleagues in their lobby bar. :)

On a side note, I accidentally left one of my diamond stud earrings on the counter in my room. I didn't' realize it until I was at the airport. However, when I called, they sent housekeeping upstairs to check if it was there. Yay for honest people because they found my earring that my mother had given me. BUMMER because they were going to charge the shipping of the earring to me. When I've left items in hotels before, they've always shipped them to me free of charge. Eh, but what matters most is that I'll get my earring back :)

Over all, very pleasant hotel and staff!

The Sheraton! Even the name sounds expensive. When I travel there is no way on God's green earth I'd be able to afford this place. Thankfully I didn't have to spend a dime to experience what the hotel offered in terms of conference rooms and a lobby.

I now work at a hair salon and my bosses paid for some co-workers and I to attend Performance Aveda classes to hit us with some Aveda knowledge. For two days we would be sitting in a conference room learning about products which I can't afford but apparently are fantastic.

My co-workers and I find the Sheraton and wonder if we had any favorable options on parking. No such luck. We had to park at the Sheraton parking lot and on our way into the lobby we saw the prices. 5+ hours was going to put a dent in our pockets. $33+ big ones! Ouch. Oh well.

We walk into the lobby and its spacious with a gorgeous rock floor and comfy seats. We were unsure as to what room our classes would be held in so we asked the front desk. The gentlemen looked at us as if we just asked them a question in a foreign language. Thankfully after some more explaining and showing them our registration sheets, they found out where we were supposed to go.

Up to the third floor we went. After passing room after room full of chairs and people who were attending a cedar wood home seminar we were wondering if we had been misdirected. The floor was massive and it felt like the closed rooms were endless. A woman found us wondering, asked us if we were here for Aveda, and directed us to the correct room on the complete opposite side of the floor. Thanks.

We make our way to the room which was small but could work for an intimiate class size. It had a pleasant smell and the walls looked velvet.

We are released for an hour lunch and we walk through the lobby. Leather chairs and couches decorate the seating area. I noticed a sign that says "Free wi-fi". Sweet. And then I noticed the most awesome thing ever: the tables were touch screen computers. My mind is blown! To my advantage the classes are two days so when I get back to the Sheraton I will be poking that screen until I have to be escorted out of the building.

The Sheraton is lovely and I'm glad I was able to visit it even though I couldn't become a full fledged guest. Its purty in there! I'll keep my hopes up that I'll be able to stay overnight when I get rich or can date someone rich enough to pay for it.

It's a very average hotel, nothing special. Service was not amazing, but not extremely terrible either. Some of the staff were not too friendly, something I did not expect from what is supposed to be a 4-star hotel. This hotel has great location in Downtown. Also, they have complimentary Wi-Fi for 45 minutes at a time in the lobby. However, after spending the first night there, I checked out and went to the Pan Pacific Seattle instead. It's not that Sheraton was bad, it's just that it wasn't great. Why travel all the way to Seattle for an only average time? The Pan Pacific on the other hand, was amazing!! Check out reviews for that!

So we stayed at the Westin for a couple of nights before movie down the street to the Sheraton. I gotta say, it was quite an upgrade. The rooms were more updated and although both hotels are part of the Starwood chain, all the little things like minibar, foods, and Internet were much cheaper or could even be had for free. There are even vending machines for water.

The downstairs lobby is pretty spacious and has TVs, the wacky Microsoft TV Tables, a free Internet area, and snack shop. The place isn't opulent, but it is solid. It's 25% cheaper than the Westin and just a better overall choice.

The drawbacks would be that cruise ships seem to send their massive hoards of guests here so the lines at check-in could be a bummer. Also, $33/night for parking seems a bit high considering it was half that much at the Westin.

I grew up always staying at Motel 6 so staying at the Sheraton is very ooh la la for me. We got rooms here on Priceline for only $135 a night.

I asked for a room with a view of the water. Apparently there aren't any rooms with water views, so they gave me a room in one of the corners of the building. It was perfectly fine in size, but later I noticed on the floorplan that we had one of the smallest rooms on the floor. Also, our room had a weird smell the first night as though a smoker had used it last.

