I came here with a friend visiting from out of the town.  Since I have been living in this city for long enough, I've gone here a couple of times for some banquets but this is first time visiting the hotel portion so the review below is limited to the hotel only.

Sheraton Cerritos is the only hotel property in the City of Cerritos.  It is situated nearby Cerritos Library, Cerritos Towne Center, Cerritos Civic Center and some office buildings.  It is in a very convinent section of Cerritos and it is easy to hop on one of the city bus (COW) to go to different parts of the city.

The Hallway is very bright and clean.  There are water fountains adjacent to the checkin lobby (also where Sheraton link) located at.  It is very soothing especially if you want to just relax in the lounge/lobby area. It is very nice for sheraton standard.  The checkin agents are very friendly and efficient.  There was some error with my bill when I checked out but it was fixed immediately.  Thats the way customer service is suppose to be!

The room I got was the junior suite (which is located in the center portion of the hotel).  Which is a bigger room with a living room/pull out sofa and the view of Cerritos Performing Arts Center. Very quiet at night and the room itself has Ample space.  Its equipped with 50" LG LCD TV with REAL HD programming!  Lots channels to choose from, and the room has plenty windows too and the window u can actually open a bit to let the fresh air in.  Not common for most hotels but this is a good thing if you don't like AC too much.  The room itself equipped with a Fax Machine and starbucks coffee, also a very nice touch.  Bathroom is the standard sheraton bath and the Bed they have upgraded to the latest Sheraton Sweet Sleeper bed (also the duvet cover is now pure white just like the Westin hotels).  Very nice!

I have tried the Grille 91 for breakfast, it is 14.95/pp for the buffet style breakfast.  The section is limited but it has everything you needed for breakfast (Cook to order omelette!)

The gym and pool is located in the lobby level.  It is very clean and quiet so you can spend some quiet time having a sunbath here without hearing kids screaming next to you!

Also, plenty FREE parking spaces around!! way to go!!  It is right across street from Walmart, Edwards Cinema and TGI Fridays, Best buys, Trader joes so you will never be bored in the surrounding area!

Overall, this is a great property, it sets a standard for the sheraton properties and I will def. return and recommend this place to friends who wants to visit this area.

This is the only hotel in Cerritos (until the Marriott Residence Inn opens next year) I've actually gone here a couple of times for receptions and expos. My family ended up buying some condos that were being advertised here in one of the banquet halls, and other times, we've had dinners due to civic awards held by the city of Cerritos.

The banquet halls are named after some of the neighboring cities near Cerritos, like the Artesia Room, Cypress Room and the La Palma Room. I just realized that these three cities were all part of the 'dairy cities' back in the mid-20th century and broke off to their own separate cities, two of which went to Orange County and the other two remained in Los Angeles. Fancy that.

The food is pretty good during those times that I have eaten in the banquet halls. Usually a three-course meal with coffee at the end. I recall they have a great salad with a sweet and sour vinaigrette. If you get a chance to try that, I recommend it. The stuffed chicken is pretty good and was a good entree.

During one night, a couple friends and I stumbled into the bar at the Grille 91 Restaurant in the hotel's first floor. We had a couple of beers and chatted with the bartender as we watched a game on the tube. My friends weren't used to drinking at a bar that had marble and brass and was visibly out-of-place. It's places like these that The Don thrives in.

I haven't actually stayed in one of the rooms, though I intend to one of these days just to see how it's like. I can see how this hotel works well for touring groups performing at the performing arts center across the plaza and for out-of-towners and business people who need a place to stay. The surroundings are really nice and it's within walking distance of the Towne Center, Performing Arts Center and the civic center/library. Great location.

Came here for a wedding.

The hall was big, foyer was big, water fountains, plenty of parking, easy to find and manouver around, decor was fabulous, and the food was pretty good too.

Had a great time and they did a great job for the reception.

You can't really go wrong with Sheraton Hotels.  The rooms were clean and spacious and the staff was helpful.  The room service food was average and it was everything I expected from a starwood hotel.

Stayed here for a work trip all week.  The hotel is well appointed and currently under a bit of construction.  It looks to me like they are building a new restaurant.  The restaurant ....  I'll get to that subject in a minute.  The hotel staff were very efficient and friendly.  I like that in the mornings they have someone standing the lobby area to assist guests.  Its a nice touch.  The lobby is comfortable, the gym is decent, and the pool and hot tub are nice and located outside.  Now, the restaurant...  I went with my coworkers for breakfast on the first morning we were there.  One of them got a big piece of glass in their salsa (pico de gallo to be specific).  Yuck!  They gave him his bfast for free but I found it odd that no one apologized to us.  Weird.  You would think the manager would come over, right?  Nope, he just kept working.  Left me a bit puzzled.
Overall, I would say it was a good hotel and I would totally stay here again  :)

I had a family reunion/graduation party here and the people at the hotel who helped us plan it were incredibly awesome.  They took care of every detail and didn't leave us to worry about a thing except having fun.  The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are nice and big and very clean, and the staff were all friendly and helpful.  The location is convenient: right across from the convention center and a big shopping center with movie theaters and several restaurants, if you need to entertain yourself during your stay but don't want to drive anywhere.  The room rates (we got a group discount) were quite reasonable - around $100/night for a weekend in the middle of the busy summer season.  There was some huge religious convention or something going on at the same time as our family shindig, but even though the hotel staff probably had a lot of work on their hands with the convention, I never felt like our little party was being overlooked in any way.  The food they provided at the party was delicious: a huge spread of appetizers ranging from your standard fruit platter and cheese and crackers to more exotic things like stuffed mushroom caps and seared tuna hors d'oeuvres, and dinner that was actually good, instead of tasting like your normal rubber chicken hotel food.  We chose these three dinner options: filet mignon beef medallions, sea bass, and a grilled vegetable napoleon, and all were great.  They let us taste all the food ahead of time before we decided on the menu.  If you are looking to plan an event such as a family reunion or wedding or something in the Long Beach/North Orange County area, I highly recommend this hotel.
