I called Shea after looking around on the internet for some help. As a stay at home mom I was starting to feel like I was dressing in sweats all the time and I was tired of feeling like I looked sloppy.
The only issue was distance, or so I thought. We did virtual consulting and the first thing she told me to do was think of what my 5 essential pieces needed to be, like what did I want/need that I didn't have. We also discussed me looking at my closet to figure out what I had been wearing and what had been just hanging there, what was out of date, what fit what didn't, etc.
After one or two conversations, I was able to get my 5 "must haves" and I can't tell you how much better I feel. I can be in sweats when I want to. BUT, I can also dress casually with style and feel just as comfortable as I do in sweats and it doesn't take that much extra effort. It's worth it b/c I feel good about myself after years of being a stay at home mom feeling this way with little ones.
Now I'm dressing for me in clothes that work for me stylistically and mommy hood. It's great. Shea is the greatest - the best money you will ever spend if you need to update your look, re-invent yourself, whatever. Shea has got the know how and resources to educate you to help you get to where you need (and want) to be.
Highly recommended. Wouldn't work with any other stylist. Shea is the best. -

Shea did a terrific job of assisting me with wardrobe strategy -- she came to my home and helped me purge my closet and then went shopping with me and gave me both a strategy and feedback.
In fact, her tip of a certain shoe salesperson at Nordstrom has proven most useful. Go Shea! -

I worked with Shea when I need to update my image for a new job.
She first assessed my closet. She was extremely friendly, quick-witted, and we got right down to business. She was fast, and put together outfits I had never thought of wearing, and I got instantly excited. She was aware that I had a budget, and really worked with what I had. Still, I need some wardrobe basics to mix and match.
We made piles, created a list of what I needed to get to set myself up for success at work.
Then we went shopping. She pre-pulled fabulous items for me that I would have never thought looked good on me. The best part was that it was all ready for me when I walked in the door. She is so professional, and her attention to detail, colorings and style is top-notch!
Thank you so much, Shea!! I feel so stylish and confident, and it shows! I know that I am going to be a success at my new job, because I feel so great!
I can't wait to get up in the morning, and put one of my many looks together!
Shea also changed my lipstick color, to again, to a pink, something I would never have thought of! I've gotten so many compliments; it's like what was I doing before.
Shea is a gift, and gifted at what she does!
I am so glad I found her! She ROCKS!

Shea does great work for guys. Before I met Shea I hated my clothes and felt like there were only 1 or 2 things in my closet that I felt cool and comfortable in. After meeting Shea, I get compliments almost every day on my style and have a newfound eye for fashion. Simply put, Shea unlocked my potential to have great style!
Initially we started with a phone consultation to get a feel for the look I wanted. She listened intently and kept the discussion on point. The next meeting was in the field, at a store. Shea pre-picked a variety of clothes before I arrived and I basically went straight to the dressing room, trying things on in rapid pace as she narrowed down closer and closer to my desired look. I'm glad she brought out things I would normally skip over on the racks, because even if I didn't like it, I knew how it looked on me. And a few things that I would not have been comfortable trying on are now in my closet. Shea has a good eye.
My favorite thing about Shea is she is just a good person and fun to be around. She has tons of energy and it is obvious she loves this work. And for that reason above all, I recommend her to help all the dudes out there struggling with their wardrobe. Another thing I love about Shea is that she is super hot herself! It's fun to cruise around downtown SF with a such a stylish woman.
The challenge to working with Shea is that it i a partnership- you are also responsible for successful wardrobe update. Ultimately, you make the decision on what to buy. The more you know about what you want (i.e. stores you like, styles you like, and celebrity looks) the better she can help you. At a minimum, you need enthusiasm and and an open mind. She doesn't like to waste her time or your money.
I did a bunch of research before choosing Shea and I felt her rates are very fair. She was also open to working within my budget when I needed extra time with her. -

My wife treated me to a shopping session with Shea for my birthday back in February of 2007, and I loved it. It wasn't until 2009 that I started to get serious about my wardrobe, and I've learned SOOO much since then. Creating your look takes time, and it helps if the client is involved, but it's hard, since this client has no apparent fashion sense.
I often joked that I need Garanimals For Grown Ups, but what I really needed to do was get rid of a lot of clothes that I wasn't wearing. Why? It confuses me, and makes it harder to put together an outfit.
I'm not done working with Shea by a long shot, but I typically look pretty good, and look fabulous when i go to work. It's a process, and I'm in process, and am looking forward to next Fall already! -

Superior service, extremely knowledgeable and very professional. Shea knows her stuff and provides the help and wisdom and support I needed to get my style together. I learned so much and came away with more than I would have thought.