The lounge downstairs looked really nice and appealing to sit and play a board game or something (I always have board games on the brain). The lobby was super nice in the style of fancy modern. The three computers there were always taken so we went to the computer lounge on the second floor.

Unfortunately the rooftop pool they're famous for was closed for repairs. Super bummer. I also never saw the famous art glass sculptures in the Sheraton that my guide book raved about.

The pillows were TERRIBLE. Seriously, terrible. I have to drop a star just because of the pillows.

The drop-off area in front is insane around noon because of all the people coming and going. There needs to be more coordination and more signs up so people know where to go (to say, catch a taxi).

The location was superb, only five blocks from Pike Place Market. Across the street was GameWorks, an arcade for adults (no, not XXX) with a cafe serving dessert that's open late. In addition there was a whole little indoor mall with nice stores.

So I moved in for 10 days while I had meetings about town. I got what I paid for. Nothing extravagant-just a nice, clean room with a kickin location. Room service could be better. Seemed like everything from the Daily Grill was dipped in grease. The lobby was nice. Free wi-fi, cool gathering area and these cool surface tables that give you local info and hotspots. The staff was just like the typical Seattle Freeze-pleasant enough to your face, but no warmth to be had. And that is fine. The gym was superb. I wish every hotel had one like this. Definitely request a room in the newer tower. I had a friend in the older one and there is a considerable difference. Great shopping in the area too!

3.5 stars actually.  There are several things about the hotel that didn't exactly please me:  parking was $38 per day, $9.95 daily internet charge (who still charges for internet?  seriously?), and an overly aggressive cleaning staff/maintenance staff.  I had a cleaning person knock on my door and give me a hard time about needing to come in and clean it.  I couldn't find a do not disturb sign to hang on the door and was frustrated that I was being disturbed while I was trying to get some work done.  I was also frustrated that a maintenance person randomly knocked on my door and needed to come in to 'check things'....that was actually a bit scary and frustrating.

But, I was given an incredibly good daily rate due to a discount for a conference I was attending, the room was spotless and comfortable, and they were able to work out a deal with me when I needed to leave a day early.  I would probably stay there again but it would really depend  on the rate to be honest.  For the rate that I paid it was four stars but I would reconsider if it was much more than that.

Oh, and it is probably the best location if you need easy access to the Convention Center.  Great location in downtown, walking distance to Pike Place Market and lots of shopping.  Not much to do at night though, I had a hard time finding a restaurant that was open late!

I was really happy with my three night stay at the Sheraton. The location was great (it is right smack in the middle of downtown and only a fwe blocks from some of the city's main attractions, including Pike's Public Market and a lot of shops and restaurants.

The room was reasonably priced, in my opinion, considering the bedding was better quality than at most hotels, the room was spacious and the toiletries provided were Bliss products.

The movies they offer as pay-per-view are mostly movies that have not yet been released to DVD, which I thought was pretty cool (however, it didn't work even after we called the lobby for help ordering the movie) and the service was good and the staff was very nice.

I also realy liked the hotel because the decor was pretty modern and they had some cool artwork on the walls. I would definitely stay here again.

What a deal we found on good ol' Priceline!  All the hotels in Downtown, central Seattle were $200+ so I made a bid for $100 on Priceline and got the Sheraton!  Not only was this hotel in the perfect location, it gave off that high end luxury feeling AND it was cheap.

The lady at the front desk was really accomodating during check-in and she even checked on upgrades for us without us requesting it.  Too bad there weren't any cuz the hotel was booked to the max when we came, but it was a kind gesture nonetheless.

The room itself was clean and suited our needs perfectly.  The bed was very comfortable, but I expected nothing less from a Sheraton.  They use Bliss products (shampoo, conditioner) and have a blowdryer in the bathroom for your convenience.

Some things you should know:
- Do NOT touch the mini bar items.
- Internet usage is $9.99 per day, but they have a business center in the lobby so you can always use the internet there for free.
-  Their gym & pool are closed for renovation till October 2008.

