I am so glad to read the review that said this hotel was next to a 'Tech' center because I was personally affronted that a hotel could name itself 'Denver Tech' and not have wi-fi in the rooms.  Ethernet plug-in in the rooms for $9.95 is ricockulous!

We stayed on the 'club' floors of 9 and 10.  Our room was on 9 and for some $20 we had access to 10 which had a continental breakfast in the morning and happy hour in the afternoon.  The Mrs. really appreciated being able to have that glass of chardonnay in the evening after a long day of conferences but I was pouty about the complete lack of anything vegetarian OR chocolate for me.

On our last night there I did get to appreciate the posh-ness of our floor when I went to the second floor to do laundry.  That floor looked desolate and a little scary.  The one day I went to the pool area it was closed (chlorine levels were low) and while the hottub was 'open' it was 'broken' having no jets and being only just lukewarm. I tell you that was a deeply unsatisfying experience.

Room service was off the chain though.  It's expensive as all room service is but it was so delicious I could hardly stand it.  I gulped down my pasta so fast I had no room for the spinach salad but a few hours later when I'd made room for it I was *so* glad to have ordered it. YUM!

I found it very convenient to just hop on the I-25 and head into downtown Denver and was grateful for the nearby Target for any last minute necessities.  The night time view from ninth floor was gorgeous and I *will* own one of those beds some day but really I was thinking 'hrm, this place seems to want to be higher end but is falling short somehow'.  I wasn't horribly displeased with our stay there but just felt that things *could* have been better.

This Sheraton is located in Englewood which is fairly close to Denver and about 20 minutes from the Denver Airport. The location is not that convenient if you do not have a car, but if you have a car, it's totally fine.

Club Level , Floor 9 Room: The room is not that big. There's a flat screen Philips tv (approx 36-42"). There was also two single person couches with leg rest, a work table with light stand, and a robe available for me. One downside is the bathroom. It's a bit small and there was something wrong with my toilet the entire time. It doesn't seem to flush well and the tub didn't seem to drain or hold water well. The bathroom includes multiple amenities including the usual Bliss collection items you would see at Sheraton Grands and many Sheratons. There's also shaving creme and a small vanity kit (q tips, cotton balls, nail filer). the blow driver was pretty decent. I did not like the bathroom door since i had to close it in order to fully see the tub. the materials used in the sheraton makes the bathroom feel a bit old and the shower head was a bit weak. room was fairly clean and the guest service was fairly nice though they did not personalize my stay in any way or addressed me by my name at check in.

Club Lounge: The 10th floor club lounge has a lot of chairs, but i swear i did not see a single person in it the entire weekend. There is 1 computer and a very VERY old color printer (inkjet) for guest users. They also have a baby crib up there and a table with newspapers and local guide/travel tourist stuff.

Starwood Preferred members: They have some spots reserved for preferred gold and platinum members. They also upgraded me to the club lounge free of charge as a preferred member and I got free breakfast at the club lounge. On M-th, they do hors/happy hour at the club lounge free of charge.

Breakfast (club lounge): I was a bit dissapointed with the breakfast because they did not serve any hot food. Furthermore, the bagel was VERY VERY dry, old, and hard. I don';t think it was that fresh. The staff told me that because the economy is bad, the hotel has had to cut back on the breakfast selection. They had cereal, some fruit, and some hard bagel/muffins. They also had the usual selection of juice.

General Amenities: They have a business center with two printers that did not work while I was there. I disliked that the computer downstairs was running a super old version of microsoft word (pre 2003) and the one at the club lounge is microsoft 2003. i couldnt print anything at the business center. also, right across the business center is the fitness center. I haven't used it but it looks like a decent center. There's also free newspaper in the lobby (USA News), a lounge area where wireless is available free of charge (not sure if this was preferred member bonus or not). All internet in the rooms are charged irregardless of status at 9.95 per 24 hour period.

Parking: Free parking, ample and tons.

Neighborhood: pretty safe area with some fast food and "big box" restaurants like ihop and maggianos. it is very close to the freeway, but it is slightly hidden from the freeway since you have to dry down this road past the target. it is a pretty quiet area.

Pricing: I would have to give the price here a 5 star. I paid 55 the first night and the second night got a 50% off. With the 10-12% tax, it was around 115 for the two nights which is super cheap for a Sheraton and it was even more awesome that I got an upgrade. However, I do think that this Sheraton isn't as aesthetically pretty, has less available with the except of the club lounge, and the rooms aren't that nice compared to many Sheratons I've stayed at, but def. very good value and good place to stay for the price i paid!

One star deducted for a too tiny bathroom.  Otherwise this is a perfect hotel, especially for a business traveler.

I was in Denver last week for meetings in the tech center.  The Sheraton is in a good location close to the freeway and there is a nice little restaurant and a bar in the hotel.

Beds are comfortable, rooms are clean. There's a nice little fitness room.

For business, a great hotel right off the freeway, everything you would expect from a Sheraton (mmm...sweet sleeper bed) and you guessed it...close to the tech center.  As far as night life goes...you are in the tech center...and that is about as much fun as it sounds...
