We recently discovered this park and were pleasantly surprised. The water spray park is perfect for kids of all ages. The water equipment allows for children to play in a safe and fun environment. The park also has a full staff of life guards on duty while it is open.

There is a small public bathroom which clearly has not been updated in years but there is enough room in the stalls to change if needed, several picnic tables and a huge playground which offers lots of slides and climbing equipment.

It is a bit of a drive for me to get here but it is worth the ride for what is offered and how much fun the kids have.

There are about 6 tennis courts here that are pretty well-maintained, as well as a couple of always=packed basketball courts. Tons of grassy space, but after school and weekends the place is jammed with kiddies! There is also a track to jog around and a large playground with covered seats for the parents to watch.

If you live around Lowell, and aren't a member of a country club, you should play tennis here - especially at the two hidden courts on the far side of the court.

They took out the pool and put in a brand new playground AND sprinkler park.  The kids work up a sweat running around the playground, then cool off in the sprinkler section.

There are also tennis courts and a baseball diamond.  It's back to back with the lovely Lowell Cemmetery and Rogers Fort Hill Park.

New playground and equiptment replace the dying eyesore of a pool and they put in parking.  Has baseball field and tennis courts and a large open roofed structure that I can only call a pavillion.  This place is active and kept up very well by the city.  About one mile from 495

I live right in front of this park. We bring our toddler almost every day. It's awesome! My little guy loves to water shooting up and pouring down. The new equipment is great from swings to jungle gyms and it's all fenced in so you don't have to worry about your little one taking off quickly on you. The only thing I'd love to change is that there's no shade in the play area. There's a man made structure for the parents to sit under with picnic tables but there are no trees in the play area to shade the kids while they play.