Lord knows I try but I don't think I'll ever hit the average level of polish  and swankiness you see in this lobby.  It's 10 PM and you're in a bar in the Northwest - take off your TIE for chrissake!

So yeah, I'm the shabby Priceliner who somehow got into this hotel on the cheap.  Never mind that it's a business trip, I do love a bargain.  Truth be told I'd pay a lot more for this place if I had to.  The lobby, with it's screamin' free wi-fi is spacious, stylin, and filled with comfortable places to jam on the laptop or have coffee with your homes.  As a bonus, the walls are adorned with several pieces of really nice art.

I checked in early - knowing how some places view us Priceline scum - and got top drawer treatment, placed in a really nice room in the Union street tower.  The 'oversized doubles' didn't look all that big to me and Ms A. was due to join me in a couple days so I asked for an upgrade to deluxe for $20 and got the big-ass king bed.  Yeah baby.

One thing always puzzles me with four-star hotels: why after all they charge can't they just throw in the in-room internet and bottled water?  Why is a 75-cent bag of BBQ chips $4?  Do the wealthy really dig being nickel-and-dimed like that?  You get more practical perks for your money at a Hampton, but whatever.

For the biz traveler this place has the right stuff in other places: a fast one-cup coffeemaker, a nice desk, a quality iron and board for getting that dress shirt pressed.

The workout facility is located on top of the other tower, in the same space as the pool and spa, so the air in there features tropical heat and humidity and reeks of chlorine.  But they do have free weights, plus treadmills and elipticals on the 35th floor, for a run with a view.  Just come dressed for a Bikram session.

The staff were unswervingly helpful, friendly and professional and the little Daily Grill takeout place had quite a lot of good stuff for prices lower than you'd expect in a schmancy hotel lobby and really good lattes.  Well, it is Seattle.   I hope the next time I throw down a priceline bid I end up at the Sheraton again.

On a short weekend get-away to Seattle I was on a quandary as to where would be the best spot to stay. I wanted the hotel to be convenient, affordable, and clean; not too much to ask for in a hotel situated in the heart of Downtown Seattle. The good people at Sheraton did their homework!

Deals:
If you go onto the Sheraton website they have a bunch of deals going on. Luckily on the weekend I went they had a deal for stay 3 nights get one free!

Location:
You are a short 5 block walk to Pike Place. If you want to do some retail therapy there are PLENTY of shops across the street. Hungry? You have your vast choices of resturants and cafes in the surrounding area. Going to the Space Needle? You're a hop skip and jump away from the monorail! So literally everything is in walking distance. Me and miss even walked to Pioneer Square.

Room:
First impression was that the room was nice. We had the King sized bed and a large window looking toward downtown! The flat screen LCD added a nice touch to the room! The Bed was comfy but I wish the pillows were the same. I'd recommend you call house-keeping and tell them to bring 2-3 extra pillows because they were as flat as a 12 year old girl.

Bathroom:
Usually this is the Deal Breaker for me. Just like Goldilocks the bathroom wasn't too big, it wasn't too small, it was just right. During my stay they were offering Bliss* shampoo, condition, soap, and lotion products. They didn't even skim out on the Blow Dryer which is a plus for the ladies. The towels were a bit rough but it did it's job.

The lobby could get a bit hectic during check out on Sundays so I say do yourself a favor and check-out in the comfort of your room with express check out offered on the T.V. My other disappointment would be that the hotel doesn't offer a free shuttle to the airport. They do offer a outside company shuttle for $11/per person and taxi service $30 to the airport.

So when planning your next trip to Seattle remember Sheraton. You'll kick yourself..kick yourself really hard...in the face...if you picked another hotel.

I spent six nights at the Seattle Sheraton, courtesy of King County's generous fund raising.  I ate breakfast at Daily Grill most mornings.  I spent most afternoons exploring the area's boutiques, restaurants and shopping centers.  One night I had cocktails at the hotel bar.

The bed I hoped would serve as my warm respite from cold, cruel Seattle proved too warm.  I woke up sweating every morning despite the fan.  There were too many pillows and layers on my bed for comfort.  I don't recommend getting too comfortable here at the Seattle Sheraton.

