I'm so happy I found Dr. Shazi (on Yelp) ~3+ years ago. After a bad experience at a previous dentist, Dr. Shazi replaced/corrected several of my fillings, and unfortunately one had to be a root canal but I was amazed by her expertise (I did not experience any pain...only very mild discomfort). Now I don't mind going every 6-months for pain-free and trouble-free cleanings (the Dental hygenists have very delicate hands). The receptionist, Sue, is also very polite and helpful.
Since I found Dr. Shazi, I have recommended several others to the practice (my wife and my daughter also go there now).

Dear Dr. Hedayati,
You may have read my review as a complaint. But as a Yelper I was giving an honest review of my experience at your dental office. Yes, you did give me a discount which I stated in my review. And it doesn't matter that a year later I am writing this review because it is my discretion of when I want to post a review. Also in my review I have stated it was my fault for not looking to see if I was in your network but again it would have been nice if your office informed me in the beginning. Which they did not. But that aside, my main point was that for future references it would be courteous to let patients know how much they are going over what they are covered. Which your office did not do. With owning your own practice there are always going to be that one unsatisfied person and sadly it was me for your office. You do have rave reviews on Yelp. I am not trying to bring your business down but trying to let other reviewers know if and when they decide to visit your office. I have mentioned in my previous review that the staff at your office was friendly and nice, but mentioning things like going over coverage would be appreciated not only for me but every patient in the future. It wasn't the just the "out of network" issue.

Talk about a dentist that makes you feel good about your teeth. I have been seeing Dr. Shazi for years now and she has always been very helpful and personable about my teeth and gums. Rarely are there cavities and work that needs to be done on my teeth. She is bar-none the best dentist I have had in the Silicon Valley.

Thanks to Dr. Shazi and her staff, I haven't had a single problem with my teeth in the 10 years I've been a client. Dr. Shazi and her staff are competent and friendly. Although dental cleanings are never fun, Dr. Shazi's hygienists make the process as comfortable as possible.
I have no doubt that should I need any serious dental work, Dr. Shazi and her staff will do a fantastic job. -

Dr. Shazi and her crew are the best. Great communication skills.
There is an aura of competence in that office. They know that people
can be apprehensive (me) about a visit and make you as comfortable
as possible. One assistant ,Pam,has been there 12 years and another has been there 15. I' m gonna buy lunch for the coworker who
referred me. -

I don't go to Dr. Shazi anymore because I live too far away, but if I could, I would!
She is hands-down the best dentist I've ever had; soft yet precise, very communicative & informative, and she won't lecture you if you haven't been able to make it in for a clean-up in a while.
I highly recommend her. -

This is an outstanding dental practice. They really go beyond the call of duty, and I would definitely recommend them.
To be total up front, I've had no actual work done here, but, being that it's near the year end, I stand to lose most of my FlexPay account if I don't use it, and my regular dentist is not available at all until next year.
They listened to what I wanted done, took a minimal number of x-rays (because I only wanted to deal with known problems and I wanted to keep the radiation to a minimum, since I will also be seeing other dentists), and Dr. Hedayati made a "plan of action", and called and got me into a root canal specialist to fix a bad tooth.
In addition, they had a cancelation and had actually made a little extra room to fix a cracked filling which they were going to do right then and there (after the x-rays), but I couldn't stay due to another last-minute scheduling conflict. But they made the effort!!
They even made me a copy of the x-rays to take to another dentist that had also worked me in. (See my review of Dr Dennis Macaulay.)
I was very impressed at how helpful they all were.
Based on my experience at this office, I would fully trust all of the positive reviews. I am definitely going here for more work.

I've been a patient of Dr. Shazi for well over a decade. My dental needs are pretty advanced, I think there's more of her work in my mouth than my original equipment due to my own bad genes and an accident or two. I've known her to be flexible but firm in her patient relationships, and her professional recommendations are well-founded. Her skill and steadiness are first-rate. She's also got a good sense of humor, which helps a lot. Sure, most of us look forward to a dental visit like we look forward to taxes, but with Dr. Shazi I know the care is going to be excellent. I have no hesitation recommending her to anyone looking for a true professional.

Dr. Shazi and everyone working there make it a pleasant experience to get your teeth worked on. The staff is great and very sociable, I have been a patient since a child and would never think twice of finding another dentist. I will be a customer for life and i am sure many other people will agree. My teeth are perfect and thanks to this office and my mom ; ) i get compliments all the time on my smile!

Because of my unfortunate experience at the other dentist, my husband recommended me to his dentist, Dr. Shazi. He and his best friend have been going to Dr. Shazi for over 10 years and he likes his dentist and says she is "the best." I have been in twice so far, once just to meet her and have her check out my teeth and history. She is so super nice and personable. And so is all her staff!! They are warm, caring, and professional and welcome you. They are also very organized and efficient and there is just a good, friendly vibe there, you will notice it as soon as you walk in. Dr. Shazi even sent me away with a coffee mug and goodies inside it welcoming me to her practice. Last week, I went in for a cleaning and x-rays. I did get a bit of bad news about my teeth, I never had my wisdom teeth pulled and now it's causing me all kinds of problems with my teeth and gums! Dr. Shazi is so positive though that even when she is giving you bad news, she has a way of making it not sound so bad. She explains everything very thoroughly and takes time with you making sure you understand and makes you feel as comfortable as you can. She referred me to a good gum specialist. And even made the call for me herself and asked them if they could see me that afternoon. I am very bummed out about having to have my wisdom teeth pulled and having oral surgery but it's comforting to have a good dentist and one who truly cares. My husband and I drive to Sunnyvale all the way from San Mateo just to see Dr. Shazi, I think that says it all right there. One funny thing, Dr. Shazi knows that all of us are out there "yelping" and reviewing her and even handed me a card and asked me if I had wrote a review about her yet. I thought that was the funniest thing, that she wanted to be reviewed and "yelped" about! Not only is she and her staff nice, they are cool too!
