Woo Hoo! An attorney who's not a b**ch but 'bitchin'
Lenore came into my life when my partner fell into a manhole left uncovered in our neighborhood.
The bills were adding up on top of the absurdity that a hole in the middle of a sidewalk was left uncovered in the first place - so she decided to seek legal help.
I asked a friend of mine who's a law clerk and she highly recommended Lenore. Not only does she do personal injury cases, but also bicycle and motorcycle accidents as well. Oh and pedestrian cases!
So basically an accident attorney superstar in my book.
Lenore and her staff have been highly attentive in our case and continues to make us feel like we're in good hands. We're not a number because she remembers the little things - like a trusted attorney should.
I ride bikes (both kinds) so this is definitely my speed dial if anything ever happens to me whether on wheels or on foot. Wish I knew about her when I got T-boned by a truck 3 years ago :(
As far as the man hole case, I do not doubt a positive outcome from it...so there will definitely be a yelp update when the case is closed :)

First off, a very big THANK YOU to Lenore!!!
You know all those misconceptions you typically have about lawyers - you know the ones... "Why don't sharks eat lawyers?" "Because they don't eat their own kind!"
Well, I can wholeheartedly tell you that Lenore is by far the most honest, up-front and gracious lawyer - and you thought they didn't exist!!
I was recently involved in an accident on my motorcycle. Christy vs. oblivious SUV driver = booboo Christy with crunchy motorcycle. I wanted to get some advice about what my options were before proceeding with the other parties insurance, so I did a yelp search and found Shefman law Group.
I called them up and Lenore answered. She spent a good 30 minutes giving me advice, and telling me what my options were. She could have easily been a shady lawyer and taken my case, but she was honest with me said it would be in my best interest to proceed without involving litigation. She even offered to answer any other questions that may come up as I went along in the process...and all of this without compensation!
She's really like a guardian angel - she's out there for us two wheeled people who so often don't get seen and subsequently get hurt. Thanks Lenore for being there for us! -

I'm a complete F-up, I do things I should not, the bad part is I'm fully aware of these things at the time, they just seem right, I like to Party, sue me!!
Oh Crap! someone actually did TRY and Sue me :)
Although I messed up, what I did wasn't illegal and I didn't understand why I even needed a lawyer for these money hungry J-offs but apparently it was a must.
Lenore, thank you, as I almost soiled myself when I actually realize just how much trouble you just got me out of. -

Lenore Shefman is an excellent Attorney. I had to call her a couple of times regarding my investments. She returns calls immediately. She makes you feel at ease, regardless of the situations.
My experience with Lenore is that she is very trust worthy.

Lenore Shefman. was an incredible ally during an extremely stressful time.
When I was hit by a car, I found myself inside the nightmare that is America's broken medical/insurance system. I was determined to handle the situation myself, until an insurance adjuster flat-out lied to me. I didn't know how to work with that.
Realizing I was in over my head, I sought representation. Someone referred me to the Shefman Law Group, and I don't know how to adequately express my gratitude. Lenore Shefman is compassionate, knowledgeable, and professional. She handled my case while I focused on putting the rest of my life back together. She reached a settlement I would not have known was possible, answering my questions and keeping me informed along the way.
Five stars do not seem like enough. Anyone who needs legal representation for a personal injury would be wise to make sure Lenore is in their corner. -

I cannot give the same ratings since I didn't have the same experience. When your involved in an accident and your inured, the last thing you want to do is spend your day shuffling through "the wrong & right" attorneys. I decided to try yelp based on previous reviews for other things and came accross Shefman Law Group. I thought I would obtain the same courtesy as the other reviewers, which now I'm starting to question if they are fake reviews since my experience with them had been less than poor. When I did get a hold of the attorney to obtain advise from her as to whether or not she would take my case, she rushed me through the details which I hardly got to say a thing and then she rudely cut me off and stated she would call me later when she had time. That was nearly 2 weeks ago. To sum it up, found a new Lawyer; not through yelp this time, and he's awesome, very professional and knowledgeable at what he does. He makes time to listen to his clients and made me feel comfortable in signing a contract for his services. Even though this is a straight forward case, I'm glad she didn't call back, otherwise I would have never met the other attorney. BTW The other party was 100% at fault, any problems with the other insurance company being dealt with, no more annoying phone calls for me. Everyone is satisfied.
