Shenandoah Inn
2 reviews for Shenandoah Inn
If you ever decide to take a trip to the rapidly growing Amador Wine country in the Sierra Foothills, this is the closest hotel to all of the vineyards and to the town of Plymouth.
The hotel is actually pretty nice. Perched on a hillside above grassy pastures, this is a nice place to stay during your weekend getaway. The rooms are clean and large, the staff is super friendly and go way out of the way to make you feel welcome, and they have a pool and hot tub that overlook the valley.
Very relaxing.
This is a gem of a hotel at a fair price. Nice pool and view of the valley complete with jack rabbits, deer and feral cats (Hi Mick!). It's convenient to a grocery store and the wineries of Amador County. The front desk was slow at times, but I wasn't in a rush so that was okay with me. The continental breakfast featured toast and sugary danishes which are extra good when taken by the pool.