I had a great experience during my six night stay.  I would gladly book rooms at this hotel (and pay for them!).  The staff seemed friendly and helpful.  The Daily Grill offers great food choices for every meal, even room service.  This hotel will be outstanding once they complete the renovations.

Got a great deal of hotwire.. Great location.. But i was disappointed wid the front desk dude.. Don't get me wrong.. I'm not into peeps falling overthemselves to please, but if ur in the hospitality field, ya gotta have a certain vibe and a certain proactive attitude.

I got to the hotel close to midnight, and all me+wifey wanted was a comfy bed.. I was so tired when i got in and i didn't realize that front desk didn't even ask what kind of bed arrangements.. Why would u give a married couple two full size beds..

At this point.. I was too tired to pick up my bags from the room, call down, bitch, and move to another room.. I would come back if i get a front desk upgrade..

For a Sheraton, its pretty good up there.  The beds are comfy, and the decor isnt too outdated.  The staff is helpful with everything.  Especially their Hotel Cafe downstairs.

*We just arrived, checked in, and wanted to grab a bite to eat for lunch.

Me:  Hi, what kinda beer do you have?

Waitress:   Yada Yada Yada Yada.....

Me;  Hmmm....how bout a coors light?

Waitress:  Sure no prob.... Just curious, you guys are from outta town right?

Me:  Yeah....came in for the Vancouver Grand Prix... How could you tell?

Waitress:  Well...to be honest..... Nobody here in seattle orders Coors Light.  You either drink something from the TAP or Hefewizen....

MORAL:  Avoid ordering commercial beer, or you'll end up looking like a jackass outta towner.....

The hotel is conveniently situated 5 blocks from Pike Place Market, The Westlake Shopping Center, Convention Center and many restaurants. Sheraton is also one of the stops of the Grayline Bus, making going to and from Tacoma airport very easy and convenient.

We stayed at a Deluxe Corner King Room on Union Street. The room(approximately 400 SQ FT) was nicely decorated, with a flat screen T.V., a plush bed, very comparable to the Westin Heavenly Bed, and 5 bags of complimentary Starbucks coffee(being the home town of Starbucks)! : ) Bathroom is a bit tight, with a single granite counter top vanity and marble floor.

There's free Internet access in the lobby, also the Microsoft Surface Table in the lobby , which allows guests to have a clear view of locations & destinations in the city, which was a nice touch.

The Staffs were friendly and courteous, it's one of the better Sheratons I have stayed at, and will definitely stay here again!

I agree with Carlo M. The Sheraton Seattle has a shiny veneer (great location, beautiful lobby, lots of valet attendants) but the service is really below standard. During the check-in process the front-desk lady moved with ruthless efficiency, hurrying us through the process. Her script was mechanical and I don't think she even made eye contact with us. Checking out was a similar experience (different person). The bell desk was fine, but again had the same "we're really inconvenienced by your presence" attitude. The concierge was only slightly more friendly. Her answer to "where is a good place to get breakfast around here" was "just start walking toward the Market and you'll find something".

The room had a good view (21st floor) and was clean. It was on the small side and had not been updated recently - the old-school thermostat is always a good indicator. It was quiet and the shower was hot.

We also stopped by the lounge on our way up to the room. $12.50 buys you a Vodka Cran, a Sprite, and the comfort of being ignored by the waitstaff for the duration of your stay.

The Sheraton pays a lot of people to stand on the lobby floor. They all look eager to help, but when they do you feel like you were a pain in their rear.

This hotel is absolutely gorgeous.  The service was cheerful and accomodating.  They have a spacious lounge, awesome bar and the view from our 25th-floor room was amazing.

I docked one star for charging $9.95 a day for wi-fi in your room.  LAME.  For the price you pay to stay there, is it really too much to just throw in some internet access?  I was also disappointed that their fitness center/pool was under construction.  But that's just bad planning on my part.

This Sheraton is ridiculously convenient for walking to a ton of great restaurants, Pike's Place Market and shopping.  Cheers all 'round.

