Just outstanding.  It looks like a nicely remodeled hotel, in the direction of a W Hotel, but a little more humble and comfortable.  Here's the kicker folks: this place is about $70-90.  Unbelievable rates.

There is plenty of wood everywhere (walls, floors, decor, bathrooms), the 580 freeway noises are contained for the most part, the design is modern and parking is free.

Outstanding hotel with a great wood-filled lobby, nice rooms and great service.  If you are visiting Dublin/Pleasanton/Livermore, this is a GREAT hotel to stay at.

Stayed here for several months due to a work assignment.  During that time i got to know the good and bad of the Pleasanton Sheraton.

The Good:
- good rates (the company likes that)
- Club Lounge on the top floor has light breakfast and apps at night for SPG members with status
- hotel is being renovated - most rooms have been re-done and are very modern
- if you're staying in pleasanton, you're probably doing some sort of business - the hotel is close to most of the office parks

The Bad
- it is on a highway - you can hear it if you're on that side of the hotel (but you get used to it)
- Not really 'bad', but compared to the Hilton near here, the fitness center is just a workout room - which is nothing compared to the helth club attached to the hilton

Decent place, price is great. But you are by the highway and can hear that all night. The rooms are clean and nice. Decent place and good location to the mall.

This review is 2 fold-the first is with the rate for booking blocks of rooms, the second part is for our wedding night here:

This hotel was the preferred hotel of our wedding venue. We were given the name of the person we were to contact in order to book a block of rooms for our out of town wedding guests. She was incredibly friendly and I am sure she had limited options as to what she could offer us, but needless to say, I went with another hotel that offered not only a better rate, but had more amenities for no charge.

Part Two:

Our wedding venue put us up in the suite the night of our wedding. We arrived at the hotel around 10pm-to a virtually empty parking lot and no one in the lobby(this alone made me wonder why we were quoted such a high rate for the block of rooms). We checked in and were greeted with big smiles and congratulations.

We went upstairs to our suite. It was big, but nothing too fancy. There was only one robe hanging in the closet-should have been two and the bathroom was just average. For a "suite", it meant top floor and a larger room with a sitting area. After the 20+ minutes it took Kevin to help get me out of my wedding dress (nothing dirty here-just lots of pins and hooks to deal with), I put on the robe just in time for a knock on the door. The hotel sent up a bottle of champagne and two glasses for us. Nice touch. Kevin doesn't drink so we brought the bottle home the next day. The bed was comfortable and even though we were exhausted we spent the next few hours debriefing, etc. Sadly, I awoke at around 6:30am, so I woke up my new groom and inquired about room service.

Room service is my favorite part of staying in any hotel, so it was the biggest part I was looking forward to staying here. We ordered a continental breakfast (daily pastry, juice, coffee and fruit) and an omelet to share that came with potatoes/toast and a glass of juice. When the food arrived, there was no coffee, no toast and pastries from what could have been a vending machine. They were totally Midwest corporate catering type pastries and not edible. Living in the Bay Area, we are surrounded by incredible chefs, bakeries, etc. This was simply ass. The delivery person apologized about the lack of coffee and toast and came back 10 minutes later. The omelet was overcooked and the fillings tasted like what had been left over from the breakfast buffet from the day before. Simply disappointing and sadly was the tone for the hotel itself and I am glad I went with my instincts and secured another hotel for my guests.

UPDATE:
I haven't gone back yet, however I did get a yelp mail from the Manager apolgizing for the slow service with my food. She told me next time I decide to go back to speak to her personally. That was a nice touch. I like the fact their management actually reads these ratings and that they care enough to contact me. I appreciate it. Thank you.

Excellent!
I am pretty particular with my hotels.  I had to stay here 4 times for a review course I was taking nearby.  I choose this hotel for the location and price.

Price was phenomenol through http://hotels.com
Location superb..next to Stoneridge mall...and located centrally around great restaurants.

It was peaceful and quiet for my studying time after my review course.
Pool was open late...plus plus plus! and Towels at the pool!!!! :-)

Staff was extremely friendly and very professional.

Hotel was clean.  Felt very secure.

My room was excellent.  I am particular about my linens.  I love Sheraton hotels.  They are not stingy with pillows or linens.  Gotta love them!!

We enjoyed their full breakfast in the restaurant.  The buffet was pricey at over $15 per person... definately lots of food though.  All food was fresh and delicious and freshly prepared.  Loved the omlettes.  Coffee was delicious and they even put extra coffee in a cup for me to take to my class!!!

All the staff was attentive.  I look forward to finding an excuse to stay here again....even though my course is over. :-(

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights a week for 2 years because of a consulting assignment. Very freindly staff. They want to help. The bar gets an extra star because they have Anchor Steam beer. It's across the street from The Stoneridge Mall so there are diversions available. One thing, work the rate issue. If they're not booked or if you're a frequent guest, deals can be had. I travel a lot. I found this place to be a good value.
