9 reviews for Sheraton Bellevue Hotel
This place is in the MIDDLE OF NOWHERE! Renovation didn't help anything here, the rooms are small as all hell, and after 11PM you're on your own unless you want to walk/drive a couple miles somewhere for anything you might need other than water.
They screwed up my reservations saying I couldn't get breakfast when I was supposed to, the front desk is run by idiots, the light fixtures use the lowest wattage "efficiency" bulbs imaginable so they're dimmer than a candle, and the stupid thermostats won't let you run the A/C for more than a couple minutes at a time. Fortunately you can put them in 'bypass' mode for 48 hours by holding the F/C button for 5 seconds.
Worse, the rooms here are really expensive which is completely unjustified. This place has the basic Sheraton stuff but everything about it that isn't Sheraton is the cheapest, crappiest stuff imaginable.
Renovated with a new look and feel. Friendly check in, even asked for my starwood number. Free parking a plus. Free wifi only in the lobby and free web terminals with printer. Room is clean and new looking. Flat screen TV.
Minus one star because of no refridgerator. A little too close to the freeway for my taste, but still not bad.
Got the room through a Microsoft bulk rate of $150, does seem a little high for what it is charging.
Dingy and loud. And the food is terrible.
Here's why this hotel gets 4 stars from me:
Newly renovated, but no refrigerator-1 star.
Clean
Spacious Room
Flat Screen TV with ipod hookup to watch my favorite programs.
Friendly staff
Gym-if you are into that kinda thing
AND (the primary reason for my stay)
.
.
It's part of the Starwood 4 points family which translates to...points, more points, and free room stay!
Great location close to the 405 which puts you on most freeways. Translation: If you have a car, you can go anywhere!
Could have spent $200 or so for a swanky Seattle room, but I didn't mind my commute. This Sheraton is within a 20 minute drive from Seattle, bearing no traffic. Plus, who really spends time in a room anyway? I take my Vegas mentality on my trips and spend less than 6 hours in my room, and that's for sleeping.
For the price, this was a good value. If you are business traveler having meetings in Bellevue, this is good choice.

I agree with the previous review, parking is a little difficult.
However the only other complaint would be the lack of noise control.
Our room was right next to the lobby and I could hear every word the receptionist said starting at 5 am.
I would think the doors would be a little thicker to give their guests more privacy. This makes me wonder if they can hear our conversations.
Other than that, the room was beautiful, very comfortable and clean. The color scheme in our room was blue with a theme of sailing. The Bathroom was nice, the toilet tries brand they use were form BlissSoaps. Because of them I want to buy the Mandarin Mint Hair conditioner!
Love the expierence (other than the noise and parking) will stay with them again in the near future.
The redesigned rooms are absolutely lovely and the staff was friendly and helpful but. . .
The air conditioner in my room was incredibly noisy, the curtains didn't close all the way because of bad design, there was no fridge in the room (?), the gym was small and uninspiring, the club food was blah and the drinks cost money.
It's great to remodel a hotel, but if you don't get the basics right, it doesn't matter how swanky the rooms are. If you're an Starwood kinda guy/gal and you're in Bellevue, lie to your boss and tell them that the Sheraton is booked so you can stay at the new, swanky Westin.
OK room, nice staff. Dining options on premises not very good, choice was between a cafe like setting and a really bad mexican place.

Consider the rate before staying here (see below).
I'm a long time Sheraton customer. The Sheraton usually meets my expectations. This time, I was very dissappointed with the value.
This location is in Bellevue. It is not the Seattle Sheraton. The location is convenient if you have a meeting in Bellevue.
The property is fairly old and the rooms are very mediocre. On this occasion, I was given a room on the ground floor behind the front desk. The room was old, dingy, dark, and right next to the valet area. It was more like a cave than a room. It definitely was two steps below anything I have experienced at the Sheraton. It even had a great little unvented bathroom fan that recirculated the air through a "replace every six-months" filter. It was laughable.
HERE'S THE RUB:
What would you pay for such a crappy room? $89 bucks? Less? Yeah, they charged me $345 including tax. WHAT THE HELL? That's $100 more than I paid for the Fairmont Hotel in Orange County (see my other review)
This was a complete rip-off. I guess you can "stick it to the customer" if there are limited hotel rooms in the area.
One star for having a room. One more for the bellman that thanked me for staying with them. Hey, I'd thank you too, if you handed me $250 too much money for the "motel quality" room.

Wanted to add a little tidbit to help with the parking. Enter the parking lot from behind the hotel via 2nd St (off of 112th). Park near the awning that has the Sheraton name and logo. The enter the hotel via the door under that awning. You're in the Lower Level of the hotel (L on the elevator), one floor down from the lobby (which is on floor 2). The elevator is just inside the entry on the left.

Have to add my 2-stars on this place.
Price is the killer. I'm luckier than other reviewers in that… Read more »