Usually I wouldn't shell out the bucks to stay at a place like this, but we got an AMAZING deal on hotwire.
Two friends and I shared a room with two queen size beds. VERY comfortable! Pillow top mattresses, perfect blankets (not to heavy, not too thin) and the best hotel pillows I've ever experienced (fluffy, but not too fluffy, your head just sinks right in and wants to go sleepy).  I was sleeping in a room with two hardcore snorers, and still got a good night sleep. The shower had great water pressure (something I always notice in hotels, usually it's a piddly little stream) and the room came with Starbucks coffee (I must have it since my son works at a Starbucks).  We got a $5 gift card to the restaurant for refusing maid service (I'm sorry but I really don't need new sheets or towels every single day, totally not necessary).
The concierge was VERY helpful. She even drew us a map (again, not used to staying in a hotel this nice!). We were within walking distance of Pike Place, and one block from the monorail to Seattle Center.
We got a little extra entertainment as the BALLROOM DANCING convention was going on when we were staying there, at first we weren't sure if it was a hooker convention cuz there was a lot of over-application of makeup going on with these girls, but we saw some FABULOUS sequiny outfits!
I thought the $38 a day for valet service was little high, but then again it is a major city and I think that price is probably about average.
If I can score this kind of deal on hotwire again, I would stay here for SURE.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel while recently in town for a conference. The room I got was on the 20th floor, in the corner, so I had two HUGE windows looking out at the city below. I was also able to see the bay which was a real treat.
Here's what rocked:
The room was huge and the bed was super comfy
Great shower, with great water pressure and lovely lighting
Quick elevator (even when up high) and very clean common areas
And... even though I couldn't get a late check out, the bell staff were awesome, held my bags with a smile and helped me to get to the super cool airport bus ( a mere $11) and made it so easy to leave.

Here's what could have used just a touch of improvement:
The gym, as mentioned was pretty sparse, but it was great to have it there and I'm sure that it will be awesome once it's redone.
The room service staff was very helpful, but the food was certainly not worth the money, and if I hadn't gotten VERY hungry I would have gone elsewhere and just ordered to go.

If you're in Seattle, and want the downtown feel and flavor this is the spot!

Fantastic location close to the Convention Center and downtown shops and a comfy bed (though I agree with others who say that the pillows are not fantastic) on the 29th floor of the Pike Street tower, with sunny but unspectacular views.  There was an office building directly across from my window so I had to close the curtains sometimes, which was disappointing - I usually prefer to let the sun shine in.

The bathroom was a little cramped but I loved the spacious closet.

My HUGE complaint is the same as that of another Yelper.   I wasn't leaving until noon, the posted checkout time, but the agressive housekeeping staff knocked on my door literally every 15 minutes from about 9:30 to 11:45.  It was EXTREMLY obnoxious and intrusive.  Furthermore, the housekeeping staff let the other doors in the hallway slam repeatedly from about 8:30am onward.  I've never experienced this in any other hotel I've stayed in.  How bizarre and disappointing.

Oh, just remembered another small gripe - I had two reservations back-to-back, so I called down to the front desk, and a very kind and helpful man assured me that I wouldn't have to check out and back in before my second reservation.  To my surprise, the hotel manager came to my room on the second day asking when I was going to leave as it was after check-out time.  Also, my room key had to be reset.  I guess they didn't see the note that the original staff member wrote in the computer that first day.

Perhaps when the top-floor gym and pool reopens I will consider staying here again, but in general I don't think it is worth it.  Other area hotels are still within walking distance of the Convention Center and shops.

Another mid week get away took us to the Sheraton in Seattle.

Nice nice rooms with very comfortable beds. We were almost at the top of this hotel which unnerved me as I am not good with heights but the view was great. Smiling helpful folks abound here too and the location is great for what one does when visiting Seattle. You can walk most anywhere with ease. We had a very pleasant stay and will be back for more.

Great location in the downtown area.  Walking distance to many shops (Nordstrom's flagship store, Macy's, Westlake  Center, Pacific Place, Bananas Republic, Old Navy, Gap, Ann Taylor and many more just to name a few) restaurants (Morton's, Cheesecake Factory) and Pike's Market.
The room is very spacious and clean.  There is a coffeemaker in the room with Starbucks coffee packs.

Check it out!  I stayed in a different tower, 12 floors up from last time, and the same long black hairs were in my "clean" bath tub.  How on earth did they do that?  AMAZING!

Clean hotel, clean rooms and a great lobby. Nothing too exciting, just a great place to get some work done. It's basically a free internet cafe that smells good, has nicer art and the people are more attractive (is that mean)?

I've stayed here a couple of times.

The first was during their major construction.  Major as in adding another tower.  While checking in the second time around, the boy and I mentioned to the front desk clerk how we stayed there during their construction.  He was pleasantly surprised that we returned even though they weren't looking too cute at the time, and we were upgraded to the new tower.  Our gigantic room had an awesome view of the city and Puget Sound.  In addition, we had a plasma t.v., complimentary Starbucks coffee, the most amazing bed, and a huge bathroom (but this bathroom didn't have any Dale Chihuly artwork)

The location isn't bad either.  It's in the heart of downtown, within walking distance of the library, Pike, bars, and restaurants.   If the weather will allow, walking to Capitol Hill or Belltown doesn't seem so bad.

Parking is $40 a day?!  Ouch!  Might as well been butt-raped by a large inmate.

a great hotel location with friendly staff and many attractions nearby. tucked away right on Seattle's bustling shopping districts (small, but good), there's a lot of things to do in and around this hotel.

the views of Seattle in the room is decent. then the beds and showers are great features... but the pillows and towels DO suck. for Seattle- it's a pretty good hotel. for out of towners... eh. no shuttles... only taxi service. lame. thank goodness i always have friends to give me rides in Seattle. =)

I've stayed here three different trips to Seattle.  It can be hit-and-miss, but it's generally good.  The rooms are nice.  The beds are nice.  The gym is nice (35th floor with views) and it's free.  Internet is $10 a day.

Sometimes odd things happen though.  There was major construction the last time I stayed there, so we had to valet the car ($30 a day as opposed to $20 for self-park the previous time), and the elevators didn't come all the way down to the main floor, so you had to take an escalator with your bags.  They also didn't really have a functioning front door, which was odd.  The previous time I stayed there, everything was in working order, but a couple of staff members were really rude to us.

Great room. Cheap price for a weekend. It was right in the middle of downtown.

The room was clean and had everything we needed in it. Large room and a flat screen TV. The entire place was clean and the staff was pretty helpful although I didn't require a ton of interaction with them.

I would definitely consider staying here again. I'm surprised they had a room open with as much notice as we gave them (a couple of hours at best).

A lovely hotel with nice rooms, comfortable beds, great views. It's within walking distance to great shopping, Pike Place Market and the convention center. I stayed here 4 nights on vacation and really enjoyed myself.

The renovation is over, and the lobby is very large and pretty. There are two towers, with the Union Tower being the more recently built one. I stayed in that one ... nice modern furniture, flat panel TVs, Starbucks Coffee in the room.  Really well appointed bathroom with nice shampoo, etc.

The only downside to the area is the parking. While we found a lot that was super cheap for a couple of the nights, everything seemed to be $30/night and more.

I got a great deal on hotwire, and I'd stay here again.

Very nice place to stay.  We arrived on a Friday, left on the following Monday.  The hotel itself was very nice.  Very clean, rooms, decent pool with excellent views of the city from the pool, great internet access in the lobby with computers that you can use right there.  Very nice hotel restaurant, bar and lounge in the hotel.  My buddy and I hung out in the lounge on Sunday night, moved a couple of high back leather chairs right in front of a plasma TV and watch a football game with a waitress bringing us beers whenever needed along with appetizers, can't beat that.

The location of the hotel is great as well.  We pretty much walked to everything we needed/wanted to do.  We walked to the Seahawk game, walked up the hill to Capitol Hill, walked down to Pikes Place and Belltown, just a great location.

The only downer was parking, the self parking is a block and a half away and the valet was pretty expensive.  That was enough to loose a star but other than that, great hotel to call home for as long as you need.
